Burrito Joint

The chicken quesadilla and junior burrito I’ve ordered were nice, but nothing stellar. Delivery took almost two hours — unacceptably long considering I live 10 minute drive away from the place.

Amazing food!
Make sure you order in advance. Ours took 45 minutes. I heard for some people it took an hour. The quality of the food is great. Very authentic too. Almost the same as I had in Mexico.

This is our go-​to neighborhood take out joint. The salads are fresh and delicious and appreciate their vegetarian options.

I’m from California and since moving to jersey I have not had much luck with Mexican food at all. Recently the Mexican food place near me totally dropped the ball so it was time to look for a new spot. I am now over the moon about the food I tried at burrito joint!!! It’s truly amazing I don’t even know where to start because it was literally perfect! Nachos burrito taco and chimichang we sampled a little of everything! Our food came before our grub hub time frame I have seen a few complaints about that but we didn’t have a problem so perhaps that problem has been solved. I can’t wait to try more delicious food from Burrito Joint!

Great place and service! Food prepared fast and delicious! From what I have seen here on Unilocal everybody that gives this place a bad rating, orders through grub hub… That mite be the problem! I come here all the time and have ordered delivery straight through them and have not had any issues!!! Quesadillas here are the best!

This place is horrible. Ordered off of grub hub and after 1.5 hours they called saying they are out of barbacoa and said it will take another hour. I ordered once before and food was okay– figured I would give another try and it was a horrible experience.

You can’t find better Mexican around here. Especially delivery! Fresh and authentic.

Ordered over an hour and a half ago. Food is still not here. Save your headache and order tacos from somewhere else. I am very understanding of situation but this obviously is a consistent problem with this restaurant. Food is of par but still isn’t here. Save yourself from the grief of over waiting.

Hello tofu burritos and faux fish tacos! The food is above average. This is, unfortunately, contingent on if your order is correct. Perhaps I would’ve been better off actually going there and maybe I will but I’ve only had delivery this far. If your order is wrong or incomplete, don’t bother calling (like I did) because the employees DO NOT answer. Most Mexican restaurants in the area don’t have vegan options. They do. This is why I keep coming back.

Burrito Joint had our delivery at our door in 30 minutes! We live 10 minutes drive from the restaurant. I would say that’s a speedy delivery!
My husband got the steak burrito which he said was good and flavorful. He also got a small side order of the guacamole in which he devoured with the tortilla chips that came with his burrito.
I ordered the big chicken quesadilla and I highly recommend it! It was super flavorful (but not salty). The menu doesn’t mention of chips being included in the order; therefore I was very delighted to see a handful of tortilla chips on the side of both our orders. It went well with the salsa that came with our order! We will definitely be ordering from Burrito Joint again!

This place is a total joke for delivery at least. Ordered from them a couple times and both times took about 2 hours to show up. Calling them to inquire also does nothing as they sound like they couldn’t care less, and when your food finally arrives you get 2 guys in neon sunglasses who seem like they really put the «joint» in Burrito Joint in front of your house. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I’ve learned my lesson.

I ordered delivery from this place through Unilocal.Got a steak burrito for myself. My sister got quesadillas. I wanted to try the chocolate banana chimichangas, but they called back and said they were out. We live pretty close; no more than a few minutes away by car. It took around 40 minutes for the order to come, which is alright. The food was nothing special, but it wasn’t bad. I liked it well enough.

If the delivery isn’t an issue for you, the food will be amazing! Their mild salsa, is one that I’m always comparing other restaurants too! Homemade fresh chips, and fresh Guacamole are hard to get right (they do!!). My tip is to ask for your guacamole spicy, and do pickup to avoid any issues.

Let me get to the Burrito point…
$ 10 gets you a jumbo chicken burrito and chips… the food is fresh and they have a great selection of fixins that they’ll throw on there for you.

I love Mexican Salads, however, there are very few authentic Mexican restaurants that are actually made by Mexican chefs. I went there for a quick salad, and omg it was THE BEST. I believe the owner also owns two other spots, another Mexican one, and a Mediterranean one (Garbanzos). I am sure to be a repeat customer.

Last week we ordered from them. It was good and fresh food. Their chicken is well cooked and delicious. Not to fond of the bowl but the chicken taco was yummy.

We live in Union City, maybe a 10 minute walk from the physical location of this restaurant. For over 9 months we relied on them weekly for fast delivery of fresh, healthy food. No longer will we be ordering from them. These days, they rarely have healthy items in stock and their delivery time is absurd.
For the last 4 orders, they «just ran out» of the healthy option we requested (e.g. tofu, tofu sour cream, etc). We were still charged for these additions even though we were not given them. Today when the guy called to tell me they were out of tofu, I told him he could put lots of veggies instead. When I opened the burrito it was all rice and one green pepper inside. If I wanted to eat a pile of rice on a tortilla, I could’ve made that at home and saved myself the 2 hours wait.
Yes, today’s order took almost two hours to arrive. It was not the delivery guy’s fault either. The order was confirmed on grub hub shortly after ordering with an estimated delivery time. After that time had already passed, a guy from the restaurant called to say they had no tofu (see above), so basically he was just starting our order at the time it was supposed to be delivered. 30 minutes later my husband called to ask where our food was. A woman told him it had left and would be there in 5 – 10 minutes. 30 minutes again pass and still no food. Offering to comp our cold food that took 2 hours to arrive wasn’t enough to keep us as customers. Sorry, Burrito Joint.

Very disappointing. I only ordered nachos and it took. 1.5 to be delivered. I called multiple times.. When I finally received my nachos they where soggy and cold. Couldn’t even eat them. First and last time I will order from them

which is in the delivery zone. I left a tip from the website — and the restaurant called me and said since they were coming from Union City I need to give the driver more. The guy called at 12:55 and said he was 5 minutes away but did not arrive until 1:15 — why would i leave a bigger tip for cold food and someone that complains? the food was cold and just alright.

It really is unacceptable to place an order, have to call and check on the order an hour later, only to have it arrive 45 minutes after that, and totally cold. 1 hour 45 minutes. They said they were waiting on their delivery driver to return from a previous order. If true, they could have given us a call to apologize and explain the situation.
Stuff happens, we totally understand. But its just obnoxious. Unfortunately, we are not the only ones leaving this same review. We won’t be ordering from here again.
