The place satisfies our cravings for Jollibee just like in the Philippines every once in a while, so, we have no complaints with the food. I take issue sometimes with the service. Occasionally you go through the drive thru and find out later the order is incomplete. Or, like today, I placed an order which came out to $ 26+. I handed a $ 25 gift card and $ 20 and instead of charging everything on the gift card and giving me change, he did the exact opposite and took the $ 20 and charged the rest on the card. I asked for it to be changed and he said they couldn’t. Why? He just said sorry. In fear of the«special» treatment(since we hadn’t received our food yet) I just let it go. Note to self, hand the gift card first and wait to be asked for the rest of the money.

Very disappointing. I ordered in. All my food was cold. They had sandwiches sitting in the warmer which is cold. I got the crispy chicken sandwich which cost $ 2. And they dont give you the full strip of chicken. That was EXTREMELYDISAPPOINTING. Will never come back. I don’t recommend at all.

I’ve always loved coming here from the moment they opened this location. I remember the very first time I ever had Jollibee was when I went to the Philippines as a kid, so of course I was excited for this place. I think when they first opened, the service wasn’t as great as it is now. They completely redid the dining area a few years ago so it has a more appealing look than it did like 10 years ago. I always order the N2 combo, which is the spaghetti and chickenjoy. I almost always ask for the spicy chickenjoy, but today they said they didn’t have the spicy chicken anymore. I don’t know if that means they don’t sell it spicy anymore or if they just ran out of the seasoning, but I was pretty bummed that they didn’t have it. I wish they also gave me more spaghetti in my meal because I could eat a whole pot of it without getting sick of the food. It’s just THAT good. I can’t ever eat Italian/American spaghetti anymore because Filipino spaghetti tastes so much better. It’s not bland and it has that sweetness that I love! Overall, this location is really good and always clean. I am obviously a comeback customer after all these years.

My favorite is the spicy chicken but they haven’t had it since October 2015. I used to come here multiple times a week and they always tell me they might have the spicy chicken next week. It’s been months now of the same bs. They also just raised their prices, I’m done.

This place has a sign taking up a whole window which says«24 hour drive through». I have been there several times when they are not open. This is LESSTHAN24HOURS. If McDonald’s says 24 hours, they are OPEN. I expect the same from Jollibee. A famous comedian does a joke about this matter… He says he went to a 24 hour convenience store and it was closed! He knocked on the door and pointed to the sign, saying, «It says 24 hours!» The guy inside said, «Not in a ROW!»(Steven Wright)

This place is perfect if you want a cheap, bearable meal to fill you up. Service can be slow during lunch and weekend evenings, so I recommend going elsewhere for a bite unless you want to wait anywhere from 5 – 20 min. for your meal(it depends on what you order, though; smaller menu items like the Jollidog take less time to serve than bigger meals like the Ultimate Burger Steak). The place also doesn’t have much room for seating during peak hours, so take your meal to-go just in case. I mostly order Jollidogs, halo halo, Ultimate Burger Steak, and spam and corned beef sandwiches. All have been a-ok so far. But always inspect your food! I know someone who found a hair in his breakfast meal. –_–

This was my first time at jollibee after much hype from my friends and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Coming into the store, it was relatively crowded(for the day after Christmas at least). I ordered two pieces of chickenjoy(which is fried chicken) with two sides and a pineapple juice. I got my order really quickly – in about 5 minutes– and I absolutely LOVED the chicken. It was the perfect level of crispness and seasoning that can rival KFC. I ordered fries and corn for my sides, but they weren’t anything too special. Also, the people here are very friendly! The lady going around cleaning up came up to us and asked us if we needed hot sauce and took our trays for us when we were done.

2 stars because their food is awesome. I’ve always been a fan ever since I was little. I was born in the Philippines and I stayed there till I was 5 so I grew up eating Jollibee, which is equivalent to McDonalds here haha. Every time I visit, I have to have some! I always order their spaghetti, chicken joy with their amazing gravy, and their fries are pretty good. If you like Filipino spaghetti, the sweet kind, you’ll love theirs. I think its their fault for me not liking any other type of spaghetti, like American or Italian spaghetti, idk, I don’t like them. Their chicken joy matches the name haha its very crispy, juicy, and I love eating it with their gravy! Anywho, the reasons for the minus 3 stars is their customer service at the drive through. They consistently have our order wrong and they’re super slow. We now check religiously, after receiving our food, that we were given our food correctly because it happens allllll the time! There was also this one incident where there were 2 people taking our order at the same time and they kept giggling, like seriously laughing while taking our order? It was sooooo annoying and so unprofessional! I totally forgot to get their names after we got our food. Ordering food inside is, fortunately, the opposite. They are welcoming, friendly, professional, and they’re fast. So just a tip, if you go through the drive through, remember to check your order or you’ll be very disappointed!

I have had some really good experiences with this place but I’ve also had some bad ones. This is the only jolibee in the east bay. I wish there were way more but union city is the most Filipino city in the east bay so I get it. This place is usually pretty crowded. I really love their food here. They have fried chicken, palaboc, Filipino spaghetti, silog, spam sandwiches, desserts, etc. Jolibee’s fried chicken is my favorite fried chicken of all time. It tastes so good and it doesn’t taste artificial like some other fast food places do. I always pair it with the rice and gravy. So good! I also really love their spaghetti a lot. I don’t get to eat Filipino spaghetti very much so sometimes I’ll come here just to fulfill my craving. I pretty much love everything on the jolibee menu except for the hamburgers. They use miracle whip or something on it and it makes it pretty gross. Get hamburgers else where. What I also love about jolibee is that their drive thru is 24hrs. I’ve spent a lot of nights here with my friends drinking(always DD Of course). The wait here is usually really unnecessarily long. I’m talking twenty minutes to get your food. One time I waited almost thirty minutes to come home and realize they gave me the completely wrong order for me and my friends. This is their one flaw. But I still will keep coming back. Overall, great place with good cheap food. I just wish they’d improve drive thru flow.

I come here cause my son really like their chicken. I had to wait for my order for 20 minutes. When I went up to the cashier to follow-up on my order, when she asked for the receipt. Apparently the lady who took my order gave me their part of the receipt. Come on people, I don’t work there. How am I suppose to know which receipt to receive. They didn’t even apologize or even tried to satisfy their guest. And I wasn’t the only one waiting for more than 30 minutes. I used to come here with a great customer service and fast food.

PLOTTWIST! So we were missing an order of fries and everyone was almost done with their meal and we asked two time prior to the last time for the fries that were missing. The third and final time we asked, my dad got angry and confronted them. So I went up there to diffuse the situation. I told them what was going on and one the employees, she’s short and possibly part African American, told me that the ultimate burger steak comes with fries in the box. Mind you all I get is burger steak and I know that. She kept pushing that there were fries in the box when there obviously wasn’t. We got ONE order of fries and was missing one. They forced the thought that we got both and this employee had the nerve to strike an attitude with me. I can understand if a customer was wrong, but in this situation, not being biased because it was me, I was right because WEONLYGOTONEORDER. So thank you to the two rude employees that obviously have no control over their own mistakes and have terrible customer service, definitely makes me rethink coming back to this location, especially with service like that. The only positive was the woman that at least tried to help me and was so nice and gave me the missing order of fries, kudos to her, she knew what customer service was about.

First and last time I’ll have jollibee. I went a few weeks ago and ordered the spicy chicken with the palabok. I like spicy food but this chicken was way too spicy. The seasoning was only on one side of the chicken, wasn’t evenly distributed at all. I took one bite and couldn’t stop coughing. The palabok, I don’t think you can call that palabok. The noodles were watery and the sauce had no flavor at all. I understand it’s fast food but it just didn’t look appetizing. The service wasn’t that great either. I was making a joke to the cashier that it was my first time having Jollibee and all of the workers turned around and gave me a weird look. Okay? Did I offend y’all? I probably won’t come back. It just doesn’t seem worth it to me at all. I don’t understand the hype. And this isn’t real Filipino food in the slightest.

I’m a Filipino girl who loves Jollibee. What’s new? But seriously, when I get the craving for some good fried chicken and rice smothered in gravy(DUDE, THEGRAVYISTHEONE), Jollibee is the place to bee jolly. Heh. Filipino fast food so don’t be expecting some authentic home cooked style meal but you’ll still get a taste of the homeland with their variety of Filipino foods and desserts on the menu. This particular location doesn’t have the greatest service but they’re still pretty nice most of the time. The only thing that got to me last time was that I was standing at the counter for a good minute while it felt like they were ignoring me, asking each other who’s gonna help but still taking awhile to actually do so. Good thing I understand Tagalog, pare. But still, chicken joy available 24 hours via drive thru works for me!

it’s been a few years since i’ve been here as i was having flashbacks of their ‘spaghetti’…my bad for not knowing what Filipino spaghetti was like and was somewhat ‘traumatized’…sliced hot dog, spaghetti in a sweet sauce which tastes like ketchup… i remember that first and only bite before i had to toss it… but i do remember their delicious lumpia shanghai… lummmpia! Sadly, the ‘spaghetti’ is still there but their lumpia is no more… sigh…ordered the chickenjoy which is fried chicken along with steamed rice meal… it was good for fast food but not in any hurry to try again. nice fry but nothing special except that it comes with brown gravy.

I always love Jollibee’s chicken. Before we got one here in Hawaii, my first time trying it was in Union City, CA a few years ago. Made it back to Cali to have lunch here with my family. As always I like to get the chicken joy with fries. Service was slooooow though, took almost 15 minutes to order and another 30 minutes just to get our orders. Perhaps maybe we came during peak hour?! But I would think around 2 pm, it’d die down bit from the rush. My nephew had the spicy chicken and that was extremely spicy, even for me who loves spicy food. Never had I tasted a fried chicken that was so spicy like that. Overall, aside from the long awaited wait, our food was served hot and crisp.

The taste is different compare to kfc, and it’s better! The chicken is very tender, and it’s also not as fatty/oily like other places. There’s also a wide selection of drinks to choose from, except sprite. Great place for first timers. I would come here again if I crave fried chicken.

Jollibee is a great fast food Filipino place. But I’ve noticed their food has become salty & also sometimes rushed. But I always love how their burger steak is cooked & their pineapple juice is always refreshing! It’s a bit watered though. The seating area has improved though. Much more comfy to sit on. It’s always so busy during the peak hours! I usually order the chicken & spaghetti. It’s a good combo together. Spaghetti is sweet! Chicken is crispy. I love the burger steak too! It’s smothered in gravy & mushrooms. The gravy is amazing! The tocino(marinated pork) breakfast is good too, but the tocino is salty. But it balances the egg. This comes along with garlic rice which goes perfect with it!

Wait until I load the picture … I’m such a Unilocal geek! This is my visit to any Jollibee. My co-worker has brought the chicken tenders back for me before, pretty good. This time I offered to pick-up. 1PM, I was hoping I missed the worst part of the lunch rush to this very busy area in Union City. I missed the worst, but it was still pretty bad. If you are in a hurry to get into this area and pick-up anything, forget it! Busy, busy area with the freeway, on/off ramps and all of the stores/restaurants in the area. I went thru the drive-thru which I usually don’t. I figure if I’m eating«fast food», I should at least get my ass out of my car and walk a little! Ordering was easy, guy was really friendly. The order I placed wasn’t straight-up easy, but wasn’t crazy. When I arrived at the window, I was told that they were out and would have to cook my order fresh, 7 minutes. No biggie. I parked in front. While in front, I was taking pictures when one of the employees offered to take my picture. I’ll upload later. Food came out 7 minutes later. They gave me extra tenders and a mango pie. Level of service is certainly more than I expected! Much better than most fast food places I’ve been to. 3.5 stars rounded up for great service & good food!
