Aman is so rude, she should not be working in customer service if she won’t smile. I have come here a lot of time and each time no one here can make a sandwich that doesn’t break before wrapping. When I checked out last time. Apparently the gift card machine could not read my card when she swiped it, even though I told her she has to manually enter it because it’s starch, and she said «We do not do that here». Total lie.
Overall this is the worst Subway I have ever been to. I used to go for the convenience of it being 2 minutes from my house. But from now on I will be driving the 10 minutes to the Hayward Subway. Better quality and the girls that work there are great.

Worse customer service I’ve ever experienced.
So, I’m getting two sandwiches for a friend and I. I CLEARLY tell her that I wanted 2 «Steak EGG and cheese breakfast sandwiches.» There’s no bread available at the moment so I opt for flatbread (fine). As she’s making my sandwiches, I noticed there’s no egg in it (I’m thinking maybe it gets put last) so I ask her about it and she corrects me and says I never said I wanted egg so I should tell her ahead of time. WTF. Then comes the veggies part. My friend wanted avocado so when she came back with it she says it isn’t ripe and she’s clearly having a hard time slicing it. So I told her my friend didn’t want the sandwich anymore if there’s no avocado. She quickly tries to cut it and say it’s okay to eat. Then when I tell her no, She had the audacity to say I was being wasteful and that I should’ve told her I wanted avocados to begin with. I’m usually not rude but because she did this to me, I told her veggies come last in a sandwich and their avocados should be ripe. As she’s finishing up my sandwich, I notice she forgets the egg again and by this time I don’t care anymore… BUT she charges be $ 7.38 for a $ 4 6in sandwich. When I correct her, she gets angry with me telling me she didn’t know the pricing…
She’s lucky I even bought 1 sandwich because I was ready to walk away.

I usually get sandwiches from subway neat my home and never had any problem, but with this subway I have to give it 1 star if I could I would give it 0! This is my 3−4^th time buying from here and I’m super disappointed! how hard is to make a sandwich?! The first time I had a sandwich from this location I was disappointed on how my sandwich was mad! Super messy and drenched in mayo and mustard. I decided to give it a few more times thinking it was just that one day but NO after today I will definitely not be going back there for more food! Its like they just toss whatever it is, drench it in so much mayo/​mustard., its seriously so messy. It looks like they do NOt know what they’re doing! And the service isn’t too welcoming either. Bottom line I won’t be coming back I rather drive further to another sandwich place then coming back. Two thumbs down!

I love Subway and this one is so close to my place. This is why it makes me sad that I have to avoid this place for such bad sandwiches and service.

I’ve patronized this location several times and EVERY time I’ve had a terrible experience. Their service is extremely slow (they usually have only 1 person working) and their customer service is just as bad. I always say that I will never patronize this location again but they’re the closest to my house :-(I’ll be making the drive in the future.

Poorly maintained subway. Could not wash hands in the bathroom — soap dispenser not working. The sink was so dirty.

Italuan in sourdough and the top of the bread was so hard and stale we could not eat it, we were already home so did not drive all the way back just for a new top bread, why would anyone serve this? Horrible customer service and qualuty! Avoid this dirty shop.

If I could give zero stars I would. Worst subway ever! I walk in with my boyfriend, the workers don’t even greet us, instead they’re standing in the corner speaking their own language, which already looks bad. Once we walk close to look at the menu they finally acknowledge us and ask what we wanted. I said we didn’t know yet and they said okay, one minute later, they ask AGAIN, I replied with the same answer, and then they ask ANOTHER time another minute later. I was already very irritated at this point, is it not obvious I would tell you when I’m ready? What really pissed me off was this though, despite saying I wasn’t ready still, they dare ask me,“okay, well what bread do you want, 6 inch or foot long?” This is where I got so upset, my boyfriend and I both replied,“we told you that we are not ready,” in the most, trying so hard not to be rude, way. Then the worker freaking talks to the other worker in her language, laughs, and then says sarcastically, «okay just tell me when.» What the hell, could you make it any more obvious that you’re talking crap about us? We were so upset we just walked out and didn’t order a thing. Oh but the icing on the cake, while we were walking out, the worker said,“have a nice day” in the most sarcastic way possible. This place is terrible all because of the staff! Get new staff who know how to respect the workplace and most especially your customers! I hope you both saw me flip you off on the way out!

I went here right after a good workout at city sports. & I regret coming here. It was about 8 almost 8:30 & it took about 5 min for a employee to realize I’m waiting for them to make my fucking sandwich. When she come, she greeted me and apologized which was okay. Honestly, subways is one of the things I eat the most since I’m starting to eat healthier than before. I would never go back here. She took hella long to make my damn sandwich & the lady who made my sandwich seemed like she never made a fucking subway sandwich in her life. It was messy when I opened it. I was already pissed off but I was already in the paying part so I just brushed it off. When I was going to pay, I gave her my card & she gave me a weird ass face and said «you don’t have cash?» And I was like «no.» Then she mugged me. She was lucky I had a good workout of else I would’ve just walked out at that moment. As I was eating my sandwich inside, they were already closing the doors. & there was two little kids inside also waiting for their ride. The other employee yells at them and say «are you done?! Because we’re closing.» TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I’ve been to multiple subway place but this place is just terrible. They wouldn’t stop starring at me when I was eating my sandwich, I felt the rush vibe they gave me. I honestly don’t know how they both got hired honestly. I didn’t get their names, but I really can careless. If you’re craving subway, DONT come here. Go to another one.

These people at Subway give terrible service. They make no effort at all in making the sandwiches. Even though there is only one person in line, they will rush to make the sandwich. They have crappy attitude and get all sassy if you ask for extra services. Don’t go here. Bad hygiene, bad attitude, bad sandwiches, bad food prepping, bad everything.

Irritated. Bread (wheat) was dry and the lettuce was brownish. I thought it was hard to mess up a sandwich because there so simple to make… I was wrong. My sandwich was not good. I am very disappointed because I love Subway. But my biggest pet peeve is when I ask for a little mayonnaise and mustard and I receive a mountain load. Despite trying to remove it, it doesn’t taste right. In addition, I felt I was annoying the server with my presence.

Anytime I come somewhere that only has two stars I get a little nervous. But I was more hungry I was nervous. The lady was very nice she was a little slow but very nice she gave me extra avocado and I don’t think she knew she did that. They had the Minute Maid light lemonade and they have my soup that I like, broccoli cheddar. The tables were not all clean but we did find A clean table. I give a five stars for the extra avocado and she was very nice.

Pretty slow service. Sandwiches are fairly well proportioned. Often a hit or miss on the quality. But overall friendly associates.

Worst subway I’ve ever been too. All of my toppings were falling out of my sandwich, asked for it toasted and it wasn’t even warm or close to being toasted. They were so slow. Don’t come here, very shitting and horrible ass service.

Lady was not friendly at all. She made the sandwich with no care. Mayo in one area. Toppings all piled up in the center. Fridge was broken so all the apples and milk in there were warm. So I decided to get a fountain drink. Fruit punch was out. Greeeat!

this review is way overdue but it needs to be reviewed!
I work for a company for the developmentally disabled. We go on community outings and this was one of their food options for their weekly Friday eat out. We ordered 17 BLT sandwiches to go since our clients were going to watch a movie at the center.
When we received the BLT sandwiches there was ONE STRIP of bacon each 17 sandwiches!!! really? You think because we serve developmentally disabled, that WE as staff don’t check their food prior to consumption!!! How cheap can you be!!! one strip of bacon on a BLT! what kind of BLT is that?!
I called the store right away and a manager was not even present until the Tuesday after that Friday. The not so educated not so well speaking English lady told me there is nothing she can do when I asked for reimbursement or remake of my clients sandwiches. When I spoke with the manager on Tuesday to ask what he can do, he said that I was trying to get money out of his store?! really?! How would I be trying to get money when it is MY clients you ripped off!!!
one word after this convo with this dumb manager: CORPORATE!!!
I hope this store shuts down! give jobs to those that really need it. This Subway hires family members im sure cuz they are as dumb as the manager

Totally agree with previous reviews. What really bothered me the most is how bad their attitude is towards customers. Every once in a while I will buy a sandwich whether it’s completely empty or maybe a couple people the workers are in a horrible mood. They show every ounce of it as well. They don’t speak up which irks me. They are one of the main reasons I don’t come here often.

At first this subway was cool and all but now my brother and I both have a stomach bug because we had their tuna sandwich. Their tuna didn’t taste the same when I ate it either. I feel horrible and will never eat their tuna again!
Their customer service isn’t the best and they don’t put enough ingredients in your food especially when you want extra!
Basically when you go here, only order what people eat the most because it can’t spoil.

Subway was one of those places I used to eat at all the time when I was in college. I remember when they were the number 1 fastest growing franchise thanks to Jared I think.
Anyways, it is still a solid option. Loved the smell of fresh cookies when I walked in here. $ 5 footlong is a good deal especially the meatball.

Oh man, this is quite possibly the worst smelling restaurant I’ve ever been in. Smells like straight up spicy armpit. Seriously, it’s called deodorant. Use it.
Also, it seems like every ghetto person in Union City comes to this Subway. I was witness to this conversation a few weeks ago.
Ghetto dude — «Yeah man, put hella meat on there. Yeahhhhh double that shit yo»
Worker — «It’s gonna cost extra you know.»
Ghetto dude — «It’s all good shes paying.» *gestures towards this girl trying way to hard to look fancy*

Me — «Oh yeah, sure man»
Ghetto dude — «Yeahhhhhh thats right. Put extra everything on it. Gonna be a KING’s sandwich!»
This fools sandwich came out to be like 10 dollars. After he left, me and the worker kinda just gave each other a look and laughed.
Food here is typical Subway fodder. Doesn’t beat any of the places around it, especially with Cam Huong a few stores down and Togo’s right up the street at the Landing. Skip for me
