beach noun — an expanse of sand or pebbles along a shore M!ch!g@n noun — the scum of this earth I don’t know how or why I ever stepped foot in this god forsaken state but it somehow happened. I do regret it. Though I prefer natural bodies of water over constructed forms that hold a cesspool of dirty water, this location, in this part of the country, might as well be a old dirty bathtub with lukewarm water because someone just got done with their evening bath. I don’t come here. I don’t participate. I leave. Go Buckeyes!

Nice lovely little peaceful beach area for the family vacation! My son was tempted to run into the private beach areas since the public access area was so small, but we had a great time!

other than the annoying security guards making sure you stay on public beaches instead of the private… this beach is beautiful… soft sand, and warm water. watch out for rip currents though. the waves get pretty big.

This is almost always my first stop on a trip to Harbor Country. If I get there around 11AM, I can take a nice two-hour walk along the beach before finding a fun lunch spot. I like to call this area the«Malibu of The Midwest.» If you take a right at the bottom of the stairs, you can walk along the shore of all the lake front homes which are all perched up on the bluff. Don’t dally on their beaches, though, as the beach rights are private. Anyone can walk along the water, of course, and their is a small public access beach at the bottom of the stairs from the small parking area. You can take a long hike here, and do some rock hunting. And you usually will not find any crowds. Just great scenery and solitude. Especially off-season. Parking near the entrance is easier then.
