My friend had an open jam here recently so I bought the $ 30 for $ 15 Unilocal deal. I went by myself so I was able to have a salmon entrée, dessert, and a drink and I only went over by a few bucks. Everything was delicious. I had been to Café Z off an on for a few years for their live music. The food is always good and authentic Italian. It’s a cute, intimate spot where regulars hang out. There’s even another bar and dining area in the back that’s totally separate. The only downer for the evening was when the bartender added the gratuity to my bill without telling me, that was rude. I’m in the restaurant industry so I would’ve tipped generously, more than what he tacked on. I guess people who buy vouchers don’t tip fairly on the full value of the meal, but I would have. Still, he should’ve let me know because at first I was a little confused about why my final bill was so high. Another person needed me to read his bill for him and I noticed there was no tip automatically included on his. So that’s my only complaint. I’d still go back for their live music, all my experiences in the past have been great.

The food & service were both great. We started off with the Calamari as our appetizer, it was good but lacked the crunchiness that I prefer and have grown accustomed to; I later found out that the next time I should ask for it to be fried with bread crumbs; I’ll try that on my next visit. The VIP Shrimp were very good, the shrimp were tasty and a nice size, I can’t wait to go back and try something else. If you’re looking for a new spot give Café Z a try, great food, great drinks and exceptional customer service. Bön Appetite.

Delicious food, good value for the money, although I bought a voucher that wasn’t valid the night I visited. Friendly courteous wait staff. Great entertainment. Now I still have a voucher so I will visit again. Blue sangria lived up to its reputation– yummy!

What an incredible little hidden treasure! My mom and I stopped here for lunch and it was divine. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. I couldn’t decide what I wanted to order because everything sounded SO delicious, so I asked the waitress for her recommendation and she was spot on. I don’t remember the official name of the dish, but it had shrimp and was served over capellini pasta. The shrimps were BIG, the homemade pasta was cooked to the PERFECT texture and the blend of ingredients was extraordinary. I have a great appetite and the portion was so abundant I couldn’t finish it, and I took home enough for my lunch the next day. This place is the complete package and is my new favorite restaurant.

Love this place. I go all the time, especially when the horror nights are there. The wings are amazing, and the staff makes you feel like family. Tons of space and well priced.

Food was OK. But service was slow and the weekend piano gig, way too loud. I’m at this place to eat, not watch a piano act… being forced to shout my orders across the table. It’s a small room, very dark. Needs s design overhaul badly.

I’ve passed by Café Z for several years and finally decided to try it out when purchasing a living social deal. Three of us headed over on a weekday evening. The place was pretty empty and we were seated by the window. I really liked that seating area and found it very cozy. We started off with a few beers– only $ 2.50 for domestic pints and the beer was ice cold– yum! My sister ordered the pasta bolognese, which was delicious. I kept stealing some of hers, wishing I had ordered the same. In an attempt to be carb-conscious, I ordered the chicken brianna. It was okay, but probably not their best dish(I should’ve gotten pasta!). My boyfriend ordered the ribeye and seemed to like his. Our server was very friendly and now that I know what to order, I wouldn’t mind going back for an ice cold beer and some pasta.
