Cluck U Chicken

These owners, Mike and Jeff, are the underhanded, lying, nean people who have absolutely no respect for others, especially the handicapped. They agreed to place a container in their store to collect for the MDA, muscular dystrophy. The container disappeared. i gave them another and that disappeared as well. They then promised to make a donation from the store. It’s been several weeks and several phone calls and visites… no donation. They are dispicable people and I wouldn’t ever patronage theyr business.

Food isn’t bad, but not great either. I ordered the buffalo bleu chicken sandwich with gravy fries. The portion size of the sandwich was large, so I was only able to eat half of it. Wasn’t crazy about the taste of the buffalo sauce and the chicken was somewhat bland. The gravy fries were good. Needed salt, but would order again. Wouldn’t mind eating here, but it’s not at the top of my list.

Food was yummy! Lots of food given! Not sure why everyone is knocking this place!!! The customer service was awesome. The man who helped us actually helped us. Gave us tips on best way to order to save the most money. Will definitely go back!

Delivery took longer than a hour and also messed up the order. The food was cold and soggy! Very expense and bad service.

I ordered from cluck u from grub hub and it was really easy. I use to order from cluck u in Morristown and I wished this cluck u had the wet bites. That sauce was amazing! I ordered some beast bites, spuds and chicken tenders w traditional sauce and side salad. Everything came as ordered although the sauce was on the Side which was fine less likely to get the chicken soggy. My order came on time and my delivery driver was really nice and polite. I will order again! Please bring wet bites to this location!

Been here like 3 – 4 times and every time I go the food isn’t good. The service is extremely slow and it takes a long time for the food to be ready. After giving this a couple of chances I don’t think I’ll be coming back. If I could give it no stars I would.

I ordered for delivery and it never showed. I opted to drive there instead. The individual behind the desk was extra frustrated. They had friends loitering at the store and I also witnessed the teller making change for herself (without any type of supervision) while I was waiting for my order.
Speaking of orders, I waited an hour and a half before finally calling the store and they claimed they called numerous times and they were «outside». The teller began swearing to other co-​workers (on sales floor; this is when I opted to drive and order food and wait in store) about how another co-​worker was picking on them and said «This fuckk face thinks I’m not doing my job and bullsting with my friends; I’m not doing that». It was clear they were.
The food was meh. Not the best however, the customer service I received was absolutely unacceptable. I would not recommend anyone to ever go there.

When I go and buy the same thing in store it’s 8 dollars and some change.
Who in the actual fuck puts a over 100% delivery charge?

Don’t waste your time ordering from this location the employees answer the phone with an attitude if you order the food for delivery it probably won’t come for and hour or more and lastly I ordered the value pack #5 with and order of cheese spuds they both were cold and soggy take my advice if your looking for quality in food and customer service stay far away from this location.

Went there last week for take out. The chicken was so over cooked it was hard. They forgot the fries I ordered and paid for. The burger was ok, that’s why it got two stars.

The food is fine, but we didn’t get all of it. Ordering over the phone was a nightmare and fries & a drink were missing when it got here. I called them back and was put on hold. Then they said they would get them back out as soon as possible. An hour later I finally got my cold soggy fries. My chicken sandwich wasn’t really what I asked for either. Like I said, the food is fine, but it’s more trouble than it’s worth to get it. Really terrible service.

Surprised by other reviews but if your like me and you prefer boneless wings this place is for you. The best boneless wings I’ve ever had. And the blue cheese is just as good. The regular wings are just as good I just prefer them boneless.

The fried chicken was really good, like really really good. It was nice and crispy on the outside but still juicy on the inside, without being overly greasy. AKA heaven. I have to say that hands down this is probably my favorite chain, fried-​chicken restaurant. They also have yummy sandwiches, great sides, and combos all at a price that doesn’t break the bank.
Cluck-​U is not really a place to dine-​in, but I can see how it’s a prime spot for the 2am college crowd — which is so convenient seeing as this location is up the block from a college campus. Upside to limited seating? They deliver!
I have to give Cluck-​U Chicken as a whole a ⁵⁄₅. But, the Union location has it’s flaws: limited parking and very limited seating, and for that I give the Union location a ⁴⁄₅!

Well, my rating is between a 1 and a 2. I have gone twice just to be sure it wasn’t me having a bad day. Better to call ahead or plan to wait for food. OK, if the food is worth waiting for, that is not a problem.
There is price$$ difference between dark & white meat chicken. Thanks for telling this upfront (that’s a joke because they did not). More for white meat chicken.
I get an 8 piece, wait 20 mins (i was cool with that). I ask for 4 BBQ sauces& Wham, «that will be…$$…» I’m getting charged for sauce extra after paying Top Dollar for an 8 piece??? You just lost a customer Mr Owner Watching Every Move because I’m too Cheap& want to Maximize Profits. Game Over. Good Luck with that approach. I just turned & walked out.

This place is awful. I waited 15 minutes for a chicken sandwich that came out as the wrong order. I saw two customers come back during the wait with problems with their own order. The three people working there on 11÷22÷14 were just sitting on the counter watching the TV set. When I finally got my order it was on a thick stale bun with none of the sauces it described. Crap on all levels.

Cluck U does to the customer what it’s name suggests. Avoid this dive to avoid a disappointment.
Food is over cooked. Prices of beverages are not displayed because they are ridiculously high.
Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I have gotten the fried chicken and the chicken Caesar salad before. The fried chicken was over cooked and pretty dry. It was also thrown directly onto foil which obviously doesn’t drain the oil which was gross. The chicken Caesar salad with grilled chicken was not good. It was literally only chicken on romaine lettuce with a packet of ken’s Caesar dressing. No croutons, no cheese. Underwhelming to say the least. I will not be ordering from here again.

Every single time I get something from this place it’s always a disappointment. Gave me a burnt chicken sandwich with old bread once and that was the last drop worst fast food I’ve ever had!!! McDonalds is 10x better than this place and THATS an understatement…

I remember Cluck U being a place that served good crispy chicken back in the day in New Brunswick and other areas. Saddened to report this place was far from that memory. The wings were fried and soaked in a sauce. The sauce was much like a Chinese 5 spice ketchup, disgusting, for wings. Overly sweet and so much sauce it made the chicken hard to eat and impossible to taste anything else. When I think of good wings I think Franks Hot Sauce and butter. The side of slaw was soaked in dressing. After a couple of bites it was necessary and proper to just throw the entire contents into the garbage, scrub my hands clean of the sauce and agree to never return.
