This store is located in the Union Shopping Center off of Route 22. There is a lot of parking so no need to drive like a maniac. If you play sports then this store is for you. Lots of equipment for basketball, soccer, football, and baseball. They also sponsor High School teams. From time to time they host sideway sale and you can pick up decent if you look hard enough. They have a nice selection of shoes but do not look for any Kobes, MJs, Lebrons, or Melos.

…got to go to MO’s! They had exactly what we were looking for, black work boots. The staff was helpful and the register person was very nice and professional.

Modell’s is still in the old Pathmark Plaza on Rt. 22. This is a larger store, with a fair selection of athletic wear, logo goods, footwear and some sporting equipment. As with other Modell’s stores, prices are a mix between high everyday prices and deep discounts. There’s usually something interesting here, at an attractive price.
There are much better selections and prices on footwear elsewhere on Rt. 22.
This store has always hired very young, unmotivated floor and cashier help. They usually succeed in weeding-out the malignant attitudes, but there is always a fine line. As far as receiving any degree of assistance, there sometimes is a manager type with a rudimentary knowledge of their products.
