Nail Tek

Bad customer service. Came here for a fill in. They cracked two days later. I went back to get them fixed and the man told me no! That the fill in is done by cuticle not where mine was chipped! What??? Bad customer service! If he would just have fixed the nails (3 balls of product) they probably would have had a repeat client. But now, I will NEVER go in there!!!

Great gel manicure until 15 hours pass. Will not go back $ 25 gel manicure and $ 5 to take off old gel which lasted for 3 weeks. Was in area, but will head back to DIVA Nails in Irvington for money worthy job. 3 days & I have 3 chipped nails, lol. I have to laugh to keep from going back for them to fix it, smh.

Ok if looking for a last minute pedicure or manicure.

Ok place. Quick pedicures no spa touches to quick to relax but if your desperate it’s ok. Very basic. Very quiet no one talks. Asian owner and all other workers young Spanish girls. Some steady some quick turnarounds Same for manis quick and basic. Typical pricing not cheap but not expensive. It’s my fall back place when my regular place is booked.

Basic, okay nail salon, no problems, fair pricing, doesn’t stand apart, good color selection, not crowded, polite staff, average, did the trick. If in the area I’d return for convenience, however wouldn’t go out of my way.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE. First and last time there. I got the pink and white full set. I was dark out so i didnt realize how awful the job had been til the next morning. My nails were bumpy, uneven, and they were already starting to come off by the next day. I went back to see if they could fix them and they told me to come in the next day because they wanted to show the guy that did my nails what he did wrong (reasonable). However, when I went back to have him fix my nails he cut my fingers so bad. He kept scrapping off so close to the cuticle, 5 of my fingers we bleeding badly. Now I dont know if he was upset because I complained or he was just that inexperienced but i stuck through the pain because i didnt have time to go to another nail salon and have them finish my nails. Honestly, I didnt even care if having anyone else there fix them or getting my money back. I think when someone now causes physical pain it is just not worth wasting your time on trying to get anything back.

The manicurist was awesome. I have been to her twice and every time she took her time and did such a great job. I haven’t had much success finding a nail salon that does as good of a job as Nail Tek. I will be back!

I’m forever trying to find a decent nail place in the Union area. This place was another example of a disappointment. The manicurists rush through and the manicures only last a few days. The polish on the shelf is old; there are a lot of no name brand polishes and the color is old and separated. I went in for a polish change because I had just been in there the week before for a manicure and didn’t see the need to get my cuticles cut again, etc. Once I asked for a polish change, I got a dirty look and the manicurist made sure to do the absolute bare minimum and rush through polishing my nails. I do not plan on going back.
