Server was polite but everything else was horrible menu had old food stuck on it. Took forever for food to come out drinks were watered down at least the biscuit were still good. I will not be returning here

I normally try to avoid reviewing chain restaurants, but this Red Lobster location is so lackluster that I can’t help but make an exception here. I’ve been to this location several times now, most recently on Cinco de Mayo– my thoughts were that everyone would be eating at a Mexican restaurant, so it would be fairly dead here. To an extent I was right, as there were several open seats at the bar, so I grabbed one. However, here was only one bartender working, splitting his time between making drinks for tables in the back room and tending to guests in the bar area. Unfortunately guests sitting at the bar took a backseat, as it took 10 minutes to flag him down and order a drink. Waiting for the check was equally as painful, the bartender disappeared for what seemed like 15 minutes and was nowhere in sight. Thankfully a manager came over and closed me out. What I didn’t seem to understand was how much food was getting back to the kitchen. The couple seated next to me ordered the large fried seafood platter, and kept complaining how it was nothing like was pictures in the menu. The next couple over sent both of their entrees back for being cold. My entrée itself was fine, just struck me as weird how dissatisfied with this restaurant many people were.

Where do I begin? First, the second you walk in, the place smells as if the carpets have not been cleaned. We had an under trained waiter who barely knew the menu or options. Next, it took us over 35 minutes to receive our food with one member of our party still waiting. She later received her food 1 minute before she was ready to cancel, after everyone else was just about finished with their entrees. Another person ordered cheese fries but asked the waiter before he puts the order in if it was it possible. The waiter came back and said they can do the cheese fries with the cheese being the saucy type(not sure the correct term). When the fries came, they just sprinkled shredded cheese on top, it wasn’t even melted. The same cheese you use for tacos! Really ?? My shrimp order was horrendous! I could have literally gone to a freezer section in shop rite and buy the same shrimp they served. The tartar sauce was horrible on top of that! Bad atmosphere, staff looked like they could give 2 shits, and again the smell of dirty carpet really turned me off. They should really thank my mother in law, she had gift cards here and decided to use them. I am not trying to come off snobbish, etc but I have eaten at other franchise restaurants before and this place will never see another dime of mine. I could have just had an off night but like they say you only get 1 first impression.

So inconsistent. The food & service are good when it’s crowded but when it’s not crowded the workers are so lazy and the food comes out dry and not flavorful. It’s like no one’s on their A game unless they’re under pressure. I’m here currently & was ready to leave but I’m not the one that drove. Thought it would’ve been crowded to guarantee good service, but it’s actually empty for a Saturday. We arrived here about 2:30. The waiter came to our table about 2:45& our salads didn’t arrive until about 3:15. Biscuits came minutes later. Service is so slow today and it’s not even crowded. I won’t ask for management because the waiter, Oladi is so nice & I don’t want management to easily blame him. Just posting on here to let the consumers know. It’s best to go when it’s crowded. I live within 5 minutes from here, but I think this will be the last time I decide to eat here for a long while

Sat at the bar. Terrible service, horrible food as usual. I only do red lobster as a favor for friends. But friends shouldn’t let friends dine at red lobster, especially this location

Food and drinks are a 5! Service is a ½…so overall is a 3… otherwise, I would rate a 5! Service: Primarily it’s young urban females who totally lack customer service. it’s disgusting how I’ve seen them treat other guests. They’ve given me very smart remarks when I requested booth seating since I have had my toddler with me the last 2 times I came there in the last month. They behave as if you being there is an inconvenience to them. Its as if they would rather not be there. I have overheard them make comments of being there for extended times as if they are being overworked: this is a bad reflection on management since it has a trickle effect on the customer experience. The actual servers have been great and accommodating considering our order requests changed afterwards. I have no complaints with the servers. Food: Excellent! No complaints. Biscuits are good. Food was tasty. Pasta dishes weren’t dry or lack shrimp to pasta ratio… delightful :)

Do you have high blood pressure? Well, don’t come here at this particular restaurant then. Salad was so salty that I couldn’t eat 2 spoons. However the main course was good. I had taken the New Orleans Salmon. Liked the way the Salmon was cooked. Mashed potato could have been little better — it seemed very dry. Service was great though. She was very friendly and was attentive. Lots of parking outside.

Went to this Red Lobster since it’s the closest one to me. Service was meh, as usual. However, It’s worth coming here because of those addicting cheddar biscuits. Also, their Caesar salad is like no other!

This red lobster is in a great location. Parking is good, they have a big lot. It wasn’t really crowded in here, so we got seated right away. Out waitress was nice, and attentive. Our food was exactly what we wanted, and ordered. Nothing to complain about. Will return.

We had a feeling this would be a bad visit upon entry — and we were right. There was no one to greet us. A confused waitress came out and seated us. Our table was filthy. We had to ask for a wipe down. Our waiter did come promptly, however, he never gave us his name or told us what the specials were. We had to ask for silverware. We asked for a sample of wine because we’d never heard of any of the offerings on the menu. Our waiter left to ask his manager if this was ok. He cane back 10 minutes later saying he never found someone to consent to our request, but that he would comp the sample of wine when he did find a manager. This sounded questionable so my companion just ordered a Chardonnay. The food came out quickly. It was ok. My salad had wilted lettuce. We had to ask for biscuits and that little fork that should accompany a crab dish. Another server brought us the fork as we could not find our waiter at this point to facilitate this request. The bathroom had no soap at either sink. One sink had a hole where the soap dispenser should have been. The paper towel dispenser was automatic and temperamental to say the least. I felt like I was in a Seinfeld episode trying to get paper towels out. All in all a poor visit and I get that it’s a chain, but for a $ 70 tab, so not worth what we paid.

My only issue with this place is how dirty the utensils and drinking glasses are. On my last visit, I ordered a jack daniels neat and noticed small white particles floating in the glass. Never going to this place again.

The other day, we decided to have Sunday lunch at Red Lobster. I hadn’t been there since I was a little kid in the late 90s, so I figured it was something different from the other chains that line Route 22. Obviously, Red Lobster is by no means quality, top of the line seafood, but for the prices they charge, it’s not bad either. All three of us decided to do the Four Course Feast, with the infamous and delicious cheddar bay biscuits. I had the Breaded Shrimp, with Caesar salad, New England Clam Chowder, and Caramel Cheesecake for dessert. Everything came out fresh and delicious. Again, by no means the world’s best seafood, but for the price, it was way worth it for $ 17. Also, our wait was short and our waitress Ajah was very friendly and helpful. At first, we were skeptical because Red Lobster has a reputation of being overly crowded and bad quality for what it is, but we were pleasantly surprised. With this said, I will be back for the Four Course Feast, lunch specials, and of course, those amazing cheddar bay biscuits.

First time in Red Lobster. I’ll tell you this — you dont have to go to Maryland or Massachusetts to try fresh delicious sea food. One way or another there is Red Lobster which is much closer than family restaurants in those fishermen states. I could imagine that the food would be this incredible. Best of all, sea food makes you feel light and lets you breathe even after full course(if you know what I mean). Don’t look at the eyes of live lobsters swimming in the aquarium. Otherwise you will be like Homer Simpson in the episode when he accidentally boiled his pet-lobster while giving him a bath and then feeling sorry for what he have done with his pet ate him for dinner, «My dear, sweet Pinchy. No more pain where you are now, boy.»

The food is decent but the waiting time is absolutely horrible. I’ve been sitting here for an hour and no food yet. We are stuffed with bread and salad by now so even if the food comes, I’ll just have to take it with me. The waiter didn’t seem very concerned and simply told me the kitchen is backed up although he did give us good service otherwise.

I was obligated to go here for a friend’s birthday. I usually avoid Red Lobster like the plague — I used to work here and I just don’t understand why people would pay so much for such terrible quality. I ordered the Lobster Scampi Linguini which was just horrible. It tasted only of butter and garlic and it totally overpowered the sweetness of the lobster. My boyfriend had the fried shrimp, which honestly, you can never go wrong with. Service was good, but not memorable. Coming back reminded me why I quit and why I hate eating here.

Ok– so I normal avoid this red lobster location like the plague because the service normally sucks. I usually order to pick up only if I’m having a craving for fast seafood. Normally they take forever to pick up the phone, or they get my order wrong or when I go to the bar to pickup my order– no one greets me for a long time. BUT I have to say that the last two times– I was there to pickup an order– the bartender Al has been attentive and I had NO problems — thus the 3 stars — or else it would be one. Service jobs should have people who like to SERVE the public– and be attentive and able to be fast and juggle tasks– just saying. Anyway– If you are looking for a healthier option– they have a wood grilled meal that has lobster, shrimp and salmon. I LOVE scallops and they will substitute the salmon for scallops if u would like(the meal used to be with scallops) — anyway it comes with green beans, baked potato as well as the normal salad and cheese biscuits.

Great place for lunch! I had an AMAZING waitress, Akeenia. I know that’s not it but it started with Akee. She was a beautiful young lady currently in school. She had a lovely personality and restaurants need more waitresses like her. Needless to say we had great service. The food came out fast and the kitchen made on mistake but it was not the fault of anyone else. Not that it was bad. They substituted my french fries for oranges. Now I like fruit so I wasn’t upset. it’s just not what I ordered lol my fries came shortly after bc my waitress caught the mistake according to another worker. Overall… we had lobster specials and they where great!!!

Coming here was a last minute decision. As usual the cheddar bay biscuits were flavorful and buttery, always a favorite. I ordered white wine because it’s a bit hard to water down or mess up a wine. All their mixed drinks taste like smoothies or juice so I avoid being disappointed altogether. I ordered the create your own combo with the stuffed flounder and shrimp linguine. The flounder was ok but then again I’m not a huge fan of flounder to begin with. The linguine could have used more Alfredo sauce but it was tasty regardless. The staff at this particular location has always been helpful and nice so the service makes up for the adequate taste of the food.

Wow. Looking at my old review, it’s time to replace that tiny one with a revamp for my most recent experience. Ready? Here we go, and I’ll even throw in an extra star! We encountered a 10 minute wait before being seated. That waiting time was reasonable. After the wait, we got seated at a comfortable booth. Surprisingly, it took 20 minutes before someone showed up. It took an additional 10 minutes before our drinks showed up. We were thirsty, & waiting 30 minutes in total just to get our drinks(water at minimum) was unacceptable, and the only reason why the maximum rating isn’t warranted. After 20 minutes, our waitress came by, along with the Cheddar Biscuits to start(yum!). She was very cheerful and possessed a positive attitude. She took our orders, and answered our questions regarding some of the entrees without an issue. She even pointed out some popular ones before taking our orders. After waiting for our drinks, the service speed sped up. We got our drinks. We ordered water and the Sunset Passion Colada. Even though it was watered down, it was still really fruity. Our waitress told us that they’ve received a lot of complaints in regards to this drink since they weren’t getting the«buzz». Well, I didn’t complain about that. But if this was in Aruba or on a cruise, then I would. This time, we ordered appetizers to start and share. We started with the lobster pizza. This was a small-to-mid sized thin crust pie that was made up with cheese, lobster & tomato pieces, and some sauce with seasoning. That was good. We also ordered the mozzarella cheese-sticks. It had a fresh taste, not a frozen one. The coating was really crispy on the outside, and the cheese was gooey on the inside. The seasoning that was utilized made the marinara sauce really tangy and tasty, and was perfect for the dipping. Everything here tasted great, and the price was reasonable for the amount we received. All of our entrees came with a salad and unlimited cheddar biscuits. The cheddar biscuits were rich with the cheese flavor and seasoning, and weren’t dry. It was warm and tasted great. We ordered the garden salad with cheddar cheese shavings and croutons. Overall it was okay, even though it was quite clear that the restaurant was skimping down in ingredients as there were less vegetables mixed in than before(lettuce amount was the same). My mom got the Shrimp Festival special, in favor of the Extra Jumbo Garlic-Grilled Shrimp & the Extra Jumbo Sriracha-Grilled Shrimp. The size and amount that she received for the price was reasonable, and she liked it. My dad had the Wood-Grilled Peppercorn Sirloin and Shrimp, with rice pilaf as an inclusive side. He enjoyed his meal, and he let me taste the sirloin, and that tasted great. I had the Parmesan-Crusted Chicken Alfredo. This was almost like a «Haven» for cheese-lovers. The chicken was good, and the crispy, cheesy Parmesan coating made the taste even better. This came with the pasta with Alfredo sauce. The flavor in that sauce was really spot-on. Overall, this was enjoyable. You don’t get any inclusive sides with this entrée. The restaurant itself consisted of numerous table and chair sets and booths. As we walked in, we saw an aquarium filled with live lobsters. Low-key lighting and decorations consistent with fishing in the ocean were existent throughout the restaurant. The ambiance wasn’t loud, and a mix of country and adult contemporary hits played in the background. We didn’t order dessert since the combination of appetizers, biscuits, salads, and entrees filled us up, which was actually a good feeling. Overall this was a very good experience, which was better than our previous one long ago. We hope the service speed speeds up in the future. Also, they don’t serve Spicy Chicken Tortilla Soup anymore. But because of the food, we WILL be back sometime in the future. Cheers! :)
