Blue blue blue!!! The best bartender in the world! He took care of us and went above and beyond to make sure we were served and taken care of all night. Definitely will be back here more often due to his great service. It’s rare you get a Bartender this great on busy nights like this. Thank you for being so great to us blue!

Food was okay, but the drinks were great. Our server’s break was during our visit so we kept being switched to another server, each one better than the first. When we got our original server back, she rarely came to the table. Drinks were expensive($ 15+) but worth it.

We visited Hard Rock Café during this holiday weekend on Valentine’s Day for dinner after a long day at Universal Studios. My family and I were seated after a brief 8 minute wait even though it seemed busy. Our server Monster was very friendly and helpful and checked up on us often. It had been many years since I had been to a Hard Rock Café and I was pleased by the variety on their menu as well as the kid’s menu. I had the The Texan which was a pulled pork sandwich with fried jalepeno and crispy fried onions. I thought it was delicious. I liked that the pulled pork was not overly saturated with the sauce. My wife and kids enjoyed their food as well. Overall, we had an awesome experience! I would come back again.

If this restaurant wasn’t called Hard Rock Café. It would be shut down already. it’s the Bosses nephew of restaurants. food is terrible omg. How they stay in business is a mystery. much like the mystery meat that was on a salad we ordered. Menu Said Chicken. hmm idk.

After a long day at Universal Studios and walking around CityWalk, we were pretty hungry. Hard Rock had the most appealing menu, so we were in there. We were seated pretty much immediately, and our waitress was awesome. She was nice, attentive, and was cracking jokes with us all night. For dinner, I ordered the Cedar Plank Salmon with a side of the Twisted Mac and Cheese. The salmon was good, while the sauce was a little bit more tangy than I expected, I still really liked it. The mashed potatoes were amazing, and the side of broccoli was good as well. The Twisted Mac and Cheese came with chunks of chicken and bell pepper but was sadly kind of bland… I could seriously hardly taste the cheese. Another complaint about dinner was that my stepdad mentioned his steak didn’t come hot enough. For dessert, we tried the Apple Cobbler and Oreo Cheesecake. The Apple Cobbler was okay, although apple desserts don’t fare well with me — I just don’t like em, so don’t take my word on that one! The Oreo Cheesecake though… Damn. So good. This Hard Rock is a great option if you’re at CityWalk — great food, nice employees, and quick service!

The service was just as amazing as the food. I ordered a steak and it was perfect. The waiting time was too long to get our table. Cool place I will come back for sure

Really disappointed. Had been looking forward to having dinner here all day because I love the atmosphere and food. We were seated around 5:15 pm on a Friday and then left alone in a main part of the dining area. Waiters and even the manager passed by us for around 15 minutes and ignored us. We ended up leaving, no drink or food orders were placed and we definitely were feeling«hangry». Needless to say, I’m saddened that their service was nonexistent apart from Rodrigo, the host. Won’t be back anytime soon.

Okay… This was arduous. We get there at 7:30, we are seated, right? We order drinks, wait five for them to come. Cool. We order, I offered the NY Strip. Am told the private party of 50 across the bar took them all. Fair, okay. So, I order the more expensive Cowboy NY Strip at the waiter’s request, instead. We wait 15 minutes watching a few music videos and the busboys hustle by. Our waiter, William, returns with the menu and says that they out of the said Cowboy steak he personally recommended. -.- So you mean we-it is 7:50 because I was looking at my phone when he came back-have to reorder and wait even longer. Five go by when he comes back, I order the rack of ribs instead, and inform him I would be receiving the Oreo cheesecake on the house for the inconvenience. To which he said absolutely. 20 more go by, and the food arrives. My ribs that are«smothered in sauce» were drrryyy. So, I order a side of the sauce. *sigh. I’m already deciding not to come back. Carlos, the«manager», comes by and asks how everything is. When I inform him of some the issues, he takes a seat with us and genuinely listens. I was impressed. I told him the whole story and asked how the inconvenience could be remedied. He said, and I quote«You tell me.» So I asked for the Electric Blues drink in the souvenir glad we were admiring prior. He offered a 20% off instead, but then said«I’all make it happen.» Nice save, Carlos. He grows to so the customer service ‘I wouldn’t have this without you’ bit. I get it, Carlos. We eat, get the drink, and get the check. Its the full price… I wave down William and inform him of the 20%, he replies«Even with the drink, let me check.» He leaves, is gone about two minutes, and returns with the adjustment. Good. Thought I was gonna have to lose my cool, there… So we are leaving when I ask the bartender if it was possible to get our glass dried to take home, he inform that that’s the general use souvenirs that I wouldn’t want, and to go to the shop with our server and get a new one. Awesome. We find Will and ask him to retrieve our glass, to which he says«He gave away a lot…» walking away frustrated to find Carlos. Carlos returns and says smiling that«the drink and glass was either or, but come on.» He further says looking over his shoulder expecting me to say I don’t want to cause any trouble saying«Im quite the dealer man, huh?» I corrected him by saying no, I’m just attentive to words. We collect our glass, and leave. Thought it was over right? I wake up the next morning, they refunded my partners card the charge and put it all on my card that only covered my mojito. They illegally charged me almost $ 64… Trust me, I’m on my phone now, making this meal free. :)

The service at this HRC is shockingly good, which bumps it up a star in our estimation. No fewer than four staff members checked in on us fairly often, and as they smiled and chatted with friendly zest, I got great down-home Midwestern vibes that betrayed the LA tourist trap that it is. I’m still a bit flabbergasted by how peculiarly NICE everyone was… Husband ordered a full rack of ribs, which he devoured and deemed delicious, and I ordered a passable Legendary burger with awful, greasy herbed fries(do not pay the $ 1 upgrade for these fries – just get them plain). To make it to $ 50 to use our $ 10 off Unilocal check-in coupon(!!yay!!), we made the excellent decision to order the molten lava cake, which pitched us into a food coma. Yay for wonderfully friendly service and Unilocal coupons

My family and I enjoyed our time here, especially looking at all the memorabilia on the walls and awesome rotating car! The staff was very friendly & the food was ok. Menu & souvenir shop prices are way to high tho, plus adding in $ 10 just to park. We would love to come back on a regular basis but unfortunately we cannot afford to do so with these prices. All that being said, we would recommend this restaurant to family & friends

Loved coming here for dinner last week. We were seated right away. Our group had great service from our waitress. She was very friendly and got our food out quickly. Everything tasted great. There is some really great memorabilia plastering the walls so it’s a really interesting place to just check out. And it’s smack dab in the middle of city walk. Doesn’t get better than that.

First time we ever been here little busy raining outside service was little slow food was good though I would be here again and I hope it’s a five-star experience next time the decorous great the kids thought it was neat it’s just right across from the theater on CityWalk so if you’re in the area at Universal Studios stop by the hard rock café and enjoy your time in food and atmosphere they also have a gift shop

We decided after a long day at Universal that we would leave and go get something to eat in a place that we never go to. So we desided to try hard rock and to my belief it was very good. Food was hot staff was great. She was quick she was all over the restaurant helping her other tables. We ordered burgers. I ordered the Legendary Burger which was awesome and and had this sauce, Sriracha and mayo, that was awesome. It was mouthwatering; it was so good! I made sure that I dipped my fries in the Sriracha mayo and had to ask for more. I recommend eating here!

High prices for average food and big crowds. That’s what is to be expected when visiting a tourist trap. The highlight of the night was that we walked around and looked at the guitars and stuff but some of them were not protected at all and the autographs were smudged. Bummer! The real thing that irked me was that we came to Universal City walk just to eat her and had to pay for parking, I wasn’t concerned because I figured they would validate. WRONG!

Wow! I haven’t been to a HRC in years. I was impressed with the taste of the items we ordered. The buffalo and bbq wings were amazing. The salads and sandwiches were great as well. My children enjoyed this dining experience. I shall no longer ignore HRCs while I’m traveling for business. Oh, and the service was excellent! Pleasant staff contributed to this excellent dining experience. Lastly, our party of 8 was accommodated rather quickly in-spite of having a full-house. The hosts were exceptional!

UPDATE! Someone at Hard Rock HQ noticed my review and suddenly scramble to make good with a transparent reply — here’s a suggestion: Don’t rip your customers off in the first place and the reviews might be more positive. Not interested in a bribe now thanks, it was never about the money — we wanted good service in the first place not to be treated like idiots. ORIGINAL: We didn’t expect fine dining but my wife & I did expect alcohol in our cocktails! The Long Island Iced Tea was basically a sweet soda. Food was C/C+. We just wanted a bit of fun before a movie, won’t be returning.

This location is on Hollywood City Walk. With all the options of food and drink it was hard to decide. I had a group of 8, and we needed to eat before Halloween Horror Nights. To our surprise this place had 20% off if you showed them your tickets. Any discount to me is great. The food is pretty standard but very diverse and can accommodate pretty much anyone’s craving or preference. The specialty drinks we had were delicious. Service was good.

Similar to any Hard Rock, this location had a great menu, but prices are a little on the high side. The quality of food is very good. If the price scares you don’t worry, the quality and taste will be apparent. The mixed drinks are also a little pricey, but their milkshakes are amazing. Service was very good as well. This hard rock location is always busy, but the server took care to keep us happy. He was very knowledgable and the experience was pleasant. In would recommend visiting this Hard Rock if you have a chance. It’s LA, you never know who may be sitting at the bar!

I have mixed emotions about this place. I’ve never been a major fan of Hard Rock Café, but this is a nice place to hang out or have drinks in Citywalk. Sitting outside people watching on a nice day is interesting. All the while, service wasn’t the greatest the last few times I was there. Drinks and food are okay, but a bit overpriced if you ask me. I like the salads, nonetheless. There’s cool memorabilia on the walls and inside if that kind of stuff excites you. For tourists, this place would be a hit.

I didn’t technically eat here, but HRC provided us a venue this past Thursday for our blogging conference. We were actually at the HRC Hollywood/Highland the next day, I like this one a little better — more of an «open» format. There are 2 floors, and we were on the 2nd floor; bathrooms are on the first floor. There’s a elevator as well, since the steps are kind of tiring(or, if you can’t use the steps). They gave us sandwiches, chips, and drinks for lunch, which were basic but pretty tasty still. Thanks HRC for hosting us!

Solid location with consistent service in the very busy Citywalk. I’ve been here multiple times and have never needed to wait more than five minutes for a table. The inside of this Hard Rock Café is plastered with the required memorabilia, so there’s always something interesting to look at. Aside from the visual overload, everything is clean and well-kept. I recommend the BBQ Chicken, Chicken Tenders, and Ribs. All excellently seasoned and delicious. Prices are a little high, but that’s to be expected at Citywalk.

Wow… it’s been a long time since I went to Hard Rock Café. We were at Universal City Walk and I remembered Hard Rock Café’s burger was not bad. Ordered sangria, Cuban burger and original legendary burger. Sangria: choice of red or white with fresh fruit and tropical juices. I picked the red one and I didn’t like what I tasted. The waiter was nice enough to exchange it with a different drink. Watermelon cooler: tropical juices and finest Call watermelon purée mixed with Limon rum and Bacardi superior rum. The watermelon cooler was just okay, but it was much better than the sangria. Cuban burger: smothered with mojo-marinated pulled pork, melted Swiss cheese and sweet plantains, finished with yellow mustard, pickle chips, crisp lettuce and vine-ripened tomato, served with seasoned fries. It sounded good but it didn’t taste that great. The burger was served borderline cold and I couldn’t really taste the plantain. I had to eat the plantain separately to really enjoy the taste. They were just trying to hard to impress with a different burger but the combination was a mess. Original legendary burger($ 15.95): half pound of certified angus beef burger topped with smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, golden fried onion ring, crisp lettuce vine-ripened tomato. It was better than the Cuban burger, but it was meh and was also served cold. The parmesan fries were good though… Our waiter, Jeff, was awesome. He was polite, helpful and knowledgeable. He exchanged my sangria to a different drink when he saw that I was disappointed. The manager, Donald, was great too. He took care of the problem right away by offering a new burger to replace the cold one. We politely declined the offer even though he insisted on cooking a new one. SUMMARY: SUCKYFOOD + GREATSERVICE. That is too bad because I remember liking HRC’s burger. Maybe my tastebud changed… Maybe it was not good that day. 2 stars for Jeff and Donald. QUICKTIP: FREEPARKINGVALIDATIONBUTYOUHAVETOPARKATTHEVALETPARKING. Hard Rock Café is not yummylicious!
