First, the bleacher type seating was very tight on your legs and they were slightly angled downwards and a little low… Not the most comfortable position to be in for a twenty minute show. They showed some stunt men, some old movie clips, took some people out of the audience to do a couple of scenes… a sound effects scene and a horror scene with blood. And one more astronaut wire scene where they pull him up on cables, etc. the best part was when they put one guy on fire for 20 seconds and then out the fire out. I think little kids would enjoy it more… The parents can get out of the sun and take a break from walking around all day.

The Special Effects show at Universal is one of the MUSTSEE stops at the park, especially if you have children with you. Without spoiling it too much, the cute production walks you through some movie magic and how Hollywood uses special effects to create the movies of yesterday and today. The show is about 30 minutes long and is loads of fun for all ages. 5 stars!
