Its a cute little punk rockabilly botique store with the most adorbale clothes for adults as well as kids. The employees are kind and the sercice is very very good. but watch out for the prices! This place is NOT cheap! I wanted to get a dress but i am not paying over a hundered dollars for a dress. whether is a pin up dress or a romper of some sort. They do give out little«fink dollars» ten dollars to be exact, which helps a little when you want to come into this neat store and purchase something. I like coming here but i dont come in as often as i’d like because some of their prices just scare me away.

Devil City kind of reminds me of a Hot Topic that grew up, got a job, and ditched the wallet chains and neon everything for well-made, stylish clothing that still gets the point across. They kept the sub-culture but 86’d the angst. My only gripe with Devil City is that it’s a little on the pricier side… but I guess that’s just what happens when you’re selling awesome clothes. It’s like Express for non-conformist rebel types. They have sexy vintage pin-up style dresses for the ladies. Walking through the store I found myself wondering how quickly I could get my woman into(and subsequently out of) one of them. It’s owned by the same people that own Iron Age and that makes me happy. Some of the owner’s designs are even on the custom tees they sell. The customer service here is great too. Helpful, but kept their distance, and when I was balking at spending $ 36 on a t shirt, I was promptly offered $ 10 off. Sold!

My wife, Terri, and I stopped in Devil City on Friday, 5⁄20 and were thrilled with everything the store had to offer. Rarely does St. Louis have access to edgy fashions with attitude in a venue that offers the same. But from the retro chic surroundings to the perfect style of retail assistance(helpful but not pushy) to high quality garments, Devil City delvers! Warning: If you’re a Molly Milquetoast cul de sac type, just hop in the minivan and keep going to Ann Taylor. This isn’t your speed. But if you appreciate truly wonderful clothing from makers like PinUp Girl and Schott(yes, we have a great place to buy the world’s finest leather jackets in the UCity Loop) then check it out. Devil City has only been open a week or two. They’re gradually stocking. But from what we saw from their first offerings, this is the kind of store St. Louis needs. We’ll be back. We’ll keep spending. And we’re proud to support businesses who understand that there’s a market that demands more than cookie-cutter crap!!! Thanks for opening such a great store!!!
