The place is great to have your fill of the common, delicious Filipino dishes. They offer a very wide array of selection! However, I am sad to find out that they have ceased the Brunch. I surely hope they do this again or open another venue.

I cannot believe I haven’t reviewed this place yet. I’ve come here at least a half dozen times since they have opened. The variety of Filipino food that is offered is a good representation of some of the popular dishes from the Philippines. When you see dried fish and lechon on the table, then you know you’ve come to the right place! I took my husband here before our trip to the Philippines as a great culinary«warm up» and he loves it. Pros: plenty of seating! Great selection of authentic food and abundant smiles. Cons: prices can vary around holidays! It’s also a bit steep but to be honest, can be well worth it. They’re only open on Sundays so if you’re craving kare kare, good luck. Tips: wear stretchy pants and don’t be afraid to try everything! If you have a big party, make sure you call to make reservations(sometimes they won’t pick up right away, just leave a message and your number).

The only reason I’m doing 4 stars instead of 5 stars with an exclamation point after it is because of the price. It’s kinda costly, but you do get a wide variety of excellent, excellent food. I’m half Filipino and grew up with some of these foods. Some others were brand new to me. Everything was good, and the non Filipinos that came with me loved the place, too. There were sooo many desserts to choose from, but I didn’t get to try any, because I filled up too quickly on other stuff. Of things I got to try before I got full, would recommend: Lumpia Shanghai Pancit Bihon Chicken Adobo Palabok Pork Kabobs Garlic Rice

AMAZING… The wife and I made the trip from Scott last Sunday for brunch after reading about Kamayan in the paper, and it was so worth the drive. They had everything we were looking for except for crispy pata, but we heard the menu changes so we’ll be back for sure. Adobo with the garlic rice was my favorite, and fried chicken fish and lumpia was so tasty. If you like Filipino food you will love Kamayan.

Brunch on Sunday morning is the best place to get Filipino Cuisine. More dishes than you can imagine from all over the Philippines. Great people.

Always looking for the best filipino food, tried all the food trucks, old filipino retaurants. This one so far the best one. The price is worth it for the taste and variety. This is my second time and will come back again.

Nothing can ever compare to Lola’s cooking but I was happy to have found this spot. Too bad only open for 4 hours on Sunday. I do have to say their sinigang was pretty amazing!!! Service also excellent! I hope they are able to stick around though. I think it will be tough with such a large real estate to rent and have a full operation for a once a week use. I also thibk it is on the expensive side. I suggest they modify any of their individual servings to be more bite sized pieces vs an actual whole serving. ie the dessert. There was so much more I wanted to eat but just didn’t have room for and I hated to waste food. Would have loved to have halo halo but I could barely breathe after 2 trips to the buffet. And lastly, may I suggest having out patis and vinegar/garlic for the lumpia shanghai… and any other accoutrements Filipino must have. Though when I asked for patis, they gladly gave me some. Yummy! Lechon was sarap too! I do think they would do very well as a standard order business model and in a smaller space.

I have really missed Filipino food and I have tried to recreate some at home but there’s always something missing as far as getting them to taste authentic. I started looking around for a place nearby with some sort of Filipino food and found this place! The only problem is, it’s only open on Sundays for brunch and I happen to work every Sunday. Since this weekend is a holiday weekend for me, I decided to make it a 5-day weekend and take Sunday off and have the opportunity to try this place out finally! I wanted to try everything but alas, my stomach can only hold so much. I tried their pancit, bistek(beef in some yummy dark sauce), pork adobo, lumpia, embutido, some eggplant dish, a pork dish that reminded me so much of a common dish served during an event called fiesta in the Philippines, and some fried fish. I have to say, this place is spot on as far as being authentic. For dessert, I tried some halo halo with everything(of course!), some leche flan, and a puto(pretty sure it was steamed) which was magenta in color and it tasted like it had an ube flavor to it but I could be wrong. Anyway, I love this place and the food gives me a nice reminder of my heritage. I wish I could come back some other Sunday but unless I take a nice, long break to come here and have lunch, it’s just not likely. I do recommend this place if you are looking to try some authentic Filipino food. Most of their clientele today are Filipino so that can’t be a bad thing right?

Buffet at $ 24.95 include OJ, Iced Tea and coffee(free refill). As good it can be for Filipino foods. Usually when the paid is below $ 15 quality and selection is ok. For 24.95 the selection are very extensive and change every week. The staple and are there like Lechon(roast pig), Pork barbecue, Halo– halo. Since Kamayan open only once a week, Foods are new and fresh.

This was my first time trying food from the Philippines. It was exceptionally good. My Favorite were the papaya pickle, flan, chicken and raw papaya soup, dried fish and the halo halo. I loved the experience of different textures and flavors. The ambience, the servers dressed in traditional wear, the earthen pots make you feel like you are in the Philippines. Staff is very kind and courteous as well. The buffet is a bit too pricy and it is hard for people who haven’t tried Filipino food before to shell that much money not knowing what to expect. We were planning to go with two friends and they both backed out because Of the price. Not a place for vegetarians. It’s worth every penny for meat lovers.
