This place is amazing! The view, of course, is impecable! The service is amazing and the food is delicious! I have eaten here a few times and the seafood Cobb is super tasty! The ribeye is one of the best I’ve ever had and the Flatbread with chicken and pineapple chili glaze is a great(less fancy) meal… it’s like a personal pizza. I also like there Fay sandwich for lunch… it’s full of meat! Yum! It might be a little out of the way but it’s so worth it!

I had the best mixed greens with berries & hazelnut salad, the dressing, house made is the best dressing I’ve ever had. Craving it right now.

Lovely view, just wish there were more windows in the nondescript dining room. Very friendly service and food was expected brunch fare that hit the spot! Would certainly stop again for a meal to soak in the view from the deck.

First time at this restaurant for breakfast. The waiter was awesome and very attentive. I ordered eggs florentine. The egg yolks were hard but I like them that way. Food was bland and hollandaise sauce was tasteless and not the look or consistency of what I am used to. Beautiful view of the golf course.

I write this review only after having dined here three times in the past month. I am relatively well traveled throughout the world and have experienced amazing food in beautiful locations. While this Chambers Bay Grill may not be among the top 1%, it is certainly up there. First, the ambience. It is a relatively small dining room with an understated décor. There is a bar at the back end with a few TV monitors showing mostly golf(remember, this restaurant is part if a wirld class golf course). The opposite sides of the room have large windows overlooking South Puget Sound. Needless to say, the afternoons and evenings can be spectacular as the restaurant faces west and one has a breathtaking view of the sunset over the Olympic Peninsula. The dining room is clean with tablecloth’s and candles on the tables. While not overly embellished with unnecessary and distracting décor, the dining room I think strikes the perfect balance between utility and a visually relaxing atmosphere. The service on my three visits has been top notch. The wait staff has been attentive, returnin to the table at least twice times during the meals to check on us, always keeping the glasses filled with water to the brim. They were friendly without being intrusive. I don’t see what else one could ask for. The food also met my high expectations. I’ve had salads, burgers, steaks and seafood. All were well done with generous although not excessively large portions. Seasoning was«right on» and I disagree with other reviewer’s who claime that the food is bland. Prices are about average for this area of Washington State. You will spend a little bit less patronizing restaurants such as Applebee’s, but of course the quality of the food would also be much lower and you would have nowhere near the beautiful dining experience that the Chambers Bay Grille provides with its spectacular views of Puget Sound. Parking is free, ample and never crowded. Overall, this establishment deserves five stars and I will continue to patronize them in the future. Thank you for reading.

Sitting outdoors and eating on a nice day is 4 stars. Inside feels like you are in some storage room converted into a restaurant. Food is pretty good, but not a wide selection.

We’ve had breakfast here several times. The food is always excellent the service is excellent and the view is spectacular. What more can I say. No exceptions. We attended my brother-law’s wedding reception here in February and again, everything was excellent

Excellent menu(varies seasonally) with expansive views and wonderful, warm sunsets on the deck. Service attentive, but never pesty. Do not miss current calamari prep or clam chowder w/dill(cup-bowl’s a meal!) Appetizer spare ribs are a meal + take home! Our ‘Cheers!’

French fries were delicious, we got there before lunch and it was quiet, by the en of our meal it was packed house, the fish was good, not the best I have had but it was good. The Ceasar Salad was average. The view was incredible. I bet this place on a summer sunset sitting outside on the porch must be very romantic. The staff people was great and friendly.

Super accommodating and friendly staff. We had a group doing some early morning running yesterday morning and were supposed to have breakfast after. Our original plan fell apart so we decided to ask if they could host us all here on short notice for breakfast at around 7:15. The one server who was working said of course and offered to make room for all of us without batting an eye. I asked again just to confirm they could host all of us without being too much on the kitchen etc and he said«no problem». Everyone loved the food! My egg white omelet with mushrooms and spinach was delicious and the portions were more than generous. I could only eat half of my plate and for a ten dollar meal it was quite the value. One of my friends saw the portion of the hash browns and said you«order them by the foot», lol. I didn’t have any, but everyone said the bacon was the best! I’ve been wanting to try this place for years and thankfully our split second decision to stop in turned out to be a great breakfast for us all. Thanks for the hospitality!

I came to Chambers Bay to run around and stopped here for breakfast. I was not expecting much since this is a golf course restaurant. WOW! The breakfast is amazing! Yes… it has a cafeteria look and the view is amazing…

My boyfriend and I came here because the view looked amazing on Unilocal. We ordered nachos. They looked like they were done 2 days ago. The meat was cold and the cheese was hard. After eating a couple of nachos my boyfriend’s stomach and mine began to hurt and felt like throwing. Honestly it’s not worth coming here even for the view! Save your money go some place nice! Will not be coming back!!!

Beautiful view from almost all seats! I’ve been here for breakfast after walking the loop at Chambers Bay. I decided to stop in for lunch last Monday with a girlfriend. Chambers Bay Grill is one of the few places that sells Blackberry pie(my fave!!) However, I was disappointed because they were all sold out! They have a short lunch menu to which I ordered the seafood salad(yum) and my friend ordered the sliders. The food, ambiance and service was really good. This place is perfect for those days during the week when you find yourself off from work and have nothing else to do.

Visiting from California, after our walk we(family and friends) wanted to grab appetizers and drinks. it took 3 servers to tell us they were getting our table ready, but after waiting 15 minutes(mind you place was not busy and visible tables were available) a family of 4 comes up and waits 5 mins and gets seated! Of course it upset all Of us, so we left very very upset! I don’t know but maybe our skin color was brown?!

Food is mediocre at best. Inside the resteraunt was a huge disappointment. I expected a classier feel for some reason. View is amazing as to be expected. Server was great. Over priced.

Comfortable, scenic outdoor seating after a grueling round of golf! Service was friendly, though a little slow. The fish tacos were ok. Order came with 3, including chips and salsa. While the fish was generous, there really wasn’t much flavor to them(topped with a corn relish, sour cream & cojita cheese). While the food and drink prices were reasonable for the caliber of golf course this place is connected to, the fish tacos were a little steep for what you got($ 15). Worth having an adult beverage here after your round to help forget the bad shots!

Mediocre food; drinks OK; very nice staff. View is not optimized inside by the small high windows. Have to find a better chef before the Open or if they want us to come back. We’ve made many tries but it never gets better. And who thought it was smart to put the bar where it is? Geez… A consistent disappointment.

Three stars for the food. Three stars for the service. Three stars for the value. One hundred and fourteen stars for the view. This place was a gravel pit until five years ago. Now it’s a genuinely world-class golf course(well, the restaurant isn’t, but it’s part of the course, and I don’t golf, so I can’t review the course). The US Open will be here in 2015. The transformation is incredible. Lots of marketing departments say their business is world class at whatever it does, but this golf course really is. Why does this matter in the context of the restaurant? Because there’s really no point in coming here unless you sit outside where you can see Fox Island, the Sound, and the links. Well, you could eat here after finishing a round, but you probably wouldn’t be reading online reviews if you did. For someone coming in just for the food without golf, get a reservation for outside on a nice day. The islands and the water are spectacular. The old-world-style golf links are at your feet; the people are so far down the hill they look like ants. Beyond them are the Olympics, the Kitsap Peninsula, and everything in between. The food is forgettable. Hot and cold sandwiches, a couple soups, salads with and without proteins added. There’s a steak, a couple pasta dishes, a couple chicken and turkey things. Safe choices for the broadest possible audience. The reuben was OK. The meat was kinda stringy and gristly, and it had to be the soggiest reuben in the history of the solar system. They did have a soup du jour, which the server explained was«arroz con polio.» This is actually so adorable that it doesn’t even matter how lavishly it confirms the fact that the staff isn’t here to learn anything at all about food. It’s funny and cute, period. The whole thing was fumbling like that throughout – make a reservation for three, and they’re happy to announce they set the table already… but they forget one setting. The silverware doesn’t match; some of the other serving vessels don’t match. Coffee mugs sit empty for ten minutes; iced tea glasses and water glasses sit empty for ten minutes. But it doesn’t matter. They’re just kids, they’re learning as they go. They’re running the whole time, and you’re drinking in an absolutely magnificent 220-degree saltwater view the whole time. Relax and enjoy it.
