This place is terrible. They openly talk about their customers once they leave. Very rude and unprofessional. I will not be returning here ever again

The way I was greeted here made me not feel welcomed at all. Workers that looked like customers cause they were hanging out on the couch with their iPads just starred at me as I walked in. They didn’t say a word. I asked if they worked here, they said yes. I asked if they were open and they said yeah why wouldn’t we be. I told them cause they were looking at me crazy and one of the ladies said«don’t you think that’s a crazy thing your asking if the OPEN sign is on». The only reason I decided to go through with their waxing service was cause I was on lunch and it was 10 $ to get brow and lip. RUDEWORKERS.

Best pedicure hands down, they do a scrub, paraffin wax, and hot stones. The shop doesn’t have a strong acrylic smell and they just bought new massage chairs.

This place was horrible. From the moment I walked in the ladies were rude. Didn’t even attempt to talk to me. The establishment itself was run down and most of the chairs were worn. The lady that I had cut my toe and didn’t even apologize. Then did a horrible job painting gel on my nails that stuck to my fingers. When I asked her to fix them she snipped off a bit of the nail and said«you good». She could obviously tell I was upset with my service and nails then all she said was $ 40. This all happened while the four ladies working only chatted to each other in their native tongue and giggled. I will NEVER go back and recommend you don’t go either.(I usually go to lotus nails on 67th street, they are amazing)

This place sucks! The women are very rude, and when your nail breaks within a day, they have the audacity to charge you… I have never had broken nails, but after going here a few times, they always break! Most decent places will fix for free… one nail repaired, polish change= 10.00…when a entire fill with polish is 15.00 makes NO sense! I won’t be back

The ladies are blatantly rude! No smiles. no greetings… angry look on their faces the entire time. She only spoke whwn it was time for me to pay. The atmosphere is very uncomfortable. will not return.

I’m not a regular at nail salons however after reading a few reviews I can’t help but think they get a couple of freebies for their reviews. First of all customer service is absolutely terrible, one employee totally had an attitude. They didn’t seem to give a —- about making you feel comfortable. It was as if you we’re getting a FREE mani or pedi and they did not seem to care about repeat business. I was there for almost an hour and my manicure was still not done because they left to attend to other customers, I suspect there’s some discrimination as well. I had to leave for an appt with unpolished nails. No smiles what so ever, not sure why anyone would return to a place with terrible service and let’s face it there are lots of competitors out there, almost every block is a nail salon. United we should expect better service in exchange for our busienss regardless of how much we ‘re paying we did not set the PRICE an it’s NOTFREE.

I got a gel manicure here on Wednesday(three days ago) for 25 $. The next day, my lavender purple nails started turning pale green in splotches. It wasn’t too noticeable so I waited to see what would happen. Today, Saturday, most of my finger nails are solid green splotches. I was told the gel would last 2 weeks, and that they would fix chips within a week of appointment date. I went in to ask for it to be fixed. First I was told the nail polish I chose(number 52 on their gel chart, «alter ego» color name) turns colors. The sample nail was solid purple. I asked to see the bottle. Surprise: it had no mention of color changes. The manicurist said it wasn’t her fault and that I had to pay 15 $ for new color. I said it wasn’t my fault either, that I wasn’t told it would turn green, and that I was promised it would last 2 weeks. One woman chimed in that 13 $ was the best they could offer because it had been a week. I said«no, it has been three days.» After a lot of this I was offered 10 $ fix and a 45 minute wait. As a customer, I trust that you use high quality brands. I was told that my at home chemical use must have been to blame – let me tell you, my home is chemical free. I use Castile soap, and wash my hair with baking soda. I’m not exaggerating when I say my hands haven’t touched chemicals. No matter whose fault it is, as a customer with a complaint in a reasonable window of time, I should be helped. It isn’t fair to make me argue and haggle in front of a room of other customers, while various employees yell across the room why I’m in the wrong. Needless to say, I will never come back. They wouldn’t even take off the polish. Beware: you get what you pay for, and any mistakes will be an additional cost to you!

LOVE this place! I don’t know of anywhere else you can get a pedicure with paraffin dip, massage and hot stones for $ 25. The ladies are always friendly and it’s pretty darn clean.

After reading the good reviews I decided to give this place a try, now I see why the pedi/mani is only $ 35. This place does not live up to the hype. The massage chairs are absolutely horrible! The chair kept moving on its own and the massage didn’t work. When I brought this up she just ignored me. My chair reeked of bleach and it was not the cleanest nail salon. The manicurist rushed through my appointment in order to take a walkin. My favorite part of a manicure is the hand and arm massage and they get 0 stars for it.

The worst thing about moving is trying to find a great pedicure! I saw the reviews on Unilocal and made an appointment back in September. I’ve been going — at least once a month and sometimes 2x — ever since. I usually walk in and the most I’ve had to wait is 10 minutes. When I do make an appointment they take me right away. The $ 35 mani-pedi is worth at least the $ 60 – 80 I’ve paid in the past. They take their time to really make sure you’re feet and nails are clean and healthy. Plus, they include the paraffin dip, which I love. The massage chairs are great too — and they all work! Don’t expect a whole lot of conversation though. The ladies here aren’t chatty — at least in English — but they completely understand what you want if you have special requests. Don’t be shy about asking. And I always have flowers on my toes — they do a great job with other designs too. I’ve even turned a few friends into fans — they come down from Seattle for a little girl time. Parking can be tricky when the Precision Tune next door is busy but I’ve always found a spot. And La Forza coffee is on the other side. Perfection.

Been waiting to review this GEM of an establishment, so here goes!!! My referral to this place was by the neighboring business, Precision Tune, funny right? One of the girls who works in the office raved about the pedicures they gave and I finally gave it a try when I dropped by vehicle off for a scheduled maintenance… BOY oH BOY was I in for a treat!!! Mani/Pedi is $ 35 which is a great deal, considering all that is included. I like to say that I am a seasoned veteran of nail shops;) The shop is very clean and spacious, they have modern tables and chairs, all pedicures are done in the chairs. They include parrafin on both manicures and pedicures, massage and also hot stones! NO extra charge!!! I prefer to get my services done by Mimi, who is the owner but they are all seasoned and skilled. It has been about 3 years that I have been going here now and I have a handful of friends that followed along in my devotion to this establishment. Unfortunately alot of other customers have found this gem as well, which I am happy for Mimi but it can get pretty busy and hard to get in and out. I recommend going during the week and to stay away from Saturdays or else you will be in there all day, other than that I have nothing but GOOD, I should GREAT things to say about Gorgeous Nails:)

I was referred to this nail salon by a friend. They are always busy which shows they are good at what they do. The customer service here is wonderful! The quality of service is outstanding! It is worth the 45 minute drive for me. The nails look so natural, manicures and pedicures are of quality and look and feel amazing! Thanks ladies for being so wonderful!
