Baker’s

The food came out extremely greasy and they messed up our order. When ordering through drive thru they kept messing up our order when repeated so we had a feeling our order was gonna get messed up anyway. Also, the people behind the intercom didn’t seem like she was having a great day. We didn’t feel very welcome.

I’ve been trying this Bakers off and on since it opened, and I have finally given up. Went in to order deal of the day. Two burritos. 1.79 each. I was charged 3.88. Which is basically the price of 2 burritos. I received one. Let me back up a little bit. When I pulled up to the drive-​thru window, I sat for 5 minutes and nobody acknowledged me. My burrito was handed to me and the door was closed on me. I checked my order. When one was missing, I tried to get the person’s attention that was sitting on the other side of the window. They pretended like I wasn’t there. I tapped my horn politely. Finally she opened the window and asked what the problem was. I said I paid for two burritos. She started to argue with me about it but stopped. When I told her I ordered two she tried to charge me for a second burrito. Without the coupon. So I was being charged full price for two burritos. I just politely ask for my money back. I will never come back. Why do I constantly have problems redeeming deal of Day coupons?

The menu was confusing because of the pricing. There was a list of «papas menu» and «mamas menu» and each menu had lists of type of foods. One menu said all the types of food were $ 7+ and the other was $ 6+ which my friends and I didn’t think was worth it. For one thing, two tacos, fries and a drink was definitely not worth $ 7. I got a taco burger with fries and a drink and I was surprised by the size. The burger was so small you could finish it in a few bites and I paid $ 6.79. I also ordered larger fries but it could pass as medium size. The quality of the food was good though, especially the taco burger; I didn’t expect it to taste good and the fries tasted really fresh. But overall, I wouldn’t come here because of the pricing and the proportions of the food.

I love bakers tacos! the tomato and ground beef separates them from all the others. The girl in the drive was rude and all 4 of my tacos were weak that didn’t add a fresh slice of tomato it was more like a piece they found. Very disappointed I will make sure I avoid this location

This Baker’s skimps on their portions. If I wanted a taco with only a few sprinkles of cheese I would go to DT. Even when you ask while placing an order to please make sure they actually put cheese on your taco instead of a few sprinkles they do not do it. It doesn’t help to pay the $ 0.50 for extra cheese as they still don’t give you much extra. This has happened on almost every visit I’ve had to this location. I still love bakers just this location is not up to the standard of this food chain.

Stopped here on the way to vegas. It was just meh. I wasn’t expecting much.
Burger was ok… only a tad better than a McDonald’s burger. But the lettuce and tomato were so nasty and soggy. Why would you put that on a burger?!
The fries were nice and hot but needed salt.
Overall…i won’t go out of my way to come back.

Messed up order three times in two weeks, 3 out of 3 times.
I didn’t ask for anything special or difficult. Just a hamburger and not cheeseburger. Other times they would forget to include the fries.
One guy read my order back and I corrected him. He said alright and read the incorrect order back to me again. I corrected him one more time and he seemed to get it. Then I received the wrong order and was charged for the difference.
They need to have better management and avoid hiring unqualified servers.

Girl repeated my order but when I got home got it all wrong. She asked me if I wanted ketchup and hot sauce I added mustard and did not get one sauce. I also believed I power sized and was charged for it but I don’t remember getting a receipt. I’ll be back to give this girl a training session.

Just drove through here to get some breakfast. Told the gal 3 times what we wanted. They messed up the order completely… charged us for stuff we didn’t get, and gave us an expired orange juice. The two stars is only for the barbacoa. it was quite tasty!

In my opinion better than in n out any day. This new location was friendly and quick. Also very clean had the papa #1 was on point. Crispy lettuce, gooey cheese, tomatoes cut evenly every time. My guilty pleasure on cheat day.

I tried the burger and fries. I thought they were ok. Nothing special to distinguish them from other burger joints.

Im really happy this place opened up. The customer service was excellent and the food was delicious.

I guess this place just opened up here and just like any new restaurant everyone is new and gonna have to get into the swing of things.
I had the Barbacoa Quesadilla and Taco Burger came with fries, both were pretty good, the burger would have been better if meat was just a little bit hotter (not spicy) but temperature. Quesadilla was good and hot. Fries were ok, again hotter.
Reminds me of a place in Norwalk called Taco Joe, and the «Joe Burger».
All in All not a bad place, just get the temperature up on the meat.

I’m really confused about why this opened when Legends is in the same lot. I mean, I guess the food is okay because it’s open late.

People are friendly and the food is good, not great but would get a higher rating from me. They charge for drink refills. Nobody charges for refills anymore. Especially next to a college campus where all your customers are used to getting them free. So in exchange for the 50 cents you made, you lost a potential regular customer. Worth it?

I love Baker’s!
This one is by far the nicest and friendliest one I’ve ever been to. Everyone greets you when you walk in and when you leave. They always have a nice person serving your food and offering to get you anything else u may need even though the condiment bar is right there. The food is always great! They’ve messed up my order once and they gave us free fries for their mistake which I thought was sweet even though it wasn’t a big deal to us. Highly recommend this Baker’s over any other in the area!

This place is so good! It just opened by my place and I’ve been really wanting to try it. They have a combination of American and Mexican food kind of like Del Taco, but it’s 100x better. All of the meat is fresh and never froze. I really recommend trying it, if you haven’t.

This Baker’s just open up and is I think the furthest east to LA County. The food is good and not to expensive. Its a good mix of Burgers, Mexican and other classic American food they even have a vegetarian menu with fake meat. They have a Taco Tuesday and I would take advantage of the coupons they offer. I really enjoy the Barbaco meat in a burrito or quesadilla. Shakes I hear are good but have not tried but I will be back.
