Christy’s Donuts

I have been to donut shops before and this donut shop by far has been excellent in location, service, and quality of food.
In regards to location, it is part of a shopping center location with ample parking. I found parking immediately. I was able to get in and out quickly.
On the service, it was extraordinary. I was greeted upon entry to the store with a smile by an older lady. She was ready for my order. Typically, a first impression is made by first contact via greeting, attention, and customer service. She made my day by giving me the customer the attention.
This is a family business and not a corporate run donut shop. Photos showing their family are posted on the wall like all small businesses that share their family.
A man had come into the donut shop 5 minutes ago and he was recognized immediately though he had suggested that it had been awhile since he had been there. This is customer service recognizing your customers and welcoming them again.
Their food has various types of donuts from chocolate cake donuts, cake donuts, glazed twist, glazed donuts, jalapeño ham and cheese croissant, plain bagels, blueberry muffins, donut holes, Apple fritter, cinnamon roll, and more delicious donuts.
The drinks are fountain sodas, soda cans such as Pepsi, Dr Pepper, etc., Gatorade, milk, chocolate milk, orange juice, coffee, and many more.
My real treat was the real strawberries and cream in a glazed donut. It was delicious with a chocolate milk to drink it down with.
This donut shop is a hidden gem in the city of Upland, CA.

By far the absolute best donuts east of the 605 freeway!!! Never greasy! The apple fritter will last you all day; crunchy outside soft inside with just the right amount if apples.

I wasn’t especially impressed. The selection was limited, compared to other places in the area. The customer service was nice, but again the selection. It was around 8:30, 9am when I got there.

Next door to what appears to be a popular local breakfast spot, Christy’s donuts sort of blends in to the strip mall façade in which it resides. The small, vaguely-​themed shopping center did Christy’s the honor of placing several unsightly newspaper racks and machines right in front of the store. We’re it not for the utter lack of Donut shops east of there in Foothill for several miles, we likely would have kept on driving.
As it was, arriving at 11:30 am with my eight year old son on a Saturday, we had a better chance of finding turn signal use in Arcadia than much of a donut selection in the case. But the boy opted for a big gooey cinnamon roll, I ordered up a plain old fashioned with a coffee, and we were five dollars poorer and several calories richer.
What makes this a 4 star donut shop? The kid working there! Absolutely one of the nicer donut shop proprietors I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with my kid. He asked him questions, made small talk in an appropriate way, and was very patient and kind.
We don’t happen down this stretch of Foothill all too often… Just the occasional jaunt to BassPro when the freeways are a disaster, or I just want a little quality father-​son time.
Of course, I saw this sweet ride next to my truck, and that, in and of itself, merits a for star rating.

I’ve been to Christy’s a few times already and I can’t say that there is anything special about the donuts. One donut that stood out because it was something different, was a donut sliced down the middle stuffed with what looked like whip cream and strawberries.
Last time I was there I stood in line with a few people ahead Of me and when it was my turn the older lady (who looks like she may be the owner) said the man behind me was here first and took his order. If that was really the case, by all means go ahead but it wasn’t. It just so happened that as I was walking towards the donut shop, this gentleman was walking out and away. Few minutes later he returned and stood behind me in line.
Every customer deserves appreciation and respect regardless of age or sex. Everyone can smile but still be rude. Because of this situation I won’t go back.

I am very picky when it comes to Donuts, tried many places and i have to say, by far they are my favorite, great service, great selection, clean environment, i will be back most definitely.

Donuts are donuts but I love coming to Christy’s. They are so friendly and are always so helpful.

I never thought I’d review a donut place. After all, donuts are extremely unhealthy and they all more or less taste like the same sugary mess. However, after visiting Christy’s Donuts today, I felt compelled to rave about my excellent experience!
I came in today to pick up three mixed dozens for my students on the second to last day of school. When I arrived, the shop was empty and I was assisted immediately. The lady who put together my order was SO NICE! After telling her I was picking up donuts for my students, she put an extra donut in each box, so it was like getting three bakers dozens. She even gave me an extra donut of my choice on top of that! That way, I didn’t delve into the students’ stash :) After paying for my order I was on my way, and I knew right away I would be writing a review.
Now, if you’re wondering about the price, here is my response: I try to avoid buying donuts so I’m not sure what a «good» price is, but for three bakers dozens (13 donuts) and a donut of my choice for me (I chose an apple fritter) I paid $ 26.75 — that’s including a 50 cent credit card fee, so when you break it down each dozen was $ 8.75…whether or not that’s a good price for three mixed dozens, I do not know, but I certainly found it to be reasonable, especially with the added freebies. If you’re wondering about the taste — they tasted fine, really no better or worse than any other fresh donuts (I came in the morning) I have had, but maybe just a tad better because of the awesome service.
If you’re in need of donuts in Upland, definitely give Christy’s a try — it is a fantastic model of what an amazing small business should look like!

Love Christys donuts they are always fresh in the mornings and not expensive! Love their glazed donuts and twist! The crumb ones also! Delicious! Their croissants are so good ask to warm it it taste better! Kids love the donut holes! Overall good!

Mostly all the donut shops are the same. They offer the same selections and very similar pricing. I needed something to eat after my doctors appointment near by and grabbed a bagel & muffin for roughly $ 3.65. With that said Christy’s stood out because of the very welcoming and friendly service. I’d definitely say give this local spot some of your business!

These donuts are freshly made and they go by fast.
It’s the locals favorite spot.
Everyone is nice when you walk in. I always get greeted with a smile.
You can also call in your order and pick up. That’s pretty awesome.

We all know that doughnuts aren’t the healthiest thing to eat… right? So when it comes to doughnuts, it starts with presentation. They have to look so good, you can’t resist buying one; you’ll experience this sensation if you walk into Christy’s.
This place is clean, well lit, and (I think) they use extra bright lights around the doughnut displays. They are all beautifully on display for your choosing. They have all your favorites here: glazed, buttermilk, twists, cake, filled and of course, my favorite, the apple fritter!
Again, presentation is key, and I only stopped in for a coffee after spending an hour at the gym this morning. After seeing how doughy and fluffy their doughnuts are, I had to buy a few!
I couldn’t bring myself to blow my morning workout so I just took a few bites of the apple fritter. OH… MY…it is probably the BEST apple fritter I’ve ever had! Perfectly crunchy, plenty of cinnamon apple chunks, beautifully glazed and not a hint of grease (if you eat apple fritters as much as I do, you KNOW how that oil can hide in those crevices).
The coffee was coffee. The coffee bar has sugar, two sugar free sweetener alternatives, cinnamon and half & half; pretty basic.
They also threw in four FREE doughnut holes with my order (total: two doughnuts and one apple fritter). All that and coffee for under $ 5.00

Opens early and takes credit cards. Donuts were great. Got there at 4am and they didn’t flinch at my request for 6 dozen. I will be back next time I need donuts for my team.

Friends and I having a summer day adventure and looking for place for donuts. We walked in and there were no custard filled left, but the guy behind the counter offered to fill any bar we wanted! Incredible service that I’ve never experienced at a little donut store before.

Best doughnuts ever period!!! I love this place, they are open early like all good doughnut places should be and they have a great selection. I love the raspberry crullers they are just so good. We get their doughnuts at work sometimes and my day is just better for having one. Wonderful place, great service, fantastic!

Awesome! Thats the best way to describe everything about this place! The doughnuts are always fresh and absolutely delicious!!! She is soooooo sweet! I drive from Alta Loma to Upland to buy these doughnuts (which is a little bit a ways) there are plenty of doughnut places around here but i dont mind the drive because its worth it! I SO recommend Christy’s to everyone!

Christy’s Donuts are the best. The donuts are fresh and the customer service is out of this world. You can call in a large order the day before and they are ready when you get there. The woman behind the counter always has a smile on her face and is very friendly.
