I’m a fan of Jersey Mikes and I’ve eaten at a few different locations. The Campus location in Upland, Ca left me feeling disappointed. I stopped by at 7 pm with my two daughters after a softball game and the place was empty. I mean we were the only customers in there. We ordered 3 sandwiches to go and when we got home only to find that my #9 supreme didn’t have any bacon on it and my kids meatball sandwich didn’t have the banana peppers we requested. They were also to put the oil and vinegar on the side but they forgot that as well. Their is no excuse for this they weren’t busy at all! I wouldn’t be surprised to find things missing if I ate at McDonalds but not a semi pricey sandwich shop.

I came into Jersey Mikes today about 5:45 and as always the sandwiches are delicious! The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is due to poor team work that I seen. There was only one Hispanic female working trying to help all the customers in the store. The only problem that I seen was there was a Caucasian female who came and grab something from the counter noticing there were customers she then went to the back of the store leaving a Hispanic female to handle all the customers. I heard The Hispanic female call out for help but when the Caucasian female finally came to help I notice that she was angry and with attitude. This is not team work at all.

I picked up an online order here on Super Bowl Sunday and it was spot on. The staff was attentive and even offered me a cookie for having to wait a couple of minutes. Solid customer service, definitely recommend this spot!

We bought 5 sandwiches and when we got home realized the bread was stale on ALL of the sandwiches. The bread was very dry and crumbly. I called the store and talked to the manager on duty and she explained that their bread is baked fresh daily and that it couldn’t be stale. I explained that maybe it wasn’t stale, but that something terrible must have happened with that day’s batch and the bread was horrible. She said that she would put my name on file and replace half of the sandwiches the next time we came in. I thought it was weird that she offered to replace half of the sandwiches but I was happy that she agreed to that. We went in a few weeks later but the manager on duty totally blew me off. When I explained to the cashier what the original manager said she mentioned it to Mark(manager on duty) and he said that my name wasn’t on file. He did this off the top of his head. He didn’t even check the file. He also said it in a pretty smug way and totally dismissed the situation. No apology. No nothing.

ATTENTIONFRANCHISEOWNER: I decided to try your shop about a month ago, and was hooked. The sandwiches were huge, with a good amount of meat and toppings. I posted all over social media how great it was. Since then, I’ve gone a few more times, and each time the overall quality has declined — absolutely no consistency. A few nights ago I ordered 4 giant subs, and paid nearly $ 60(yes, that’s a lot of money for 4 subs!). When I got home, I noticed they were really light. I proceeded to unwrap them, and found what I would expect from Subway, a large bready roll with almost no meat/toppings. Literally, there was hardly any meat on the Italian subs, and they forgot to put lettuce on another! Definitely not at all what I ordered! I ordered via the online app, to ensure no confusion on the order. I called and spoke with one of the staff. Apparently your own staff is aware of the high turnover and lack of consistency. If you want your business to be successful, I advise you spend some time there QA’ing, and also providing the right amount of training to your staff. By the way, while waiting for my subs to be finished, I observed one staff member struggling to put on his glove, so he pulled down part of the glove and blew air into it, in order for it to slide on. Clearly a Servsafe violation. Also, every time I’ve come here, I’ve observed the sandwich makers place the finished product on the COUNTER near the cash register. They then pull paper, and move the sandwich onto the paper, AFTER it has sat directly on the filthy counter, having touched a pen that customers use. You really need to not only manage your business, but also your staff… The concept is great, and the potential for a really good/quality sandwich is there. I hope you’re able to resolve the issues, as I would certainly like to come back and patronize you, and change this from a two star review to a five star review.

I go to this store at least 2 – 3 times a week. Always great friendly service. Never disappointed. Some of these 1 or 2 star reviews must be written by REALLY stupid people. I’ve gotten the #9 on wheat no less than 200 times over the last couple of years… Always consistent always a great sandwich. I always eat it there and have never once witnessed anything that would resemble rude service. And how can they make your sandwich totally wrong(as some reviews state) when they make it directly in front of you? Maybe put the phone down when you order and give the person making your sandwich the courtesy of telling them exactly what you want! It’s not that difficult people! If your reading my review hopefully you’re smart enough to differentiate between real scenario reviews like mine and people that have no business giving their exceptionally stupid opinions! This was my first time at a Jersey Mikes, I have to say I was impressed. The food 2as great, the staff was very friendly. I told the girl making my sandwich that I had never been here before, she asked I I would like some suggestions(I love that I was asked, instead of forcing the specials on me) I got the club with roast beef(forgot the name already) I was very happy with the quality ingredients, and freshness. I will definitely be back. Keep up the great work!

Nice location, very friendly staff. Subs are just not my thing, I have eaten here in the past and not loved it, but my husband does. He got a big kahuna cheesesteak, $ 13 is steep, but it is really a meal for two. Sometimes he can finish it, sometimes he takes half home for later, seeing as he is a big guy that is probably a good deal. The meat is sliced to order is much better than most sub places, this being the only chain he actually enjoys going back to, for that OK in my book

Rude rude rude! If anyone is reading this from Jersey Mike and can do something about this store please do. The food is always good but the staff today, all of them were just plain rude. Togo order with no bags and a bitchy attitudes the whole time. Were they all on the rag at the same time??? And for those of us that like a secure credit card transaction they didn’t even know if the EMV reader worked. They told me I needed to slide my card after I tried it. Screw this location.

Have eaten here 3 times already, getting the Philly and the roast beef as well as a regular ham. Nothing special about all 3, I probably won’t be going back, I don’t see anything special about these subs. Nothing horrible about the place but nothing spectacular either. 3 stars based on the friendly staff and it being clean. Also, because it’s located by a few other places to catch some food, or dessert :) and a nice area to sit outside in the fresh air and enjoy the sun.

The food here is just fine as it is at any Jersey Mikes; they’re all the same just like any chain. That being said, the purpose of this review is the on-line ordering at this store. It’s horrible! My wife and I have used their on-line ordering service twice. I’m here right now waiting on my sandwiches which were not ready at the promised time on my on-line order. Not only were they not ready, but they hadn’t even been started… again! The last time I ordered on-line and showed up in the store 5 min after the promised time they hadn’t even received my order yet. It was in their system, by no one bothered to print it and make the sandwich. They tried to make it right by giving me two coupons for free chips and drink, but then I get home and they had made the wrong sandwiches. Had to go back to the store and return it. It wasn’t that they put a few wrong toppings on, it was a completely different sandwich. Not even close to what I ordered. Never going there again.

I prefer Jersey Mike’s over Subway, Quizno’s or Togo’s. I’m a regular customer at the one in Monrovia and Arcadia in Westfield mall(same owner for both those locations) and am there at least 1 – 2 times a month. The line goes fast and we are in and out pretty quick. I’ve been to this Upland location twice now. I ordered my usual, #8 Club Sub(on wheat bread, Mike’s Way with bacon and mayo). For some reason, it didn’t taste as good as it usually does and overloaded with lettuce and kind of dry. The second time, I ordered the #8 Club Sub again, but the guy taking my order was extremely talkative, especially about himself.(He’s in college getting his whatever degree, blah blah…) I responded that I would like them to cut my sandwich in half, but have one side a little bigger since I’m sharing it with my husband who’s waiting outside with our dog. He then asked me what kind of dog I have then starts talking about his family dog(sigh). He asked me if he could make my sandwich«his way» instead of «Mike’s Way» since the«Club Sub» was also his favorite sandwich. I’m like«ugh???». I barely got a word in when he suddenly turns to his coworker to inform him that he was personally going to make my order. Typically, there’s one person who starts by getting the bread and cuts the meat and the second person will put the rest of the ingredients in the sandwich. In my case, he wanted to be the one to make my entire sandwich. He said that he will grill the onions for me instead of putting them in raw and that he will add mustard. There’s people behind me, so I’m like«sure, whatever». Honestly, it took much longer for my order so I should of just had it «Mike’s Way» like I usually do. I just thought that was a weird experience and will have my husband order next time… (I just read J.V.‘s review from 8÷11÷14 and I think we are referring to the same guy.) 153⁄100 Reviews for 2014

Really good sandwich … But weird employee. The younger guy with the pony tail(dark skin/hair) doesn’t pay attention when he makes your food. He stares at the young girls walking in. It’s quite disturbing. Maybe he should concentrate on work then drooling over young girls who walk in.
