If I could put no stars I would. I bought I iced coffee a couple days ago. I went to check my bank statement today and turns out they charged me $ 15’s. I hadn’t know before because the lady didn’t give me a receipt. I tried calling them and they didn’t answer. 15 dollars for one coffee ! I don’t think so.

This Mc Donald’s is a classic 1950’s style McDonald’s and stands on the southeast corner of Benson Avenue at 1590 Foothill Boulevard. These classic arches are one of the few that remain from our vintage past. There is no inside dining but there is a nice eating area outside. There is a drive up and walk up window. This location has fun old fashioned decorations and proudly flies the American flag. I ordered a Big Mac and fries. They tasted like they taste at any other Mc Donald’s …good.

This is a McDonald’s Classic! Due to Upland’s local ordinances, this location tries(half-heartedly) to appear like a classic burger joint. Foothill Blvd is historic U.S. Route 66, so plenty of businesses and restaurants have been refurbished in a 1950s style, this McDonald’s being one of them. The outside looks great since they have a corner lot and frontage on two streets with lots of grass. It looks retro from the street but if you decide to turn in, the grass disappears and you’re immediately in a strip mall parking lot looking at a Payless ShoeSource and a title loan company. You just don’t get the feeling they’re trying as much on the south– and east-facing sides of the building. And oh wait — they use a red and white motif and sell burgers in an all American style — just like In-N-Out! But not! Go a quarter mile east and get some real burgers if you want, but if you’re in the mood for Mickey Deez Nuts and you’re in the beautiful city of Upland, CA then this is the location for you.

Very disappointed. Placed my order get to the window am told my total amount I hand the cashier my money. She then asks if I’d like sauce in which I requested Mac sauce and sweet n sour. I can see her adding an item to my order. When I received my receipt and change she had charged me for the sauce and not advised me there would be a charge. Very disappointed in mcdonalds for now charging for a sauce and the cashier for not advising me of this and just charging me for it

I feel very unwelcome here. And it’s sad that one person ruins the entire atmosphere just because they have nothing but rude things to say and the rest of the people that work here are sweethearts. So I never come to this McDonald’s.

THISREVIEWISFOR100 E. FOOTHILLBLVD., UPLAND, CA91786(near Euclid). I purchased a Southwestern salad on November 30th at noon. They asked if I would like grilled or fried chicken. I requested grilled. I called the restaurant when I got home to complain that I had fried chicken on the salad. Jerry(the manager?) said he would replace the salad or give me my money back. I told him I would be back in later(same day). I took the fried chicken off the salad and replaced it with turkey I had in the fridge and ate lunch with my family. I went back to this location a couple hour later and Jerry was gone. I gave them the bag with the«fried chicken» and receipt and told them what Jerry had said. The gentleman at the window left and came back with $ 5 and change. I was so surprised and delighted! HOWEVER, he then proceeded to pass along a lecture from the«manager in the back room» that wouldn’t come out to deliver the message in person. The young man at the counter said he had been instructed to inform me that THISONCE they would give me money back but in the future — don’t eat all the salad and expect to get my money back. I told the young man at the window that I had not asked for my money back — I said a voucher or a replacement salad in the future was fine. THEYHADELECTEDTOGIVEMECASHBACK. I was so embarrassed and thought to myself… What difference did it make??? replace the salad, give me a voucher or hand me back cash. I have 8(eight) grandchildren and am a young grandma. I will choose Chick Filet with a trip to Toys R Us or In-n-Out with a trip to Pets Mart for the kiddies as a treat before I will give me money to a company that teaches their employees to treat customers in this manner.

I’m not sure why this place is getting so few stars. I used to live nearby this restaurant and this was my go-to place whenever I was in need of some of Golden Arches deliciousness. I’ve long since moved away from the area, but was driving around Upland tonight chasing the rain(don’t laugh — we all know it barely rains in Southern California!), and on my way home, I passed by this McDonalds. I figured, why not, and pulled in through the drive-thru. When I pulled up to the speaker I was greeted by a pleasant sounding girl who actually sounded happy to be at work and enjoying her job. I asked about«breakfast after midnight» and whether it really started at midnight(it was 9:40 or so), and was informed it did indeed start after midnight. She could tell I was a bit disappointed and then jokingly asked me if I was going to come back after midnight to order. I laughed and said, «no», and that I was hopefully not going to be awake at midnight. I placed my order and pulled around, and was greeted by the same cheerful girl, with a huge smile on her face. She was friendly, she smiled, she laughed, and I drove away from that McDonalds a little bit happier than when I arrived. Folks, this is a big deal. Hardly anyone is friendly anymore — especially working a drive-thru. Maybe she was having a good day. Maybe she was happy to have a job and be working. Who knows, but her kindness and friendliness left an impression on me so much so, I called and spoke to her manager and complimented her. I asked what else could be done to show recognition so she gave me her store manager’s name and phone number and the employee’s name and you better believe I’ll be calling tomorrow to compliment the employee. I know, some of you might be thinking this is all overboard for an employee at McDonalds, and I beg to differ. I’ve worked and managed restaurants most of my life. I know good service, and a great employee when I see one. If I ever own my own restaurant, this employee is the type I would hope all my employees would strive to be like. So Erin at McDonalds, congratulations. You made my evening.

Ah this McDonald’s. I used to come here and stopped because it was not that great. So I figured one day to give it another chance, so I did. What an improvement. The first thing I noticed was the management team is different. Not only that but the workers here are wonderful. Though there is this one lady Brenda I do believe her name is, that gives some of the best service I have ever gotten. And not just at a McDonald’s but from anywhere. The food is also much better than the last time I came here. Again with the service, I believe a change of staff was what this place needed.

This McDonald’s is always too slow. If I happen to be nearby and want McDonald’s, I will only go to this one if I have an extra hour in my schedule or I have NOWHEREELSETOBE!!! I am not sure what these employees do or don’t do that makes them so freaking slow, but they need to change. I didn’t want to give this McDonald’s any stars, but Unilocal won’t let me post with no stars. Can I give negative stars?

This is my second time here and the food was horrible, my sandwich was old, the Swiss cheese on my chicken sandwich was clear and hard the chicken was dry and the edges were hat, I honestly think they game me something from the trash, the French fries were really salty because the cook half an order of feta but the full orders worth of salt, I went back so they can replace my sandwich and they didn’t even apologize, I this is terrible restaurant.

I really enjoy coming to get my food in this particular mcdonalds because the cookies are almost always soft and the staff doesnt mind you bothering them with things such as ketchup. But most of the people there are very nice and greet you as if they love their job. It sometimes changes your okay mood into a good one!

Nice little Mc Donalds on the corner right of Foothill and Benson where all the Walmart vagrants pass by to get their food. The big golden arch outside makes this place stand out from intersection, I mostly just pass through the drive thru because they take too long to get me food ready. Service is excellent but wait time sucks.

All I wanted was a coke. This is the second time they’ve given me a DIET coke when I asked for regular. My boyfriend told me that some guy walked in the other day saying, «This is gross.» and returned his large drinks because they were supposed to be large iced teas and someone gave him black coffee watered down with ice. Someone behind that counter either wants to be fired or they need a lot more training.

I found that it is considerably faster to use the drive-thru than go inside the restaurant. The shake machine at this McDonalds tends to break down more frequently than it should. Good friendly service, though. Food is always hot and they get my order right.

Horrible food. Ronald mc Donald should be arrested for serving the new. Snack mcbite. It is crap. It was all bread. Dont worry vegans, no chickens were harmed when making this meal. The golden arches has gone way down hill. The guy that recomneded the new item said it was delicious. HA it was disgusting.

It’s just breakfast, but I woke up 30 minutes ago, so my mind is between getting to work and eating. As I try to form the words to order an Egg McMuffin, I am shocked to hear a voicebox respond — what amazing technology. Then the little teleprompter shows my order and the lady says, «Thank You!» Wait! You forgot to ask if I wanted coffee or juice. She corrects my order and I buzz forward. As they hand me my forgotten OJ, I am ready to rush off, but realize they forgot a straw. «Could I get a straw?» The lady looks at me in a haze. Maybe she thought I was speaking in Spanish.
