We checked this restaurant out on Unilocal them drove in from Palm Desert, Ca. No disappointment here everything was GREAT and we look forward to coming back for the Sunday brunch. After a great breakfast we also had the opportunity to meet the outstanding CHEFS, great of them to come out of the kitchen to make sure everything was as it should have been. Everything from the food to all the service was way over the TOP. THANKYOUFOREVERYTHING!

Food very good and friendly service. It does take awhile to get food but well worth the wait.

First time here and it did not disappoint. I saw all the Unilocal reviews and decided to give it a whirl. The restaurant is actually inside of a hotel but dont let that turn you away. Lorraine was a great server, super friendly and made a great recommendations. My husband ordered the Monte Cristo and I got the eggs Benedict with chorizo– both were out of this world. I definetly recommend the tater tots as a side along with the hash brown cassorole. We will be returning guests. One thing to note: there may be a bit of a wait and since everything is made fresh ensure you give yourself plenty of time to spare– the food will be worth the wait!

Excellent food. Friendly staff. There’s a wait on them bringing the food out to you. Be warn. But it’s worth the wait. Food was delicious. The chicken fried chicken and eggs was delicious. The turkey sandwich was delicious. Home made English muffins taste like biscuits. It was yummy. Home made fries was not so great for me. The waitresses are slow in bringing napkins, boxes, refills to you. But they are super friendly though. And you’ll have to ask them a couple of times to bring you extras napkins and boxes.

Wonderful little hidden gem. hidden inside of the GH(GuestHouse) hotel. You can also enter from Foothill too. 2nd time here for their sunday brunch with very good food at a great price $ 12.95 + $ 2.50 addt’l for coffee. Everything appears to be made from scratch so Kudos to the chef. Service is mediocre. slow to clean tables, clear tables, bring drinks and refill drinks but otherwise ok.

The food & service were wonderful. All the servers welcomed us with smiles right when we walked in. Our server was attentive & offered us some suggestions. The food is made to order & you can taste the difference! I ordered the chicken fried chicken. It was so yummy! Crispy & has lots of flavor. My hubby loved the English muffins with the homemade jams. We will certainly be back to try more food!

Definitely will be back here to eat again! We went for Sunday brunch today for our first time. We didn’t do the buffet, but ordered from the menu instead. The chicken fried chicken steak is excellent. The English muffins are homemade and I would say it was the best English muffin I’ve ever ate! I even added some fruit topping jam to mine that the waitress brought for our breads. The hash brown casserole was also tasty. All in all everything was great and I’m looking forward to returning to try some of their other foods off the regular daily menu.

This little café(hidden on a frontage road and attached to a hotel), is truly a gem. The service was wonderful, the food was delicious, and the décor cozy. We are from out of town, found them on Unilocal, and we’re happy we did. The Sunday Brunch is terrific! Definitely give this café a try…

I was scoping out Sunday brunches near our house and came across this place, which had apparently just been featured on channel 5. Looked delicious online, so we gave it a shot! We arrived within minutes after opening and there was a wait, but not because it was too full, it was because they(as he hostess put it) didn’t want to overwhelm themselves, so they had they customers wait for 20 minutes. I think it was a rookie move to tell the costumers that, so I will cut her some slack. However, considering that they were featured on the news and had a spike in business, maybe hire more staff as to not inconvenience your customers. Anyway, food was good, tasted fresh and you can tell they pour their love into it. The chicken fried chicken was my favorite by far! All in all, I would recommend them. I’m Guessing they got fairly busy pretty quickly and there’s always a learning curve.

Definitely 5 stars off the menu, but 3 – 5 stars for weekend brunch. When it’s good it’s the best, they always have an interesting Benedict at the buffet. It’s usually pretty amazing. They have the most consistently well done poached eggs around. Today crab Benedict was mediocre and spaghetti at the buffet seemed lazy. The hash brown casserole is amazing. Today they had a macaroni and cheese pork belly soup. Sounds amazing doesn’t it!!! Well I wouldn’t know. They often run out of the good stuff and it takes a while to replace it, if they replace it. When ordering off the menu, it has been nothing short of phenomenal no matter what was ordered. I completely recommend Pine Haven, but order off the menu if your not too sure about what the buffet looks like on the weekend!

All you breakfast junkies, this is the spot. The wife and I found this place randomly. It’s a little hard to find on foothill, located in the hotel. Before stepping inside, we had to do a little Unilocal homework. Everything appears to look really good, so we had to find out for ourselves. This place exceeded our expectations. Great hospitality and really good breakfast. Especially the Monte Cristo Sandwich with tots and fresh raspberry sauce.

Came here on a Sunday morning for breakfast. Hadn’t planned on eating the brunch but our waitress sold it pretty hard. I am limited in my diet choices right now so breads and sweets were off limits. They sure looked good though. The hot items were good for the most part, hashbrown casserole(forgot if that’s the name, sorry!) was awesome! My only thing that kinda grossed me out were the serving utensils for the brunch items were regular size spoons. People were handling them and serving themselves and then would set them back into the tray… Where it would fall into the food. I understand that it happens, but please please please have actual serving utensils and not dining room flatware for people to serve themselves. That part is what would keep me from returning unfortunately. If I do return, no brunch for me, I am ordering off the menu. Someone by us ordered the chicken and waffles and it looked so good! Service was great! Keep an eye on those refills!

We finally decided to go because we saw that Burrous Bites took the time to do so as well. So happy we did! Not only one of our favorite waitresses from Rabi’s café is now serving tables here, but it’s close to our house and the food is not only good it’s a culinary masterpiece! Thank you Pine Haven Café!

This place is a diamond In a ruff! It was pretty hard to find as it is attached to a hotel which I totally didn’t expect. I got so frustrated I almost gave up on my search for it. Sooo glad I didn’t! This place is yummy! Prices are very reasonable! The wait to get my food was a bit long but because of the complementary chips, I wasn’t starved. Food was hot, fresh and delicious! The complementary chips they serve are amazing! Also, the hash brown casserole was cheesy goodness! The homemade English muffin was also good! Can’t wait to try their Sunday brunch! Would for sure come back!

Always looking for a food adventure and searching for the new and trending food establishments. searched Unilocal for a new breakfast spot and«pine haven café« Was shining bright with 5 stars . Made a reservation through the Unilocal website and made the journey. A small wait as they dressed a table .a pre –review of the menu and house favorites our decision was made. The homemade english muffins are excellent. In my party of 4 ’ the food ranged from the ’ chicken fried steak and eggs. Eggs benedicts, 2×2×2(eggs, bacon and pancakes) The southbeach omelette ‘, biscuits and gravey . All where greatly prepared and presented by ’ chef Milo Who occassionally walked the floor checking his work and asking the guests feedback . Open from 9am –2pm **breakfast only and a breakfast buffet on sunday ’ which will be my next visit . Thanks chef ’ Milo for the meal and open table reservation.
