Absolutely horrible service. I called a couple days ago after seeing ad on craigslist and was given a quote for all my electronics to be sold and it was for 300 – 500 $. I come in and they try to offer me 50 $ for a Mac Book Pro and an older computer. Are you joking me? I live an hour and a half away and drove all the way up there to be giving a ridiculous offer like that. You guys are a scam and a shame. NOONECOMEHERE. People are rude and liars. Stay away!!! And another thing… Person over the phone told me they take cameras and itouch’s and brought both and was offered nothing. Next time don’t lie to people. What a shame you have people like this running a shop. Like I said STAYAWAY!!! Wish I could give you negative stars. Learn to not be rude to customers

Route 66 laptops has recently come to our beautiful island of O’ahu, they came to sell electronics and laptops at our mega-liquidation sale. I originally went to this sale because their ad in the radio said they had laptops going for 79 dollars, when I got there all the laptops were 150 and above… False advertisement… Their sales reps were idiots, they had no clue what they were selling, yet they tried to pass off as if they were experts. All their laptops looked like used garbage. I purchased an IBMT60 for 200 after haggling the price down and i thought i got a great deal! Two days later the computer would NOT start up. So I took it back, they told me to pick out another laptop for an exchange so i did, i picked out another T60 and they told me that because it had a slightly bigger screen that they would charge me 100 dollars more. Infuriated by this i told them to bring me the same laptop or one with similar specs, they kept bringing me garbage laptops that were way older and had horrible specs. They kept trying to trick me into thinking that these laptops were the same, but over and over i proved them wrong. Finally after an hour of waiting«Q» pulled the hard-drive and replaced it with another. It worked but he stopped me and told me that this was too good of a deal for me, and refused to give the computer back and was only going to refund my money. WTF? he gave me 219 $, shorted me on tax, the case and my time. Long story short, Route 66 Laptops should NOT do business in Hawaii, California or anywhere. short changing people and selling crap is is how they stay afloat. avoid then at all cost. They are NOT honest people.

DONOTGOTOTHISPLACE… I took my computer a couple months ago because the screen was messing up. First of all, it took them a week to get back to me to let me know what exactly the problem was. They had promised I would get a follow up call the very next day but lo and behold NOTHING. After telling me the screen needed changing they quoted me a price that was too much. I told them that I was not going to fix it but to give me my computer back. When I showed up to collect my computer it was still in pieces. They finally brought it out after 20 minutes AND it STILLWASNOTPUTTOGETHERPROPERLY. They had broken the bezel to the point that it does not stay flush against the screen. When I got angry they could not understand why. I WILLNEVERDOBUSINESSWITHTHEMAGAIN. THEYAREJUSTTRYINGTOGETMONEYANDDON“T HAVEANYCUSTOMERSERVICESKILLSWHATSOEVER. DO yourself a favor and find a next place, hell I will fix your computer just don’t go to them. Can we give negative ratings(−10÷10)? That one star ahould really be ¼ star. Oh after I left the dumb ass place, I went to another store COMPUTERNETWORK and they correctly diagnosed the problem within the matter of a few hours… NOTTHESCREEN but the Video Cable. I have to agree with these other three reviews. Customer service is only there on the day of the purchase. If your purchase needs repair, good luck getting hold of someone for a staus update. Well after a week of dropping my purchase off for repair, I had heard nothing. I called and finally got someone live and asked him for an update and he said, «Did we tell you we would call you?» — I said«yes» — «Have we called you?» — «no» — «Then it must not be ready, we’ll call you when it is.» They had it for at least 3 weeks and the same problem started reoccuring within 2 weeks of picking it up. I have since taken it to another computer store who fixed it properly and it is working fine now.

After I took my computer desktop in for repairs I asked them if they did house calls to set up home systems. We made an appointment to have someone come to my home then it got changed as he could not make the appointment. We rescheduled and no one even bothered to call me as they did not show up. After the third time I gave up. «Following up to the customer is not in their choice of words.» «The Not So Hot Category.» Bad, just bad regarding any follow up. A business lives or dies from the customer reviews. I had a choice and picked your store. All were friendly but a lack off following up and communicating with your customers is the only way to keep one review from keeping customers away. I also suggest that you, if you are the owner of manager, allow those who feel taken advantage off to be able to contact you and resolve any disputes. People remember those companies who go out of their way to satisfy them.
