It’s good to be a regular and Sami’s rewards it.
We’re on a first name basis with most of the good ol’ boys working at Sami’s, just down the street from our house. It’s genuinely friendly here, they’re more than happy to talk to you, and they like a good laugh. If you need to work on your over the counter banter this is the spot to do it. It’s because of the workers that we frequent this place.
Other than them, it’s a very standard convenience store. Beer is reasonably priced, liquor is a bit expensive. They’ve got lots of good candy, I like candy, and of course the basic grocery essentials.
Usually when we go they’ll give my roommates free lighters if they need them, and not the cheap kind in the fishbowl. One time we were given two porno DVDs, though, and they were really tasteful. That’s not true, that time was sort of awkward.
