Z Smog

It was my first time here and I found this business on Unilocal.The service was great! I felt very welcomed when I walked in, he was straight to the point (which I like) and I was out of there in 15 mins. I’m always going to get my smog here from now on and you should too!

Had to get my car smogged. Came here on a recommendation from my husband. They were very friendly, the smog was quick. They sent my info straight to the dmv. No problems. Cost was reasonable. I will use them again.

My uncle tipped me off to this place for getting your car smogged and he was right on. Friendly service, reasonable prices, and they turn around your car quick. Makes the whole smog check process painless. Just be sure you don’t miss the place – it’s in a strip mall on the s side of 9^th a few blocks w of mountain ave.

This place was referred to me by my mechanic, since it was now time to get my car smogged, a task I absolutely loathe. I had never heard of this place, but since I trust my mechanic, I figured this place must be okay.
The place is just west of Mountain Avenue on Ninth Street, with a pickup out in front of the place, with a big sign in its bed that says «Z Smog». The place is rather small, but I was able to get my car smogged right away without a wait. I was concerned about passing my test, since my car is 12 years old, but I didn’t want them to know it. After about 20 minutes, the test was complete, and I passed.
The thing that sold me on this place was that I confided to the tech about my previously cited concern, and he actually took the time to explain each section of the results, and what each section measured. Based on the results, I passed by a long shot, so I really had nothing to worry about, but I was glad that he took the time to explain it to me, when he really didn’t have to.
I was charged $ 49.95 for the test, and $ 8.25 for the certificate. I don’t remember what I paid for my last test, but I was just happy to be done with my bi-​annual smog test.
Just so you know, this is a «Test Only» center!
