I’ve had this place do two jobs for me and both were flawless! The main reason I rated this place 5 stars though was because of the customer service, it was excellent! I dealt with two different reps and both times they were friendly, knowledgeable and professional! I will be back for all my framing needs!

I recently went into the framing center to get a price on some OSU artwork that I needed framed. Upon entering I knew my experience was not going to be good when after waiting about 5 minutes a woman came to the counter and said… «what do you need» I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted because I had just come from JoAnns and already had a quote so I figured I would start there. After explaining what I wanted she quickly replied«Well if you are looking to frame it like everyone else who has an OSU themed room then by all means do that… OR you could TRY to be different and think outside what everyone else does. Shocked as I was about the comment I proceeded to ask for a quote on what I already seen to get an idea if dealing with a stuck up, unprofessional(and not well groomed) salesperson here was worth my time(after driving 30 minutes to get there) My quote from JoAnns was $ 447 before their 50% coupon, extra 20% off, and $ 20 off end total brought me to $ 158 and change. The clerk quoted me $ 291 and change and I asked why it was so high, as they advertise better pricing than JoAnns and Micheals. I quote: «Well if I apply a 25% coupon to your total it brings you to $ 218 which still beats their 50% price. JoAnns doesnt make money on framing, its just another ploy to get you into the store to buy other things. The employees there have no idea what they’re doing and everything is sent off. We’re a small company of 20 people and all we do is frame and we do it here. If you want to pay for price over quality then go to JoAnns. At this point I thanked her for her time and walked out the door STUNNED over my experience. Moral of the story is: JoAnns has excellent customer service and great pricing… but only with coupons. The Framing Center has stuck up employees, higher pricing, and an attitude that they are better than the Big Box. Do yourself a favor and avoid the Framing Center… Unless of course you have extra money to blow and like being talked down to.

Great customer service! and they have coupons, cool. I recently bought a mat and frame for a print I bought at a local art show. It was a European looking watercolor. It was very detailed, so I wanted my frame and mat to be pretty basic. I was brought probably 20 different options, with no hesitation. They are quite willing to help and totally understand the decision process of a novice art collector. With my 25% off coupon I found in the Tri-Village Quarterly Magazine, the total for glass, double mat and frame was about $ 250. Eek, kind of steep, but I knew to expect that with a custom frame. As I waited for some final details, I shopped around and found another really cool print. It looks like Greek sods swimming. Hey, I was a swimmer and had been to Greece, it worked for me. It was a small print, 8 ½×11, I think. It was probably $ 5.00, so I bought it. It’s hanging in my living room. I pretty much love it… actually a little more so than the $ 250 frame job I got. Oh well. When the economy turns around, I’ll totally go back the the Framing Center to have it redone.
