Years ago the food here was worth it but after eating here a few times recent interview I don’t think I’ll spend any of my money here. A few times I ordered General tso chicken and all of the chicken cubes basically were full of dough and very little meat. And i stress the very little meat part. This didn’t happen just once in the same week or month but more then a few times in different months. Also on a sidenote the lady that usually takes the order is very rude and doesn’t know anything about good customer service. There are a lot better carryouts in the area besides this one. Food is over priced too.

Probably one of the better Chinese places in the area. Not as good as where I am from but much better than most in PG county.

Jerry Yum’s interior is a lot better than most Chinese takeouts’. Unlike other carry outs, Jerry Yum’s has a well lit and clean interior. They also have a lot of table should you choose to sit. As for their food, their Beef and Broccoli and Chicken Fried Rice is pretty good. If you’re in the mood for Chinese takeout, I would recommend Jerry Yum’s. Warning: they only take cash.

Not much to say… we got take-out and weren’t disappointed. The food was tasty and ready when we arrived… no long waits.

I went there recently to get the chicken wings and rice only to get home and see a long piece of hair on top of the rice. I took it back and was floored to see the cashier pick the hair out of the food and examine it right there on the spot then say will make you another. No Thank YOU. She became angry and shoved my 7 bucks and change in my hand. Why get mad? They smile at all the black faces when they giving money… admit wrong and gladly refund the money and apologize. Case closed. Don’t eat there. Also, they have space heaters out in the open like we in someone’s home not place of business. Is this a fire code violation? Why no receipt? They don’t give receipts… ever wonder why???

We had small servings of Kung Pao chicken(very spicy) and Chicken with Cashews. They were full of vegetables, and not in a good way. I prefer broccoli and bok choy to celery & carrots.

I like Jerry Yums. I got sick from there once but honestly it was my fault. Who in their right mind would eat 3 day old Chinese food that she paid 6 dollars for? Anyhoo, when I follow the silent rules of eating Chinese food which is only ordered fried, I was very pleased. I have had their cheeseburger sub, sweet and sour pork/chicken, egg foo young and shrimp fried rice which were all good. Pretty good Chinese food.

I love their Steak, Egg and Cheese subs with fries(and ketchup on them). The steak melts in your mouth. I love to go here to partake in the lunch special which is a 6″ sub with fries for $ 6.95. Mmmmm Mmmmmm good. Every time I go there is a small crowd. Small crowds speak for themselves.

The food is okay, nothing to write home about. The Chinese food has no flavor and is soggy. My son was disappointed in the quality of the rice as he said it tasted like sushi rice that had been sitting for days. I hope they get better as our area really does not have any good Chinese restaurants.

This is a very good carry out. I ordered the steak and cheese half sub with an order of fries. This carryout is better than some others i’ve been to in this area. I really enjoyed my last minute dinner.

Decent Chinese food but inconvenient in the sense that it takes cash only. it’s selection is pretty wide seeing as they offer Chinese and American selections. Better to call ahead of time – they appear to be very busy throughout the day. Not sure if I’d order there again – will probably look elsewhere before I do opt to.

I love Jerry Yums. Everything I get from there is cooked quickly and hot. Its soo good. I can say my faviorte menu item is the chicken and cheese. Everyone I know except my mom likes Jerry Yums. My other family members and friends come often. She does love there fries and can’t walk in there without ording some. The only thing I don’t like is they don’t take credit cards and I don’t know why. Everyone has debit/credit card machines now, even on their cell phones they have the little card readers. Jerry Yums i’m sure would get more business if they started taking cards. I rarely get to go because I never have cash one me and I don’t like having to go to the ATM just so i can have Jerry Yums. I hardly find need for cash so I don’t usally carry any. I would eat there almost daily if they took debit/credit cards, as it is I only eat there when i happen to have cash on me, which means i go like once a month. Other than that i love the food, i usally call my order in on my way and it’s ready when i get there. The place is a little divey, but the food is good.

I love their food and the mixture of chinese meets american. The only issue I have is that they don’t take cards nor do they deliver. I mean, it doesn’t take much to have a credit card machine or get a delivery boy. If they did I would go more often. That the only reason they get 3 stars. Soemtimes it is very busy and it is better to call in your food though. Some of the guests can be rude to tohers and the workers, but that’s folks. I do like their fried chciken and beef rib tips, though i wish they put soem more sauce on them after frying them. they should throw them in a pan and do it that way.

My husband really likes this place. But when he took me in one day I wasn’t too pleased with the interior. The food I am sure is amazing, and I probably would have liked it better had i not stepped foot inside. It is very stuffy inside with bad lighting. I don’t think I could eat here after my experience inside.

As far as carry-out food goes, Jerry Yum’s is the best. Is the little Asian lady manning the register the nicest? Maybe not, but hell if I had a line to the wall and a phone ringing off the hook I wouldn’t be either. But manners aside, the food is hot and just(dare I say it) YUMMYYUMMYYUMMY. Being from Baltimore, I have had my fair share of good chicken, especially from good ‘ol Lexington market, but I gotta tell ya, Jerry Yum’s rings supreme. Try to get there before 3pm because their prices for lunch specials are amazing. Aaaaaaaaand they have FREE refills. True they give you the evil eye if you get more than one but free is free goddammit!

when you’re running late and you ain’t got dinner on your plate jerry yum’s jerry yum’s jerry yum’s meets the two critical requirements for chinese takeouts: fast and tasty. when i call in my order, it’s ready in 15 minutes exactly, sometimes 10. the hot & sour soup is superb with fresh mushrooms and chopped scallions(always the best indicator of how fresh a chinese takeout’s ingredients are). the shrimp dishes feature substantially meaty shrimps(none of that bite sized crap). and the dishes feature a variety of sauces(you know how some places say they have«hunan sauce» and«house sauce» and«garlic sauce» and«spicy sauce» but they all end up being the same overly salty brown generic slimy sauce? not here.) the curried singapore noodles, lo mein and sesame chicken dishes are also very tasty. the portions are big, so i always have enough for leftover lunches. as for the place itself, it looks like a converted roy rogers, so there is some old worn looking seating available if you want to eat there(hello fine dining). they take cash only, but if you don’t have any, there’s a bank located conveniently next door. the service isn’t friendly, but it’s fast. and that plus the taste is enough to keep me going back when time is flying and i can’t catch up.
