I ordered the Make it Your Way burger, fries & strawberry shake. The food was absolutely fabulous! The staff were friendly. It was an especially nice touch to see the chef go around to check-in with the customers. The only reason my experience didn’t rate 5 stars is because the cashier was also responsible for making shakes. When my shake didn’t make it out with my meal, I went up to inquire and her response was that she would make it after she took the orders of the people in line. Unfortunately, I didn’t get my shake until I was half way thru my meal.

Delicious burgers! The seasoning on the meat was very good. Cooked how I ordered it. The chef even came out to see how everything tasted. The onion rings were huge and tasty. Nice, quick place for a burger.

Visited on 07march2015. I ordered the Martin o Malley and sweet potato fries. I wanted my burger medium well. Came well done. Half of the burger had a really good taste then the other half didnt taste like anything special. Dont know what happened. The coleslaw I think would be better being chunkier. Just wasn’t really alot to this burger to make it shine. Sweet potato fries were done well. If they had burnt those this place would have gotten one star. Last… i hate when places give little Styrofoam Dixie cups for water.

DONE with this place. Why hasn’t it closed yet? The last straw was this raw, I mean wholly uncooked turkey burger. DISGUSTING. Shut. It. Down.

Horrible! Burger was not fresh service was blah. I should have know on a Saturday night if no one was there that’s a sign save your money. 1 star is pushing it.

I don’t know why other people would give this place a lower rating, but I’ve been here two times and intend to continue going here when I am in the area and crave a burger. To me, this place is better than five guys and any fast food place. They give you a nice size burger patty and bun and offer a couple kinds of burgers that you can not find at any other burger place. And lastly, I don’t think the prices are bad for what you get.

Delicious! Next best thing to making your own at home. You can taste the freshness! Customer service was exceptional and helpful for my first time. I love a delicious interesting burger… not greasy!’! Love this place will definitely be back! My new burger joint close to home

I would lower the star rating except the burgers are really good. Customer service absolutely sucks. The young lady at the register doesn’t greet you; all one word answers; non friendly; not welcoming; took 5 minutes to place an order for two burgers and two shakes as she was constantly distracted by her ‘friends’ and what was on TV than finishing putting my order in the registered; lastly, personal hygiene and grooming could be ramped up just a bit as I was praying for dear life that one of her fake eyelashes wouldn’t drop into my milkshake as she was making them. Between the caked on eyelashes, the dirty uniform, the scraggly hair, the unkempt nails… I was all but grossed out. Hopefully my food will be just as good as it was the last time. Unfortunately it’s par for the course with labor pool in PG. While I want to keep my money in the ‘community’, it’s difficult with service like this We shall overcome one day?

I got this order to-go. I had the Obama Burger, asked for the turkey meat as a substitution, and added bacon. I was so pleased when I got home because they did not mess up my order. In my experience, most to-go orders get messed up in some way. Thank you, TD Burger, for getting it right! The burger was seasoned well. It was much tastier than other turkey burgers. Sometimes, turkey burger meat can taste hammy or funky, but this turkey burger was delicious. The toppings(onions, bacon, swiss cheese) added special notes to the burger. Make sure you get extra honey mustard, because it is tasty! I’ll definitely go here again.

So bad, I joined Unilocal to review this place… Not enough change in drawer to give me my change, received a turkey bacon burger, where bacon & cheese was not cooked or hot. They forgot to make my cookies, when I reminded them after 20 minutes, they said, «Oh, well we do not have cookie dough anyways.» So I got my refund(not enough change to give me my full refund!) and got the hell outta there. My first time and last time there… so sad, how horrible the service was. Not just me, a woman was irate about her pizza today.

I can’t tell you all how the food taste because I never received it. It was empty when I walked to place my to go order. I placed my order with the girl at the counter then ran across the street to pick up another order. When I came back the young lady was now at the back booth with the manager. When she saw me she got up and I asked how long. She said they are coming now. I asked so no one has started on my order. She shook her head no. I asked for a refund and thats when who I presume to be the cooked walked up and said is that my fault then looked at me. Another lady came up to help the young lady refund my money. No appolgized or offered anything to compensate for the lack of service. They all stared at me as I walked out like I was the problem. I will never visit this establishment again.

Nice staff. Clean restaurant. Great location. My daughter and I shared our meal. We ordered the turkey burger with sweet potato fries. Our food came on a silver tray covered with a picnic design parchment paper. The turkey burger was flavorful, however it was a tad bit overcooked. The potato fries were good, along with the honey mustard sauce. I felt it was a bit pricey for a place where you have to go get your food when called as well as get your own drink and utensils. But I guess they have to do what they have to do in order to pay their rent; since they have a prime location directly across the street from the Magic Johnson theater. I know that little piece of real estate is a pretty penny each month. I also got the red velvet cupcake. The icing was really good. The cupcake was a tad bit dry, but flavorful. If they took it out of the oven 5 minutes earlier it would have been perfect.

Terrible service that trickles down from the owner to the staff. My family won’t be supporting this place again. Attached are the emails between the owner and myself highlighting my issues with the service, which he never addressed or remedied. In short… The establishment does not honor current coupons that are printed on the menus,(the reply I received initially didn’t apply seeing as though the coupon that I presented was not a Groupon deal it’s a in store menu coupon). My family waited nearly an hour for our meal only to get a milkshake and the wrong burger, we were told we would have to wait an extra 30 minutes on top of what we had already waited because they were out of pasta sauce. The attitude of the owner is simply rude and disrespectful. Under no circumstance is the food worth the trouble. Five Guys is just across the parking lot

I tried this place two days in a row, and I ordered two different burgers. I tried the Obama Burger and the Timothy Blue Burger. The Obama Burger was over seasoned. The Timothy Blue Burger tasted like burned soap. It literally tasted like soap had been cooked into the turkey meat on my burger. I will say that both cashiers, on the two days that I went there, were nice. Actually, I only gave this place two stars because of the two cashiers. I have a $ 2 off any burger/pizza coupon that I’m never going to use. It looked pretty nice inside, but it wasn’t worth the time or money.

Located right across from the Magic Johnson Movie Theaters, in the Cap Center. My impression is that TDB is not sure what it wants to be and that is not a great sign for its future. TD is apparently one of those Top Chef guys and a local, so immediately you want to give the local guy a shot. His image is right next to the enterence. But the TDB logo is not distinctive or even a logo. That is a metaphor for the restaurant because this burger joint serves gourmet, fire baked pizzas. Look, either you are a burger place or you are a pizza place. I’ve never been anywhere that did both to perfection. Though I did not taste the pizza, I doubt they are moving enough pizza to make it worth having a divided kitchen, so to speak. I had the baker burger. It had a spicy sauce and crispy onions. It was tasty and the burger itself was thick and not dry, even though I like my beef medium well. The bun was very good and held together. Everything seemed to be very fresh and put together with some thought. I liked it. I had sweet potato fries, and they were quite good. I can see what other posters are saying about the service. I have ZERO complaints about the person who waited on me. But this was not what I would call a friendly group. There was no effort to explain things, nor did anyone come over to check on me after I had ordered and picked up my burger at the counter. The fountain soda machine is inconveniently located off in the corner. TDB needs a restaurant professional to turn around it’s operation or it will be gone. It is about that simple. Forget Top Chef, they need that salon makeover lady to come in, retrain the staff, slim and focus the menu and redo the aesthetics. Otherwise, there is nothing special to keep customers coming back in a segment of the market that is packed with solid offerings.

As it stands right now. 2 stars. I think I will give it another chance, though, and hope for the better. I love a good burger. Came out of a movie and decided to grab lunch. Got greeted by one person, who handed me a menu, and told me to order at the register when I was ready. I was the only person in the establishment at this time. I pick out a burger, ask if I could have a different cheese on it then listed, then a group of three of them kept giving each other looks and then tell me that I need to order the«Build Your Own» or whatever it was while laughing. They were rude and downright unprofessional. The guy on the grill comes out and asks me what temperature I wanted while they figured out the billing. I asked if they could do Medium Rare(always love it when a restaurant will cook that level). The employees at the register then asked me what I wanted on the burger. They had to get a menu to see what was on the other burger I originally wanted. I ask for a cup for water. They hand me this 2.5 inch tall Styrofoam cup that looks like the cups you keep in the bathroom for the kids. I spent 12 bucks for a burger and fries and you give me a cup capable of holding at the most two mouthfuls. I sit down, notice two TVs. One of them on the Home Shopping Network. Another on some fitness infomercial. Loud R&B music blaring. Employees come and go, announcing it to their coworkers as they do. This crew was one of the most unprofessional groups I’ve seen in this area. In what could not have been two minutes, my name gets called. Immediately get worried about how quick the turnaround was. Shoestring fries. Salted them up, tried them… raw. How do you not cook shoestring fries enough? The middle of most of them were crunchy uncooked potato. Sauce that it came with was awesome. Burger: bite into it. Same problem. It was not medium rare. It was raw. Wasn’t warm at all in the middle. The texture was of full-on raw ground beef. The seasoning on the burger was fantastic, though. The bacon was some of the best bacon I’ve tasted in one of these places. The roll was excellent, as well. I was on my way to class, and decided to just risk eating it, since I really didn’t have time to order another, plus I really did not feel like dealing with this staff. Like I said in the beginning, I’m willing to give them another chance, just because what I ate was so fantastic, but think I may have to get it to go in the future.

I will start with, I don’t eat beef. I am always looking for a good Turkey Burger. I found one! Ok, the pricing… High. But, if you are looking for a good flavored juicy, burger, fresh toppings and delicious sweet potato and regular fries… good grease I am guessing, you now have choices in Largo. Check the pictures out and Check them out. TD also frequents his spot. Oh, the service is incredible. Not your typical PG service. Great job on your staff. Keep up the good work and good luck.

After my last visit where the service was suspect, I decided to give this place another try along with a friend who was in a burger mood. Service: Pleasant and engaging. The hostess/order taker acknowledged us immediately upon entering and was very friendly. She did a great job of explaining different menu items and offering tips. Food: Consistently fantastic. I ordered the Grilled Ahi Tuna Burger, which comes with asian slaw, pickled cucumbers and horseradish mayo. The tuna was so perfectly prepared that when I looked at it I thought it was a beef patty! Ok, so I had a blonde moment, whatever! The burger tasted fantastic. The tuna had a nice smokey flavor on the outside and was moist in the inside. The slaw and cucumbers added some crunch and tang while the horseradish mayo added a little kick. I was loving every bite and was sad when it was all gone! :( The french fries were also fantastic. Perfectly prepared and seasoned, I kept grabbing for more. Shareable portion size! I stayed with my tried and true choice of the Double Chocolate shake. So rich, so chocolately… SOGOOD! Price: Ahhh, it is what it is. Priced similarly to the other upscale burger competitors. I will say the one thing that separates it from the rest is at least the portion sizes are on the larger side and the food is always fresh and full of flavor. I am by no means saying it’s fun to pay $ 16+ for a burger, fries and shake BUT… a happy mouth and tummy takes the pain away a little.

Gourmet burgers, clean décor, long waits. This place just opened, so consistency is unclear, but the turkey burger was pretty good. It took forever to get that burger, but I’ll chalk it up to growing pains(for now). Timothy Dean decided to take on Five Guys on their own turf inside the Boulevard — we’ll have to see if this place has staying power. The best comparison that I can think of is Fuddruckers with gourmet pizza(pizza review will have to wait for another trip.) Everything is grass-fed and fresh, and the place is across from a Magic Johnson theater, so I guess the target audience is African American gourmet burger eaters. No Amex, which is surprising for a place with $ 8 burgers — bring a visa or a pocketful of cash.
