EveryDay’s A Holiday

I shopped there with my 4 year old yesterday and we had a whole bunch of items when he suddenly had to use the bathroom. 4 yr olds are not that great at holding it in so we went in search for the bathroom immediately. I asked one of the employees where the bathroom was and she denied us use of the bathroom even when I told her it’s for the little one. She suggested that we go to the restaurant around the corner. When I looked at her with a look of disappointment (it was also raining outside), she told me «You can look at me all you want. If he falls back there it’s on us.». I put the items down on the counter and we went outside. By that point my son really had to go so we didn’t have time to search for another bathroom and he ended up going next to a tree in the rain. I considered not purchasing anything from the store, but by that point my son had picked a couple little toys and I didn’t want to punish him for the rudeness of the employee. When we went back (not even five minutes later), she had our stuff in a shopping cart mixed in with other items that were not ours and was getting ready to put it back on the shelves. Needless to say, I will never shop there again and I will advise all my friends about the way we were treated. God forbid you have a child or an IBD and need to use the restroom while you shop. Shame on you Everyday’s a Holiday!
