They are now located on north 5th so it is much closer than the address on the Unilocal listing if you are in Philly. We had an absolute blast! The owner and other two instructors were very helpful, calming, and made sure everyone had a great time. They took the time to explain exactly what we were going to do, both on the ground and while you are in the air, so you did not have to worry about forgetting anything. You are in a harness and there is a net so while it was an adrenaline rush you are very safe. It was not cheap at $ 60 but you get two hours of activity in a small class(our was 4 people but I think 10 is the max). 3 of us had never done it before and it was no problem at all. They will show you what to do. Highly, highly recommend flying! It was spectacular. A feeling like nothing else!

I recently took a group of friends for a group flying trapeze lesson at Fly School Circus Arts in Bucks County. The outdoor rig was set-up at Lions Camp Kirby. I had done the trapeze before, but several members of our group had not. Any fear or hesitation they had was lessened by the warm, enthusiastic and welcoming staff. Mary Kelly Rayel, the owner, provided instant energy and smiles, mixed in with skills and expertise. The rest of her staff was warm, inviting, friendly and humorous. Mary Kelly and her team led us on a series of warm-up exercises where they told us what to anticipate in the air and on the rig. During the warm-up, each of the participants was given specific instructions during their opportunity to try the different skills they would need to fly. After warm-ups, the Fly School team led us through four tries on the trapeze. The first try got everyone warmed up and used to the rig, ladder and the concept of letting go. By the second try, some of our group members started to perfect their technique. The third pass focused more on the form and artistry — as well as preparing us to do the big«catch.» The fourth try, for most of us anyways, was being caught in the air. After the lessons, the Fly School team thanked us – and invited us back. It was a beautiful location — with a nice, fun, laid back atmosphere. The staff really did a great job of mixing the fun and anecdotes with the safety and skill instructions. We will definitely be back to «fly» again in 2012.
