After wandering aruond the Burgoo Fest and amidst our wine tasting tour, I had a hunkering for chocolate and I wanted to buy some homemade fudge for presents. They had some old-fashioned candies which were fun to see, but my pickin’s were assorted chocolate covered things – such as grandmarnier pecans, raisins, turtles, etc. Everything was really good. Unfortunately one of the bags melted into a chocolatey gooey mass of about 6 different items, but I admit, when I got home, I ate the re-hardened gob – and it still tasted awesome. If you are around those parts, stop in. The ladies running the shop were friendly as well.
