Tu Cocina

This place is closed!!! Got off the Thruway to try to find it in an RV. Ugh…

As we were looking for a place to eat we decided to try out Tu Cocina. When we walked in we were excited to see their menu and fresh food.
I ended up buying a meal with rice, fried plantains, and stewed oxtail. The food was incredible and as we were finishing our meal the employees brought out some flan on the house. The flan was incredible as well and it was nice to have such a great experience.
Overall, this restaurant has great food and is a great environment. The restaurant itself is a little warn down, but the food makes it worth it.

My husband and I went here for lunch a few days ago. The service was terrible and the menu was not great. We wanted to order a sandwich that was on the menu and when we went to order it, the waiter abruptly told us they did not have any bread. He did not apologize for the inconvenience in any way. Terrible manners. I then picked something else and so did my husband. The waiter again informed us that they did not have the item that my husband wanted to order. I have never been to a restaurant that did not have stuff available on their own menu. Finally he ordered what I was getting. We did get a lot of food for the price, but after all the ordering problems the food was just okay. We will never go to this restaurant again.
