My family just loves their gluten free pizza! Their gluten free crust and variety of toppings are the best we’ve ever had. However, the pizzas are a little pricey so we treat ourselves only once in a while.

Probably the best pizza in town. I only gave four stars because my garlic bread was a little over cooked. Overall delicious.

Yummy!!! This place is great and definitely deserves at least 4 stars! If you’re ever looking for a nice, but chill place to take a date, Amici’s is it! I came here with 3 other friends and we shared everything. Our party had a medium size of the Amici’s Combo pizza. It comes with sausage, bacon, pepperoni, olives and mushrooms. Loved it! I love the thin, oven baked crust. A tip for Amici’s… put the pizza on a breathable tray so we can at least pick it up somehow. Since the pizza is hot when it comes out of the oven, then placed onto a plate. the condensation makes the thin pizza crust soooo soggy, it’s impossible to pick up. Until Amici’s corrects this, you can try to fold the crusts together and eat it that way… or use a knife and fork. Another thing we ordered was the lasagna and meat sauce! It was HUGE! I am so sad I forgot to take a picture of it. It looked(quote from the table) *BOMB* We even ordered the small one, and it was definitely enough. It was topped off with a generous spoonful of meat sauce and it went so well with the lasagna. Yum, yum, yum. Lastly, we also ordered a small order of cheese ravioli with pesto sauce. I could have passed on this one, but the others seemed to enjoy it. This dish is just okay, and nothing really memorable. A medium pizza, two small pastas, 3 beers came out to $ 77 before tip. Oh– and for the service. It also wasn’t memorable. Our server, Shane, was good. Nothing to go crazy over, which is better than being crappy. Come to think of it… maybe 3.5 stars is pretty accurate. I’ve given this place numerous chances to redeem themselves. Unfortunately, they have failed me each and every time. I attempted to try again in hopes that they would send me a pizza that wasn’t blackened to the point it ruins the flavor. After spending $ 30 to have a cheese pizza delivered… I was presented a black pizza. I called and as politely as possible expressed my disappointment. The manager was courteous and offered to send another pizza asap. Hopefully this one will be cooked properly. Fingers crossed. Update. Manager made the situation right. My new pizza arrived looking great and within minutes of calling. The bottom was not burnt at all and the cheese sauce ratio was perfect. In addition, they gave me a certificate for a free pizza. In all hit or miss with this place but ultimately they will make their mistakes right if you identify them. My boyfriend is always ordering from here so I’m sure I’ll be ordering here again, even if I have to wait for a second pizza– it’s still quite good. Lastly, the delivery was super expeditious and friendly. That’s always a good plus when ordering delivery.

We have gone to Amici’s for many years, first in San Rafael, then in SF across from ATT park, then Vacaville. The quality is the same at every location, Delicious! Our fav is the Pesto with tomato sauce combo, we usually get a large take out so we can revisit a slice later in the evening. When dining in, we order a the caesar salad, they have an amazing delicious creamy caesar with fresh romaine and chunks of parmesan. Highly suggested! The large Pesto is a little pricey for take at at $ 27.00 but it sure is a treat for your taste buds!

I am typically not a fan of east Coast style pizza. to me the thin crust with the brick oven(burnt) taste just not do it for me. However I think Amici’s has won this southern born California raised girl over. During my last business trip to Vacaville I was looking for a quick place to grab a bit to eat. I whipped out my phone with the Unilocal app to see what was in the vicinity. I was a little skeptical of this place because the last 3 ½ star place that I ate at in Vacaville had my stomach doing flips. Anyhow I took a leap of faith and went in. Upon arrive I was greeted by a friendly serve that let me choose any table in the restaurant that I wanted. I was immediate given menus and the server offered to explain any of the items on the menu and give suggestions on food i might like. Though I di not take her up on her offer it was the sentiment that mattered. I ended up starting my order with garlic bread which was so good. It had a very rustic appearance and an excellent flavor. The potency of the garlic was not to over powering and the blend of the butter and the garlic used by Amici’s made this garlic bread to die for. I also order the Amici’s Combo and Pollo pizzas. I will say that I was far more fond of the Combo than the pollo because I feel that the Pollo pizza was lacking in the flavor department. I felt bland and seemed that it could have used more seasonings on the chicken. The Amici’s combo on the other had was great. The combo came with pepperoni, meatballs(thinly sliced), bacon, sautéed mushrooms, black olives. In true east coast fashion the crust was thin and crisp on the bottom. The Amici’s combo in sum was very good taste wise. I feel that it made up for the deficiencies of the pollo. As far as price goes Amici’s is a little more on the pricey side but i have always said that if you want quality you better be willing to pay for it. Frankly my pleasant experience at Amici’s with the food and customer service was well worth every penny I spent. If i could visit this place again I would and possibly will the next time I am in town. My suggestion for first time visitors Try the amici’s combo if you are not a vegetation. Make sure to get an order of the garlic bread with a side order of ranch on the side for dipping. Then after you are done with your meal sit back and bask in your sense of accomplishment for finding a great east coast style pizzeria on the west coast

The area was so nice. So my boyfriend & I decided to have lunch here. Seating was quick but the table next to us was dirty & wasn’t cleared until we were halfway done with our meal(& the place wasn’t busy). Proportions for the food were good=perfect. We ordered the caesar salad which was good EXCEPT the dressing was too much and watered-down. The croutons were also good but overcooked & hard. The server did not check on us/didn’t clear our plates until our sandwiches arrived. As for the sandwich(chicken pesto…), the bread was really good but the broccoli & mushrooms didn’t work well together. The chicken was dry. But overall the place isn’t so bad. It had a nice vibe & the location is great.

Planned on going to the outlets in Vacaville and decided to stop and get a bite to eat with my boyfriend. I ordered a side Caesar salad and we made our own pizza which consisted of pepperoni, jalapeños, red onion and garlic. Out came my salad and I was pleasantly surprised with the size since it was a side salad. It was enough for me an my boyfriend to split. Let me tell you it was the best Caesar salad I have had in a long time. Next out came our pizza which the owner who brought it out said it smelled delicious and it was. It was the perfect amount of heat and the garlic was an added touch of flavor. The crispy crust and perfect little pepperoni were heavenly. I can’t wait to go back. Also the service was awesome.

Great pizzas – loved the clam and bacon pizza. My kid ate half a piece and he’s really only a cheese pizza guy!

I think Amici’s is one of the best restaurant options in Vacaville. Vacaville tends to have lots of fast food places and not a lot of other options. We like Amici’s because we can get a fresh salad there along with delicious main courses. I especially love this Amici’s because of their hostess Jackie! I want to give a shout out to her because she is always SO friendly when we come in. My in-laws are in their 90’s now and move very slowly — she is very warm and caring when she welcomes them. We go to Amici’s now when we are in town visiting my in-laws. Food is great and so is the hospitality!

First time to any amici’s. Service was good & prompt. Pizza was good. Just make sure when you’re ordering the pizza to let them know you like it crisp but not burnt, cause ours came out 80% burnt on the bottom. We also ordered the quinoa & kale salad that had no quinoa at all. Don’t know if I’ll be coming back any time soon.

Love this place! Pizza is always delicious. Favorite is the Milano pizza. OMG, potatoes on pizza is so ridiculously good! The thin crust doesn’t bother me at all. It reminds me of pizza places back in MA. The ability to order on the app saves time too. Amicis is my favorite pizza place in the area.

I’ve always been happy with my experiences at the Bay Area Amici’s restaurants. The service is consistently good, a friendly staff and several vegan options from salads to pasta and pizza. The menu clearly lists the vegan & vegetarian options and they are also willing to make adjustments to veganize a dish. This location is conveniently in the Nut Tree Plaza so it has easy access to shopping and the Outlet Mall. I’m a bit hooked on the kale quinoa salad. The balsamic shallot dressing contains honey so if that is not a part of your vegan diet I substitute the lemon basil. Freshly made and refreshing. The pizza ovens do an amazing job of melting the daiya cheese to a wonderful consistency that I cannot achieve at home with my oven. I really appreciate the effort they make to offer a good, affordable meal that fits the eating habits of everyone.

First time visitor. Sure, I’ve been to Fenton’s and Fuji’s but never stopped in here. My dining buddy suggested Amici’s, and she hadn’t been there in about a year — yet recalled great food during her previous visit. That’s pretty impressive considering the passage of time. She recommended the pasta and we absolutely had to try the Tuxedo cake she had had before. Seated right away near the window, the waitress was good to recommend pizzas(mini) for my friend, and although the particular combination wasn’t on the menu, was able to accommodate my request for fettucine with meat sauce. The pasta was good, I did end up eating all of it, hearkening back to my younger all-you-can-eat-bottomless-stomach days. We split the order of Tuxedo cake which was pretty tasty, especially the chocolate frosting/icing. If I ever come back I’ll be sure to try a pizza or salad, or maybe the pesto pasta!

We have eaten here before but have never left a review. Tonight we had Penne with eggplant and the Gnocchi. Everything was really delicious. The eggplant was cooked with olive oil and was very flavorful. My wife added fettuccine sauce to her gnocchi and parmesan; she really liked it.

Pros — delivey was fast and my order was perfect. I always appreciate that! AND our ingrediants were really fresh! Cons — However after after our first amicis delivery, we will likely never come here again. We ordered the amicis combo and garlic sticks and, well… as you can see from the photos the pizza was burnt. Also the portions were small for the price.(I paid 29.00 for a large combo and 5.50 for breadsticks) there were 8 slices in a large pizza! Delivey to my address is convenient, but i will drive to roundtable before i order from here again.

Eh. I get that Amici’s is supposed to be a bit higher class but I wasn’t very impressed by my experience there. +/-THE FOOD I ordered the clam linguine with white sauce. The pasta itself didn’t wow me very much because it was very simple and plain. There honestly wasn’t any«sauce» that came with the pasta. It tasted like the noodles were tossed with olive oil and a bunch of parsley was thrown on top. I did enjoy how they gave me a huge portion of clams though. I tried a bite of my boyfriend’s pizza(Amici’s combo I think??) and it tasted just normal and it didn’t wow me. — THEPRICES Crazy expensive pizza and pasta. My pasta dish was around $ 13.50 and pizzas were just out of the world pricey. I think the mini pizza(which was über small) was $ 9, small was $ 14, medium was $ 20, and large was $ 24. I’ve definitely had way better tasting pizza for much cheaper. I wasn’t even really full after my meal so it was not worth the price. + THESERVICE My group of friends(7 people) came in very late on a weekday around 30 minutes before closing and the hostess was very understanding about us coming in late and sat us down immediately. She never rushed us even though it was closing time. Even as we were finishing, we saw other customers come in and the hostess still seated them and was very nice about everything.

Great, they can make ‘New York style’ pizza. But I’m a California boy and I like my thick crust, saucey pies. Located in Vacaville, the food here fell short *way short* of even meager expectations. Pass on this place for me…

Amici’s, you have yet another fan. I came in prepared for yet another massive pizza chain serving up steaming hot pies of mediocrity and left wishing you would open a location in Sacramento. Why? For starters, your gnocchi appetizer with butter and parmesan is a taste and texture revelation. Your artichoke panzanella salad, complete with classic tuscan bread, artichoke hearts, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, red onion, romaine, basil and capers is a magical medley of freshness. And your Amici’s Combo, with pepperoni, meatball, bacon, sautéed mushrooms and black olives is one of the freshest, most evenly-cooked, flavorful pies I’ve had in as long as I can remember. Throw in fine service and outdoor seating and this is a recipe I could repeat anytime I visit Vacaville, or hopefully when you open up a location in my backyard!
