We love Pieology. Went on a whim, been back more than once and brought friends. I love that my husband can get whatever he wants on his pizza(typically every single meat) and I can get some veggies and pesto on mine. Plus, with the thin crust, I can still have a slice or two post weight loss surgery. And that’s a bonus. Food I can actually eat that tastes good? Heck yeah!

oh no someone needs a food safety course! As I’m watching I see this guy cleaning up the kitchen area but wait what did I see? He goes and slices the pizza not washing his hands no cloves on. oh but wait it get worse he wipes his hands on his Ass. Yes he has a apron on but he choses the back of his pants. It gets worse I see him do this 4 more times not once washing his hands or putting gloves on. I think a manager or owner needs to teach the staff some safety when dealing with food. When I say manager no some kid that will joke about this. Btw this was the first time ever to a pieology pizzeria!

This is our first try of Piology. Service and pizza was great. The staff was friendly at this location and the pizza was cooked just right. Crust was crispy. It’s nice to be able to order a 11″ thin crust pizza with all the toppings you want for $ 8.45. Parking looks busy but there’s many empty spaces and it’s a holiday.

Chris, Justin, Katie and Anthony were very helpful with my selection of toppings for my dinner(pizza). They were attentive and upbeat, even though it was close to closing. I basically had the kitchen sink and my tab was only $ 11.22(pizza, drink + tax). I tried giving them $(gratuity) but they respectfully declined. They explained that it was corporate policy to not accept any gratuities. My pizza was delicious! These guys rock!

It was my first time at Pieology and all I have are good things to say about this place. I have an extreme egg allergy and the staff was very helpful with providing an allergy menu and nutritional facts. If you are allergic to wheat, soy, dairy or egg get the gluten free crust. All the staff are aware of your allergy and change their gloves before handing your pizza. They also clean the oven before cooking it. I’ve never had this experience before and I can’t appreciate it more! I’ve left places with stomach aches or worse. But I’m definitely coming back to this location. They really care and the food is great!

Found this place after moving to Vacaville. The pizzas are about 10″ each and the price is $ 8.45 I believe. Nice to come in and get whatever you want on your pizza for the same price regardless of how many toppings you put on. I wish there was a thicker crust option but that’s okay. Love how fast it is from start to finish. For us this is a much better option then some of the other chain pizza places. The staff is friendly and that makes it more enjoyable.

my sister and I enjoyed a nice lunch after our little shopping splurge at the vacaville outlets. unfortunately, the staff is not very friendly at this location. not a welcoming hi from anyone, not a smile, just a basic«what can I get for you.» luckily, they aren’t skimpy on toppings! the location is great, the space is fairly spread out. their bathroom is also clean. okay service with a full tummy.

What makes Vacaville’s Pieology stand out is their service to their guests. Despite the fact that customization is nearly unlimited(a huge plus), they also keep a clean store, clean service, and clean attitude! I actually hesitated to try Pieology for the first TWOMONTHS the store moved in! I doubted cleanliness and service due to the store’s small size and fast-food-like approach. However, all my doubts quickly vanished once I stepped foot inside the store. Pieology made a great first impression with a warm welcome while sustaining eye contact! Customization was not rushed and the number of sauces and toppings were astonishing. The price for a pie is flat rate, which means it never changes(kinda-I’ll explain). Once completed, I purchased my pie and in five minutes, my pie was ready and served to my table. Even on busy days, the associates still bring to you your order. At the end of my feast, I headed to the exit and was thanked for stopping by! A great lasting impression is what brings people back, like me! Pros: –Service with a smile. –Customization is literally limitless with tons of toppings to choose from. –Not to mention, all toppings are fresh and replaced if required or requested to ensure compatibility and quality. –Clean store and walkways.(Inside and outside). –Pies take five(5) minutes to cook in modern clean oven! –Regular dough and Gluten-Free dough offered at select price. –Nutrition facts offered(in Vacaville, as far as I know). –Clean restroom(Single/family size, not shared). Cons: –Gluten-Free Pies are two(2) dollars more. –Although service is fast, the store does get very busy and with only one line, wait time is extended. Patience is rewarded once pies are served! –Pies may be given to the wrong guest if the store is busy. At the checkout, ask for your Pie’s number before it is placed into the oven. Also, ensure the number card given after purchase is placed in clear view to the associates to guarantee fast delivery and convenience to both you and the associate! Final Rating out of ten(10): 9⁄10

Solid pizza. Love the custom options. High quality ingredients and a nice hot oven results in a fast well prepared pizza. Thin crispy crust. Throw on some ricotta cheese for added richness and yumminess. Another nice feature is the large number of beverage options including several caffeine free. Vitamin Water XXX and Powerade at the fountain. Salads looked good

For $ 7.95 you get to create your own with unlimited toppings or try one of their own favorites. I’m a fan of the Alfredo’s Alfredo(add herb butter– this was suggested to me by them), hence giving their service an A! At first it may seem their pizza is small, but to me, it’s very filling. I love the crispy crust. But be aware of some burnt edges, not too bad, but the burnt parts stick to your fingers.(Get plenty of napkins) My hubby created his own and he put a lot, a lot of toppings. Came out good but he said next time he will put less toppings… his eyes must have been more hungrier than the stomach. :) they have big community tables and a few separate tables or chose to sit at the high stools and a table stand at the front of the restaurant. Free refills so if you go as a couple, order one and you can save yourself that $ 2.

Review #444. Tried this new place at Nut Tree after a stop at the outlets… meh. Started with the classic margherita and added sausage. After communicating that to the first person behind the counter, she clarified that didn’t come with sauce and passed the pizza along. No one asked if we wanted any other veggies or meats in addition, into the oven it went(their claim is 5 minutes) and the cashier(only one register?) was fine ringing us up for the one pizza. Water cups are a decent size, 10−12oz and self serve. Pizza came out pretty quickly but it was more oval or «jellybean» shaped than circular, also evidenced by the shifting of the tomatoes to one spot, probably when the pizza was moved around in the oven. More so a flatbread in my book. The slicing was also very uneven, with one teeny slice(see my photo). Overall, it was just an okay pizza. Thin crust tasted good, and yes, the toppings we picked weren’t out of this world spectacular or indulgent but we were looking for something light in anticipation of dinner later that day. Not my favorite Build-your-own pizza place — I recommend Blaze(thin crust, 3 minutes, s’mores!) and/or Blast 825(thick crust, BYO salads, cookies) Pizzas, which are more toward Davis/Sac/Roseville areas. Pieology itself was very clean, interesting walls of random quotations, bathroom clean(single stall for each gender), outdoor seating as well.

Been here a few times during the lunch rush. Don’t turn away from the long line. The service is fast and friendly. I’m so happy they opened up a chain in Vacaville! For $ 7.95, you will get your very own customizable unlimited toppings personal size pizza! $ 1.95 will get you a refillable drink. I love how they have a lot of options! Coke, Sprite, Root Beer, Orange Soda, 5 types of teas, etc. The atmosphere is very bright and welcoming. Self sitting. Just think of a chipotle for pizza. I highly recommend this place. Especially if you and your group can’t decide on the limited 2 – 3 topping pizza, why not customize your own! Enjoy!

It’s like Chipotle– but for PIZZA! Unlimited toppings that are generously spread through the entire pizza. And it only takes 5 minutes! I am so upset that I’ve been missing out on this place. Step 1– Pick crust. You can do gluten-free for $ 2 more. Step 2– Pick sauce. I tried the pesto and it was amazing Step 4– Pick cheese. I did mozzarella. Step 5– Pick veggies. I did spinach, onions, basil, mushrooms, and olives. He really piled the veggies on! Step 6– Pick meat. I got chicken and he didn’t skimp! This place was also very clean and I liked that they had boxes out on a counter so you could just grab one in case you had any left overs. I will definitely be back!

As a big fan of blaze pizza I was especially interested in trying other places like it and I finally did so here goes my first impression of this place. First the customer service was excellent. There were about 6 or 7 people in line when I got there but the whole thing went very smoothly & the wait was not long at all. After we sat down it took about 10ish min to get our pizzas which were brought out to our table. After getting our food employees came around to our table several times to ask if we needed anything, which I thought was great. In terms of the food I was happy with the quality however, one thing I really love at blaze is their spicy red pizza sauce and Pieology didn’t have anything similar so that was kind of a disappointment. Overall however they had a good selection of toppings and even without the spicy sauce I would still come back if in the area.

I always wash my hands before I eat. Always. I entered this bathroom and it was not the cleanest. They also don’t have a purse hanger in the ladies room. My boyfriend and I ordered 2 pizzas. As we are waiting in line, we overheard them say they were out of pineapple, which is understandable due to the time of day(8 pm). We built our pizzas to how we wanted then paid. We looked for seating, however, most of their tables were dirty. As we were waiting for our pizzas, they began bringing out pizzas for everyone else– they gave someone near us the wrong pizzas and burnt a few, but compensated them with new pizzas, which was nice. We prayed ours would come out fine, which they did. Overall, it was sub-par. Wish that it was a little more clean. I recommend the pieology in Fairfield. It’s very clean and I felt like the pizzas came out faster.

Another lunch date with my girlie JK. Our first visit to the fastest growing restaurant chain at the moment. We were not disappointed! One size pizza makes it easy. Toppings, toppings & more toppings! Build your own from the bottom up! Pick your sauce, cheese and go from there! All for the same price of $ 7.95. JK wanted pepperoni and olives on her half. I had that along with mushrooms added. We kept it pretty simple; red sauce and traditional mozzarella cheese. The crust is thin and crispy. Tasty stuff! The crew behind the counter included Natalia, Kayla, Alphon, Darjenae and Jason. They were all nice enough, but Jason stood out! Very friendly and energetic! We enjoyed our perfect sized pizza with some ice cold water. Great addition to the Nut Tree shopping area!

Delicious thin crust pick-your-toppings conveyor belt style pizza. I finally made it to a Pieology. I have noticed them popping up in other cities that I frequent. Chain restaurants always concern me as many tend to be mediocre from a lack of quality ingredients and apathetic workers. From my experience at Pieology though I feel that the dough recipe is impervious to unskilled workers and that the pizza oven is a fully loaded hot mama that will make you think you went to Naples to get your pizza! The price is great at $ 7.95 per pizza with unlimited toppings. These are meant to be personal pizzas. So that means the kids can get their own with pineapple on theirs and you don’t have to pick it off! I got a little overwhelmed once I saw that there were so many toppings to choose from. My assemblers were really patient with me when I couldn’t decide too. For mine I chose basic red sauce, cheese and pepperoni and black olives. They popped it in the oven and it was done in no time. It was super hottt and I had to wait to eat it. It was truly delicious and I was full after eating ¾ of the pie. I can’t wait to go back and create a pizza with their Buffalo sauce. Beverages are basic fountain drinks. There are salads on the menu. The décor is simplistic with a hint of Napolese rustica like extra large wooden tables for big groups. One last thought, did they get their idea from Kramer in the Seinfeld episode«The Couch?»

Omg $ 7.95 for a pizza with UNLIMITED toppings. You hear that right! UNLIMITED! That means you can stack on as much vegies, meats, cheese, sauces as your heart desires. Pros: My friend and I ordered 2 pizzas and shares amongst three people and we walked away feeling stuffed! So their pizzas are a pretty good size. I don’t think I can finish a whole pizza on my own! Making your custom-made pizza was so much fun! We stacked on so many toppings that I thought our pizza was going to overflow. The result of our fully stacked pizzas was so yum yum yum! The crust was very crunchy and the toppings were good. Cons: I didn’t like how there was a lot of burnt black stuff stuck to the pizza crust, so maybe the oven should be cleaned more often? Also on a side note — During our meal, the employees took out a large duster almost attempting to clean the air vent while we were sitting directly underneath. We asked if they can clean it later since dust can get onto our food. They immediately took the duster away. Anyways 5 stars for the great deal and the good pizzas! Minus one star for the awkward air vent dusting that happened.

Extremely convenient. Located right off the 80 fwy in the Nut Tree plaza area. Parking is tight. Wait was about 30 mins. Completely reminded me of Chipotle. Same ordering concept, down to the décor and atmosphere. All the pizza doughs are somewhat precooked, and thin crust, you go down the line and inform the actually friendly staff what toppings you want as they decorate your pizza. They do have plenty of healthy options, as well as being gluten free. Yay G-free haha! The pizza is immediately stuck on the conveyor oven, and you are given your number and to find a table. We chose to eat outside which was decorated in balloons and beautiful sunlight. Only thing I wish they had was more salad options, or a salad bar. Oh, and buttermilk hidden valley homemade ranch. Bottled isn’t the same! It is NOT the same folks! Ha! But for your own personal 11.5″ pizza for $ 7.95, completely worth it! I’ll def be back!
