Beads On Main

I took a bead-​making class at Design with Fire in West Sacramento, and ended up with five beads that I wanted to make into something. I went into Beads on Main, and I couldn’t believe how great they were! Not only did they get me what I needed to make the beads into a pendant and earrings, they actually did it for me! And I couldn’t believe the tiny cost.
I have visitors from out of town today, and guess where we’re heading? BEADS ON MAIN.

I recently had friends in town for a visit and we stumbled upon this place. It wasn’t in our plans for the day but we wound up spending no less than three hours here!
Their bead selection is vast, prices are reasonable, and the best part was having a work table and knowledgable employees to help you create jewelry (the right way) from the pieces you picked out! Not having to buy the tools to take home and assemble was priceless!
I’ve only been once but I’m already eagerly awaiting the next time I can go in and let my creative juices run wild for a few hours :)

Wherever I travel (and I travel a LOT), I visit bead stores — Beads on Main is absolutely the best I’ve ever seen & they’re right in my hometown. Their stock runs the gamut from the usual bead store inventory to the original & unusual & hard-​to-​find stuff. The owners really want to offer a wide selection of high quality items from around the world, so they hand pick their stuff instead of just ordering bundles from China like some stores do. They always seem to have something new & exciting — it’s like a little treasure hunt whenever I visit. I usually leave with new ideas & inspiration. Besides having a great variety of beads & findings, they have a knowledgeable staff who will help you choose beads or even show you how to make simple jewelry. If you don’t have time to make it yourself, they have handmade jewelry to buy or use for ideas. They keep a large table available to make jewelry on-​site with tools & friendly helpers. This place is addictive! I have become a regular and am thankful they’re so close!

Best Bead store hands down in Vacaville! If you’re ever in the area, stop by. You won’t regret it!
