Skechers @ the Vacaville Premium Outlets Store front — I’ve been here a few times and as a few fellow Unilocal*ers mentioned, getting some kind of acknowledgement/greeting from a team member can be hit & miss… ‘Which can make all the difference in making a sale. — «Hi, welcome to Skechers, if you have any questions, need assistance, feel free to ask!» No need for high pressure sales tactics but a small bit of friendly customer service can go a long way. Simply by setting that precedence, you’ll help put your clients @ ease. I was looking at the various shoes and after about five minutes, was approached by Sarah, «Hi, can I help you find anything?» Sarah was very friendly, helpful, and answered my questions. 1. I need to verify my shoes size. Is there a way to check that?(Yes — Size 10) Photo — 2. Which shoes have the best arch support?(Slip on style loafers; has a different cut; stay away from the exercise/yoga shoes) Photo — 3. Do you currently have any promotions?(Yes, buy one pair and get 50% off the second pair) Photo — As I looked at the different styles, loafers, cross-training, causal, to work shoes, I asked Bobby, another team member a couple of questions as well. Like Sarah, he too was friendly, professional, and very helpful. I’m not a fickle shopper, I need shoes, I’ll find what I like, try ‘em on, god enough, then done. I’m not the kinda guy who spends two hours trying on every other pair and 17 pairs later, «Voila!»(That’s just too much like wok.) Photo — I made a few laps, saw a couple of shoes that I liked enough to ask Bobby if he could help me with in regard to finding one in a size ten. In fact, as I I was looking @ their«walk of inventory,» which is stacked to the ceiling just above the display shoes, I heard Bobby call out from behind me, «I’ll be right there!» Now mind you, I did not say anything or attempt to get his attention, I was browsing their stock for my size and the color I wanted… «First row, second from the top.» Way to look out, Bobby! Mahalo! I’m a huge Comic-Con, animation, sci-fi/fantasty geek and grew up on all things Star Wars… ‘Before the franchise sold out and make some that was rare & few to played out and cheap. — «Not so long ago, in a galaxy right here and not so far away, STARWHORES!»(Cue theme music) Photo — I completely understand Lucas wanting to revitalize the Star Wars franchise but @ what cost… George Lucas, pimping out the dark side.(Apologies, I digress. I blame the ADHD.) «Oh, and then there was this…»(Sigh) Photo — Thirty minutes and $ 90 later, I was headed back out. — «Easy puh’cheesy!» Overall, a solid three star rating. The Skechers Factory Outlet is a god place to find name brand shoes @ a fair price and decent savings. The service once you get it is great. However, they could be a little quicker on the draw as far as customer interaction. It’s alway good form to acknowledge a client shortly after he/she enters your establishment. — Big Aloha! This location has a pretty good selection, but not as much as the El Ceritto location. But anyways, they usually always have the buy one get one ½ off. Not the best deal but better than nothing. I like skechers. Some are more comfortable than others. But I love the new memory foam inserts. They are wonderful. They have a good variety of sandals, flip flops, boots, flats, athletic shoes so there is something for everyone. Most of the women’s shoes are pretty cute. I think they have some nice men’s styles as well. And the little girls shoes are so cute. I wish they made them bigger. I would def buy them. I have noticed they keep raising the prices. And I guess the quality is there but still, you can go across the street and get a paid of Nike for the same price or even a little less. However I do think for me skechers are more comfortable. I have wide feet and skechers carry wide. So anyways, go see what they have and try the memory foam!

I’m a fan of Skechers… Their outlet store always seems to have a buy 1 get the other pair ½ off. While waiting in line the clerk asked the other employee, «when’s the sale end» and the guy said, «it doesn’t»… hahaha… If you like these shoes, they have a good selection and it’s easy peasy…
