Ended up only having drinks. Menu is super expensive, and looking at the food they brought out to other tables it didn’t look like anything special. Service was excellent — seemed like the owners themselves were taking care of tables. Live music on the patio was not a bonus — they weren’t that good, volume drowned out conversation, and they begged for applause like Jeb!

Great little spot my cousin suggested after we got off the slops. You got to get the wings here they are kick ass and unlike I have had them before. Love the ski towns you can always find a cool little spot… though you pay for it.

Lots of locals and dog lovers. Cool bartender and staff made for a nice stop. Limited draft selection but it’s a not a huge place if it’s too cold to hang out outside. Really a great hangout if you can chill outside without some random dog drooling on your boots, I’d imagine.

Usually we get a great burger here but right after Christmas we went and their special was a turkey burger with sweet potato fries. They brought it mashed and not sweet potato fries. Worst turkey burger ever, smelled weird, tasted awful, looked awful. Chef did not seem to care as only gave me a different bun. I felt sorry for the waiter! It wasn’t his fault. My son had the nachos which mostly had chips, barely any cheese. I doubt I will go back unless that was a different chef.

Bart and Yeti’s is my kind of place. Dark, no frills type of bar with locals and tourists alike. We strolled in later in the evening on a Thursday evening after dinner to find a group of guys at the bar who were clearly feeling good. The bartender had apparently been about to close up until they walked in. So what did we do? Bought 7 fireball shots and passed them around and made some new friends. It was that kind of bar… talk to everyone and have a good time. We also met some locals there who had initially been the only two in there. Basically everyone in there was a friend by the end of the evening. And that’s why I’m a fan. No frills, friendly people, and a bartender who stayed open a little bit longer even when he was so over it!

I ordered the tuna sandwich on gluten free bread expecting a typical bar food tuna melt on some bread that would disintegrate immediately. What came out, however, was the best tuna sandwich I’ve ever had. The gluten free bread was robust and flavorful. The tuna was a perfectly cooked 1″ grill-seared ahi tuna steak, and the seemingly incongruous toppings of roasted red pepper, Swiss, lettuce and tomato, made for a shockingly delicious combination. And if that weren’t enough, the fries were perfectly thin and crispy. This sandwich has instantly won a place in my top five favorite sandwiches ever. I will absolutely be back next year. Thank you!

Ben coming here for over a decade. Love the Beantown vibe mixed with respect for NYFD. Ok beer selection, decent food, good atmosphere but seems like quality is slipping in service and food a bit could use a freshening to add a layer of hip to comfort. All that said, will be back again next year.

NORMYWINGS!!! Are you a 1% up in vail for the week wanting to throw cash at anything? You’re welcome here. Are you a local ski bum. Have a seat! I have gone to Vail for years and Bart’s is our stand by. This week we have eaten there three out of 4 days. We already feel like we are friends with the awesome staff. The food and drinks are priced so well that my stepmom had to check the price of the side salad after the one she got was HUGE! The beers are cheap, the staff is unreal and the food is simple yet they do everything at a high level. I recommend the Normy Wings. if you order wings any other style you should also strap on ski blades. The green chile is bomb, and so is their pineapple salsa which I had on my salad. On the register they even have the South Park mocking Unilocalers but I gotta give these guys props. Bart’s for ever happy 40th anny.

Worst meal in vail… burgers were worse than burgers at a grade school cafeteria… soda was unbelievably bad as well, no syrup… service was ok, far from great

Awesome bar in Vail where you can mingle with locals and travelers that have been coming to Vail for decades. The history, patrons, cold beer, great wings, tasty sandwiches and great staff will keep you wanting to come back for more!

Awesome local hideout with great drinks, friendly crowd, good food and all the NFL games. Perfect place to escape the mainstream skiing crowds. Gina was our server

This restaurant’s atmosphere is very nice, it’s in the heart of Lionshead in Vail. It is a very good looking place with art on the walls and such, it has sort of a cabin feeling. However, that’s the physical looks. The food wasn’t very good. I had the bacon cheeseburger and it tasted strange, like if it had been frozen for a while. It didn’t taste fresh at all. The fries, though, were pretty good. I would come back and give it another try, but I’m definitely not getting the burger again.

I sat on the patio and was greeted promptly. The cheeseburger and fries were outstanding and came out fresh, hot and quick. The waitress was very accommodating, as I’d just had a hip surgery a few days prior. Very friendly, casual and inviting atmosphere with reasonable prices.

Lovely waitress, mediocre to less-than-mediocre food. What does one have to do to get a decent, casual, mid-priced meal in Vail? I cannot recommend this place.

If everything costs about 30% less, this place would be better. The ambience is good. Good(but loud) live music. But considering the type and quality of food you get, it’s overpriced, even for Vail. Took a very long time to get beers but after that it got better. They do weird things like charge an 18% tip if you want want to split a bill. Just not very customer friendly overall. They act as if they don’t need to be. Which maybe they don’t. I’m just not impressed.

Visiting from Portland, Oregon for my best friends wedding and wanted a beer and burger and stopped in here. We’re pretty spoiled back at home with delicious foods at affordable prices and cheap libations. So being in Vail is obviously overpriced for everything. That’s just how the cookie crumbles. The service was wonderful. Everyone was friendly and our waitress was very attentive and sweet. I wish I could give a higher rating but the food is just average. For the price I was hoping for a little better quality. Of course it’s cheaper/dive for Vail but that doesn’t say much since Vail is just a pocket drainer. Nice outdoor seating, and again everyone we encountered on staff was friendly. The rating is for the food.

Love the patio! It’s a really neat setting to sit and eat in. That is why it gets the three stars it does. The service was awful. Which sucks because growing up going to Vail frequently, this seems like a new issue. Over priced, but everything in Vail is over priced. Just enjoy the view & pay no attention to the service…

What a fun après place! We were in Vail for yet another ski weekend a few days ago, and it also happened to be «Pink Vail,» a fundraiser for breast cancer research, so the village was packed and Bart & Yeti’s was no exception. We were actually able to get a table inside right away despite the patio swarming with people since it was a beautiful spring-y day. I can’t comment as to the quality of the food, but our beers were cold and our server was solid — despite being visibly stressed at how busy they were. I really like the ambiance in here, and love dogs so it’s a «go again» for me the next time we’re looking for a few post-slopes beverages in Lionshead.

Overpriced, subpar bar food. The burgers are soggy and taste very basic. The fries were not hot and tasteless. The nachos were dry and didnt include any sour cream or guacamole. We had to wait a while to get seated and the service was a bit shotty. I guess you can’t expect much more from restaurants in Vail Village with limited competition.
