So I will start by saying I am not one to give 5 stars, I am a 4.5 type of gal even when I am thrilled with the services. Because Bertha and the owner were so flexible and nice, and the owner honored a one time discount he didn’t even realize was still available, I rounded up to five as opposed to rounding down to 4.0. Must admit I was hesitate to switch salons, especially when it comes to color and highlights. Alas, I was desperate and could not fathom waiting another couple of weeks for an appointment, nor driving 40 minutes each way. Thankfully Bertha did a wonderful job with my highlights; she matched up the color of my old and grown out highlights almost perfectly without much information to go by. She listened and was very meticulous with every strand. The cut was great too. Being fairly new to the area, I am thrilled to have found a place close by with a veteran stylist and pro like Bertha. Prices are a little high, but the time I will save and the 5-day guarantee is probably worth it. I do encourage the owner to keep the discount from Unilocal available for 1st time customers. There are a lot of new families moving into Vail and this will help capture potential new customers. Thank you Bertha and Bavilon.

My wife and I have been going there for a little more than a year. We have always been treated very courteously. The quality of the hair care has always been excellent. I like that you can make an appointment on line. We will continue going there.

As anyone can see the owner is quick to respond to a bad review. But does not take any action as fault of their own. I never signed a thing during the consultation. I specifically said what was told to me by the stylist. There was No miscommunication between she and I. The miscommunication is between your self the owner and your employees. You do not admit to any fault for booking me under the wrong stylist and having me wait. I also do not understand as to what demographics you are referring to. Are you basing this on my appearance as a young hispanic woman? Because I can assuring you I have no problem paying for a hair service, when it is done correctly. I have already gone to a different salon where they are going to fix my very copper hair. I will be sending you the bill. I also have stopped 5 woman from going to your salon for any type of service. The word has been spread. This could have been easily resolved if you had done your duties as an owner.

Tried this place twice but was an expensive disaster. One owner did his best to make my cut and color right, but hairdresser was just not into it and had negative attitude and energy. The place is very clean and might have just been luck of draw but not happy with results and I know beauticians are not magicians but it was lack of positive attitude. They did redo hair but really acted like it was a huge favor when I got there and one owner had practically begged me to come back and try again while other owner and hairdresser rather arrogant

I have been going to this salon for over 2 years and think it is a wonderful salon. I have always been very happy with my color and my styling. the owner could not be nicer or more accomodating… I highly recommend you pay a visit to Bavilon. I guarantee you will be back!

Totally unsatisfied with my wife’s haircut and color. How are you going to color someone’s hair and tell them it’s their natural color? It was not her natural color by any means. Then the hair cut was just as bad. I recommend using and not forgetting their 5 day guarantee. They kept their guarantee and cleaned up her haircut. Make sure they tell you exactly what they plan on doing with the cost. We spent way to much money for slipshod work.

I’ve been going to this salon for two years now and Lisa does my entire family’s hair. The prices are reasonable and she always gives a great cut. The owner is very friendly and always has fresh coffee and baked goods there. I also get my eyebrows waxed each time. I like their online appointment system because I can book it when I remember at odd hours. Very happy and convenient in Vail!

I Was Unsatisfied With All Of The Chop Shop Hair Salons In The East Tucson Area Until I Found That Chuck & John Had Opened The Bavilon Salon In Vail. I Used To Live In Hollywood California & Was Very Particular About My Hair & Used To Fly Back there Periodically to Get A Satisfactory Hair Cut, But Not Since I Discovered Bavilon … This Is A Great Place To Go If You Are Fussy About Your Hair … I’ve Never Been Anything But Happy Since I Found Bavilon & Bertha My Cutter … I Have Been A Loyal Customer For Years Now & Have Recommended Bavilon To Several Friends, All Of Whom Have Been Happy Also With Bavilon … Ask for Chuck or John At Bavilon They’ll Fix You Up !

Edit: I see a comment from the owner was posted calling me a liar, so there. Negative a thousand stars for being a complete D. I have the emails to PROVE it. I’ll post them as a photo comment if it will allow. Screen shotting is my fave mr. «It doesn’t allow it.» The system obviously effing allowed it. Dense one. I should go down there and give you a piece of my mind. Old review: So, being new to the area around the holidays, you really don’t think about what day is what. I used their online outlet to book an appointment. Whoops, it allowed me to book on the first of the month. John calls me and says«I don’t know how you were able to sneak in» very rudely. «We’ve been closed for five years on that day.» Because I’m thinking about that when I’m trying to get my hair done, find a new stylist in a new area, unpack boxes, and deal with new jobs etc? It’s not my job to be an informed customer. It’s your job to make my life easier and stress free. As of now, I will never visit your salon. I will drive to another salon before I deal with your attitude buddy. I will go to a Regis before I come to you. I will box highlight(which wouldn’t be pretty!) before I come to your salon, and that’s sad because I was really looking forward to finding my new Cassidy. Not at this salon.

Attitude from the moment my wife and kid arrived. Asked for 1 ½ to 2 inches off from over 6 inches of hair length and my kid ends up with spikes. All we get is «sorry» and a ridiculous inflated price on a crappy haircut. Don’t sacrifice yourself. Stay away! !!!

The owner is super nice. I’ve had my hair cut & colored 3 times by Liz and she does a great job. I wanted a change, so I had my hair cut short for the first time ever. She gave me a cut I love and the perfect color.
