Finally made it out to Vail with some college buddies and this place became our relaxation central after a big day on the mountain. The place had great specials after the lifts closed, it was very inviting and the bartenders were very friendly especially to the tourists like me. It was a great experience to find such a cozy and welcoming bar after an amazing day of skiing. Late nights were fun too as the atmosphere was kicked up a notch with dancing, DJs and shot specials. Not to mention, how many bars play ski videos all night? Perfect! I will truly miss this place!

Vail’s finest Frat Party! This little place rocks. Obligatory flat screen TV’s looping snowboarding videos. Sexy barstaff Great soundsystem pumping– small packed dancefloor Top notch DJ Very crowded– almost to the point of uncomfortable– but if that’s what your looking for then this is your spot. **PROTIP= NOCELLPHONERECEPTIONNOMATTERYOURPROVIDER!** Be ready for a vacation away from everyone else

Nice hill side bar with live music to kick back and enjoy after a long day on the mountain. Pricey and crowded but I enjoy it.

I can’t believe it took me 10 years to finally venture into this place. It was packed on a Friday night during ski season, but the tunes were bumpin’ and the drinks were flowin’. Even if clubbin’ is not your scene(like ever), this place is a good time. Great music and a great crowd!

This bar reminds me of a frat party in college. It was recommended to us by a rad waitress but she added a comment that we should be really drunk already if we go there. There is no cover charge. The floor is sticky. Many patrons seem like this is probably the last stop of the night. It is a cell phone dead zone down there. This is where you go if you need lots of attention from the fellas, they come up to you in droves here.

Place tried to rip me off. 1st told me the the drinks were expensive because people always sneak drinks in, 2nd claimed to be the red lion after hearing us talk about debating to go hear a band(which ended up being the red lion) and charged a cover. We started walking downstairs, after realizing the entrance was going downstairs and not towards where the band was(not walking through the door) I said this is not where the band is playing and I want the cover back. Bouncer stated they don’t refund the cover and after arguing over being mislead and such. I finally got the cover charge back. I don’t like dishonest establishments.

I thought attending a wedding in Vail was going to break the bank… but then I happened upon Whiskey Jack’s and all my wildest dreams came true! What I love about this place is the laid back attitude that you would normally find in an inner city dive bar. It’s dark, it’s chill, it’s perfect! Friendly bartenders who do shots with you: yes please! Of course, the stripper pole makes the place ten times better than any other Vail establishment. Also, there’s a lot of space! It’s never a bad thing to have some wiggle room. I highly recommend the Whiskey shot/beer combo. I want to say that I spent somewhere around $ 30 for the whole night. Of course, the Whiskey is to blame for the fuzzy memory… so it must be good! There was also a decent selection of beer which just adds flavor to the already tasty experience. For the city boys like me and the gals who aren’t afraid to shoot whiskey(Carrie Underwood would be proud) this place is tops! If and when I ever make it back to Vail Whiskey Jack’s will be the número uno stop for me!

Whiskey Jacks has a great vibe. Its not pretentious and tries not to be a locals only place, although it looks like it would be. Look around when you get inside, there is more than there appears to be, including a stripper pole(men welcome) and a hidden non VIP chill lounge. I have been shocked on many occasion that I was not thrown out for some of the things I’ve done in Whiskey Jacks, a testament to it’s libertine character. this is not a fancy Vail place! Its got more of a skater/snowboarder style(Dive). Go else where if you want to pretend your rich for the night.
