The quality of service here highly varies depending on the time of day. During the daytime, the line frequently stretches out the door and they appear understaffed. However, the staff working are very friendly and the orders are accurate. The evening shift is a major problem. It’s amazing the lady at the register hasn’t been fired yet. Several months ago, I walked in and there was a line forming behind a customer. The cashier was engaged in a heated argument over the customer’s order. He advised her the order was incorrect and asked for what he ordered. They began arguing and the cashier began making a scene, going off yelling and screaming at the customer. The customer raised his phone and began videotaping her behaving like a lunatic. When I went to order, she repeated it back to me and it was wrong(she speaks very little English). I repeated my order to her several times, and she began arguing with me. I pointed to the sign next to me, which advertised what I wanted, and she still continued arguing and yelling at me. Other customers in line behind me stood and watched the second round of commotion. My order was wrong, but she insisted that it’s what I ordered. I stopped in last night and she was working again. She wears no name tag, but the name«Rocio P.» printed on the receipt. I placed an order for food and a beverage. The beverage order was completely wrong, as usual. I also ordered a sandwich and had a coupon. She couldn’t figure out how to get the coupon to work on the register and told me I must’ve used the coupon already. I told her I definitely didn’t use the coupon — and if I did, I would no longer have said coupon. She went back and forth, and 3 times, insisted that I already used the coupon. I tried explaining that the entered the wrong sandwich on the register, and that’s why the coupon isn’t working, but she began yelling at me. I told her nevermind, I don’t want the sandwich, just the beverage. She snatched the food in a fit of rage and slammed it on the counter away from my reach, as if I was going to steal it. Another employee came over, pushed a few buttons on the register, everything was corrected, and I got my sandwich. Never even an apology. This lady is highly rude and argumentative with the customers — I’ve seen it with numerous customers who did nothing wrong. Stay away from this place during the evening time — unless you’re looking for an argument.

This Dunkin Donuts location is always reliable and speedy. No matter how many times I’ve come here and no matter how long the lines can be(and they do get long) they always move things along very swiftly, and have not screwed up an order yet(well, now that I jinxed myself…). Even with large orders for my entire office staff, they always take the time to make sure they get it right Recommend this DD over others in the area for sure

VGDD(Vails Gate Dunkin Donuts) is about as good as it gets. at night it serves as the social centre for the Orange County Hardcore music scene. because its open 24 hours many colourful characters are attracted to its fluorescent glow in the middle of the darnkess of Route 94. You can meet Insomniac standing guy(who wont talk to you), crusty Homeless guy(who will ask you where you live, and if you reply Newburgh, he will say«thats not too nice»), Vietnam sniper guy(who cant tell you how many VC he actually killed) and maybe member of New Windsor’s Finest getting a cup of joe to keep on policing on through the night shift. the donuts at night are fluffy, delicious and never stale, and the counter staff is never asleep and always ready to serve you with a smile. they always have coolatas and gourmet 99 cent Iced Tea’s for you to enjoy. and maybe if you get to know the absolutely lovely counter staff well enough theyll hook you up with some Dunkin Discounts! all in all, VGDD is the crème of the crop as far as dunkin donuts are concerned! I highly recommend a visit during their prime hours of 1 – 5AM.

Among peers, this is a standout. The staff typically nails orders and occasions as other reviewers describe are rare — especially for regulars, where they know your order as soon as they see your face. That said, it is fast food — go in expecting French service and you will be disappointed. Compared to other DD in the area(looking at you, Washingtonville and Blooming Grove) these guys are rock stars.

This place needs help with new ownership or something. It’s right on my way home from a main road I take and just about every time I stop in they have no donuts. Double D needs to bring back those, «It’s time to make the donuts» commercials just for places like this. Just to clarify they don’t have«no» donuts literally but they are nearly bare where you literally have to settle for less if you want a dozen donuts. I drink my coffee black so unless they just don’t know how to brew black coffee, I haven’t had bad coffee yet from here.

While my experiences with this establishment haven’t been as bad as Tim M.‘s, this Dunkin Donut’s isn’t the best. But I think I can explain the scatterbrained actions of the employees: this place has been robbed on several occasions, and that will make anyone jumpy. While this location wouldn’t be my first choice for a cup of coffee(the parking lot is small and obnoxious, the store isn’t as clean as some), I’ve got to cut the employees some slack.

It’s a bad sign when the first emotion you feel prior to entering a fast food restaurant is fear, but this is exactly what happened this sunday morning. I have not had good experiences as of late at this particular establishment. Whenever I order anything at least one thing is wrong with the food and/or coffee when I receive it. Today was no different. I actually changed my original order before telling the dunkin employee what I wanted so it would be less confusing and less-likely to be messed up. I ordered two of the same sandwiches and two different kinds of coffee one black one light and sweet. I received two light and sweet. And anyone who has ever ordered a light and sweet coffee from dunkin donuts knows that it is basically a diabetic coma in a nice styrofoam cup. Hence ANOTHER reason why I change my order to hopefully get something relatively close to what I wanted. Black coffee being the closest to regular tasting. Bottom line: Do not go to this dunkin donuts, unless u like anything on the menu and coffee that tastes like candy. The people don’t ever seem to get orders right and when u have special requests their heads explode as if you just asked them to construct a double-helix right before your very eyes.
