My favorite pizza, hands down. Lots of cheese and very little bread. I have been going here for over 20 years. I didn’t give it 5 stars because of 2 reasons. They only do cash and they seem to close a lot for any holiday. Best to call and make sure they are open if it’s around any holiday.

It’s a nice little pizza shop in town. It is very small. It is inexpensive to eat there. I like the buffet and they make good spaghetti if you order it fresh. I don’t like that you have to pay in cash. I think they would get a lot more business if they would accept cards. I don’t usually carry cash on me and I don’t like taking money out just to pay for my meal. Also is seams like they don’t have many pizza options on the bar. I try to avoid pork so my only option is cheese pizza. I wish they would add mushroom or veggie options to the pizza bar.

Without exception, the worst pizza I have ever eaten! If you like wafer thin crust, a layer of melted rubber and a handful of pepperoni slices then this is for you. If you want quality and flavor go anywhere else! Oh, the wings are dragged through a flour mix of whatever spices fall off the shelf into the coating. Awful!!!

Giovanni’s Pizza is a rather small fast-food pizza shop in Valdese, North Carolina. They serve pizza buffet-style or you can order a specialty pizza to your own specifications. If you get pizza when it is fresh on the buffet, it’s pretty decent but nothing spectacular. The made-to-order pizzas are pretty good. The biggest turn-off I had with Giovanni’s is that they don’t take debit or credit cards. I live on my debit card and was rather shocked to find a restaurant in the 21st century that doesn’t take plastic.
