Amazing BBQ! Loved the mustard sauce! We had rib sandwiches that delicious! We almost needed a shower afterwards though, but ribs are messy, lol! He gave us samples to help us make up our mind and sent them with us! We could have made a meal just from them! Got to meet Sam himself, very nice fellow!

WOW Sam!!! Amazing ribs, pull pork and sausage. Right off the bat, we were offered free samples. We couldn’t get enough and took some home. Remember to stop for some cash. Friendly and welcoming, so stop off your long journey and get some gooooood BBBQ.

Fantastic ribs and chicken. Pulled pork and sausage is good too. Owner gave us free samples. Cash only but it’s worth it. Owner is very friendly. Lots and lots of food for the money. Baked beans with ground beef is great!

Being from KC we had high expectations at Sam’s and let me tell you he didn’t disappoint. The BBQ was great … ribs, sausage and pulled pork. We got a nice sampler platter and then filled the cooler to go. The mustard sauce was awesome, wish he’d had more available for purchase. You won’t be disappointed!

Generous portions, pulled pork and sausages were out of this world. Also the fresh Strawberry cake was delicious. Incredible service and hospitality.

I’m so glad we took the time to stop here while driving thru GA. It’s a hole in the wall with a smoker/​grill outside where the BBQ is made. The guy working there was very nice and patient with us, providing samples of the food at the counter.
The pulled pork was second to none and the the ribs were really really good too (get some xtra sauce on the side for the ribs). I’d eat here again in a heartbeat.

The pulled pork is phenomenal. The side items were delicious and the owner could not have been more friendly. I bought a jar of the mustard sauce because it was legitimate. Definitely stop here on your way through Valdosta!

Damn good Q! Some of the best around in my humble opinion. The only drawback is the location, it’s on the sketchy side of town.

Best BBQ, period. That’s why he wins the cook off every year. Don’t forget the extra sauce and Mac n cheese. Try the BBQ chicken sandwich for a great lunch. And look for Sam downtown at the cook off in August!

Delicious! The smoker is out front so you can watch the action. The guys working there are really friendly. The sauce is great and they aren’t afraid to put enough on it. I had the pork sandwich, chips and lemonade. Get the mac and cheese if you can!

I grew up in the mid south so feel I have experienced bar b q. It’s hard to find GOOD bar b q. This was just what I believe bar b q should be. We pulled up on a rainy night and two old barrel cookers were out front smokin. This looks to be an old gas station grocery store. They were already out of pulled pork but had ribs and chicken left. Sides were potato salad, green beans, mac n cheese and baked beans. The men behind the counter have us a taste test of ribs w the mustard sauce. This wasn’t your usual vinegar sauce. It was zesty w a little sweet. I also had ribs dry like I always like them and my partner had the reg sauce which was good. The main point is this is bar b q smoked the real way! They also fry chicken on the weekend and thy us a lasts of that. We were full before we got to our carry out meals. Definitely worth the stop!

Ok, if you can get over the seedy location this place is wonderful. We had the pulled pork and ribs all of which were really freaking good. This place seems to do lots of business (especially on the weekend) and even sells out of items. When we were there they sold out of some kind of sandwich. Oh and beware, they are closed on Mondays. Also this is more of a take out place than anywhere you would want to dine in, if there was any seating it was very limited.

Sam’s BBQ has THE BEST pulled pork I HAVE EVER TASTED! He offers homemade bbq sauces to pair with his perfectly cooked and tender pork. I personally enjoy the sweet bbq sauce! TIP: Don’t EVER try to eat Sam’s mouth watering pulled pork sandwich while driving! His pulled pork sandwiches are messy and dripping with sauce… just the way I like ‘em!

This is the Best Pulled pork I have ever had. It has amazing flavor and is a huge portion. I have met the two cooks and the guy who works the counter and they are all great people. Very friendly, especially coming from Atlanta. Their are some other friends of theirs around and everybody is just so nice. Must be something in the BBQ? I always stop here on my way up or down I-​75.
