So I went here last night on a date. Google said they are open until 2am on Saturday so I thought it would be a chill place for a first date. When we got there at around 10pm it was pretty dead. We sat down and the waitress came over to take our order. It’s hard to review this because our waitress was awesome so nice and attentive but the bartender was a total asshole. Around 10:30pm he started screaming«everyone get the fuck out» and saying how badly he wanted to go home and how dead it is. I asked the waitress and she said no we don’t close until midnight and for us to ignore him. This guy was so rude he went around to everyone drinking telling them they needed to leave and he is ready to go home then he started turning off all the TVs in the place. So feeling uncomfortable we left. We would have stayed longer if that guy wasn’t there. I’m not sure if the bartender was drunk or just a douche needless to say I will never be back.

Awesome food, great array of beers on tap as well as good bartenders to go with them, and an amazing sports bar environment! One of the best places in Santa Clarita to enjoy a game at. They have amazing happy hour deals on both food and drinks. Obviously the wings are superb but their fries/tater tot appetizers are incredible as well! The manager Sean is the coolest guy and really stays on top of things to make sure everything is running smoothly.

Monday night and was home. I have 3 enormous 6 ft 3 inches nephews who are hungry and want wings. I picked all of them and headed over to Big Wang’s Valencia. The place is strangely empty and it was only 8pm. Our waitress was nice and offered the specials. $.50 wing monday was all the kids wanted. They come in orders of 5, 10 or 15. $.50 if you wants ranch or carrots or celery. These beasts each got 15 mild buffalo and I got 5 spicy baffalo. We all split an order of the tots heartattach. These were so good. Tater tots smothered in Alfredo sauce and applewood thick bacon. So here I am, mind you I’m supposed to be on a diet and here come these wings. Not really diet food but I suppose I won’t complain once I’m stuffing my face with all of this. As the wings were coming these boys eyes were gleaming. And I didn’t even get to take a picture. Everything was great and even though these boys can eat, they had a difficult time finishing them. Bad thing is you can’t take any home if you buy them at the happy hour price. I managed to take one pic… The end.

I’ve been to this location several times and the one thing that’s consistent is that the service is HORRIBLE! I’m here right now with a friend and and our server rarely comes to check on us. I’m in the restaurant business as well and this place needs to retrain thier servers on the steps of service! UNACCEPTABLE!!!

I am not a huge fan of the food here but the service, the atmosphere, and the Tvs are all 5 stars plus! Best place in town to watch the game but you must get here early because it is a small place and definetly fills up!

I like this place and we go here a lot. At times the crowd can get a little crazy loud and drunk… Prices are decent, the one thing that gets me so annoyed is that the servers never know about the beers they serve, they dont know the difference from a IPA to a brown Ale… It’s a sports bar/hot wings spot, you gotta know your menu!!!

They say they close at 12 and we walk in at 11 and politely ask if they’re still open and some bald guy named Brandon rudely said«NO» and ignored us completely. Never ate there but rude service already.

We came here for Sunday night football to meet some friends. Since we live in Lancaster we don’t usually come this direction, but were meeting in the middle based on the recommendation from our friends. Unfortunately there were so many issues our friends vowed to never come back so it’s likely we won’t have anything bringing us this direction again either. Starting with the good aspects, their happy hour had plenty of options for both food and beer. We tried the boneless wings which were large tenders that had a good flavor, and were juicy. The spinach dip was good, but nothing really beyond a basic dip you would expect. We both just had Shock Top which tasted fine and was very reasonably priced for a happy hour special. The TVs were new within the last few years, and good quality for watching games. The sound system was also setup well to be able to hear everything clearly on the patio. Now for the negative aspects. We joined our friends about 20 minutes after they arrived, and when our waitress came over she took my fiances drink order and then turned to leave until I caught her attention to let her know I wanted something as well. This happened with the food also where she tended to our friends and then went to leave without even glancing at the other side of the table. I ordered nachos from the menu that listed all of the ingredients included, and even clarified one portion, and was brought something with different ingredients I didn’t want. While our waitress apologized at the end of the meal(much appreciated) it still felt like it was a problem when I first spoke up. Everyone at our table who witnessed the interaction said it felt argumentative regardless of me saying I was basing my order from the menu and it wasn’t what I received. I preferred to just cancel the order at this point and we didn’t have any issues taking it off of the bill. There were several other issues with our friends experiences, but they were already detailed in another review so I won’t reiterate. Just my personal experience was enough that I don’t have an interest in going out of my way to come back with so many other options available in the SC valley during football season.

Sweet sports bar, good fun, plenty of 60″ monitors, good food, great selection of craft brews on tap, bar manager was so accommodating, got us a table inside pretty damn quick, but less than friendly waitress, to bad she couldn’t at least fake a smile, or take a group photo for us, I’ll be back but she won’t be our waitress next time… I’m usually an overt tipper, just couldn’t do it this time, it would’ve been like, letting her know it’s OK to be a grump !! This rating shoulda been a 4! Next time… PS I had to take our own group shot, so I’m not in it… Oh well!

If you can handle spicy I highly recommend the Cajun buffalo sauce boneless chicken! Lemon pepper sauce was most of my party’s favorite choice but I like spicy. Service was good staff was friendly.

(Dined 06÷23÷15TU @ 5:00pm): I may’ve sprung a «big wanger» for the happy hour prices, but I went slightly limp on the taste and a glance at the regular prices! I pulled into Big Wangs for some early happy hour splurging before I caught up with an old friend and retrieved a gift from last summer. Since I no longer worked in the area, there were few reasons that drew me to the SCV/Awesometown. Was this sports bar worthy of an extra trek through the congested Newhall Pass!?: Taco Tuesday Specials($ 1.00×3) — A choice between beef or chicken, I had one beef and two chicken street-style tacos. With a small pile of meat(there was more beef than chicken), a dollop of salsa verde, a smattering of diced cilantro and white onion, and a sprinkling of cheese all atop a pancake-sized corn tortilla, three bites of each and they were done. Although the meats were moist, soft and cooked well there wasn’t much flavor or seasoning, so I added some hot sauce that was placed on the table. They were worth a buck, but definitely not regular price whatever that was. Hot Wings($ 6.00HH) — These were actually FREE with a Unilocal Check-In AND a $ 10 minimum purchase. A five-piece appetizer with a selection of sauces you chose from, I went with a hot Cajun Buffalo sauce(they were out of their currently-promoted ghost pepper sauce — WTH!?). A steaming plate of bright orange-red chicken parts came out with a container of watery ranch dressing. These were truly nothing special, but the sauce was surprisingly hot! But come on…$ 1.20/piece at happy hour prices(I believed they had a $ 0.25/piece deal on another night)!? Shock Top Orange Wheat and Franziskaner Beers($ 5.00HH x 2) — During happy hour, for only a $ 1 more you were able to upgrade to a 22-oz. drink from a pint — BARGAIN! Nothing like a cold extra-tall one on a hot day. The overall selection was decent at best, but I’d recommend this deal! I guess I had«something» to return to… Service — I was kindly greeted by a male bartender and Ashley, a cute shorty clad in an Anaheim Angels Pujols tee and booty shorts, who appeared to be the lone server during the entire time I was there. I was told to take any seat/table(I picked a centralized one to all the TVs), Ashley gave me the lowdown on the menu and happy hour, and minutes later she came by and grabbed my order. My drinks and food came out rather quickly. As the place got packed, she held her own and managed to work the floor effortlessly; I wanted to buy her a drink for her hard work! I had no complaints here. Parking(Free) — Located in a large outdoor shopping center that undulated over and covered several blocks along The Old Road, there were plenty of spots; no street parking needed — ’nuff said. Atmosphere, décor, ambience — A simple cramped boxy storefront with a bar directly to your left as you entered and walked through the small waiting area, three walls with booths and tables butted up against them, and the rest of the floorspace filled wall-to-wall with tall tables and high chairs. Some promotional items hung from the walls and placed at each table. A hint of natural lighting came through the tinted windows, but electric ceiling lighting mostly lit the place up. TVs were EVERYWHERE(sound turned down) while rock music blarred in the background. Attire — Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. Overall, I definitely wouldn’t go out of my way for Big Wangs in Valencia. The food wasn’t all that and a bag of chips(not that I expected it to be, but a bag of chips might’ve tasted better), but the prices made it even less appealing, EXCEPT for those on the happy hour drinks. I felt the service was good, and it certainly didn’t hurt that Ashley was easy on the eyes(just smile more, please). I found good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above(total paid experience was around $ 20.00BEFORE discounts and tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice… AMEX! 3.0STARS

In the past I’ve loved going to big wangs, I love the buffalo chicken quesadilla and was looking forward to having it for dinner tonight. NOTTHECASE!!! We arrived at the restaurant and first stood at the hostess stand to be polite… 11 min. Later, 4 waitresses that walked by, bartender looked me in the eyes… And NOONE approached us, nor said anything to us. So we walked out. Worst service ever!!! So unfortunate because I love their food. Def. not going back… I’ll definitely drive the 30min. And experience a real big wangs experience in north Hollywood.

I’m sitting here as I’m writing this review hungry and extremely disappointed. The service is ridiculously terrible. We waited 25 minutes AFTER we got our food for napkins and utensils. Which means the Mac n cheese we ordered had been sitting here getting cold whilst waiting on our waitress. The girls finally get here and the stuff tastes like powder. The cheese literally has clumps of some powder mix crap. By far the worst Mac n cheese I’ve ever tasted. As far as the wings go, pizza hut’s are twice the size. I will not be returning to this joke of a business. Edit: this place is great if you’re down to pay $ 30 for a headache. Really folks, I really would have rather sit in traffic and pay more money at another place if I’d known better

WTF? I use my credit card here and they charge me 7 times? I contact the manager and tell him what happens and he tells me it’s his new POS(piece of shit) system. Doesn’t apologize and acts like it’s not his problem. Now I’ve been to other Big Wangs and have never experienced a problem, but this location seems to be the black sheep. I guess it all starts with the manager. I should have expected that from a place that serves mediocre food and service to match! The place could use a thorough cleaning, too. Everything around me seemed sticky with grease. I give this place 12 months before they close down.

Went here on a Wednesday at noon for lunch. Place was nice and quiet at that time which is nice because usually they are pretty busy and that can affect service times. I like the wings here mostly because they are meaty and they have some good selections for flavors. My fav is the Rochester. I mixed it up with Teriyaki and classic Hot. I always order them crispy by request otherwise they can tend to be kind of soft. Also gotta order up the tater tots on the side with cheese — yum! I know it’s just tots but where else do you see tater tots on a menu. The menu is very much bar food with wings and burgers dominating. There is a full bar with a few dozen beers on tap. They have daily happy hour and different drink specials on different days of the week so you can get a deal. Parking is easy and there are restrooms inside for patrons.
