Had the pancake sampler and it was an amazing meal. I tend to get my egg scrambled but a little easy and only a very few breakfast places get it right. Egg’s and things is on of those places. No only was the bacon sausage and no brand pancakes delicious but the wait staff was caring and attentive. Even with a 10 – 15 minute wait it was way worth it.

At first the place looks small and overcrowded, however their breakfast is great, very good and well presented. Not your typical ihop.

Great food and great service. We got there after a visit to the Valencia Farmer’s Market. The place was packed and had several families waiting. Luckliy, there were just myself and my wife, so we got seated fairly quickly. the place is too loud, but the staff are friendly and professional and the tables got turned over quickly. I had the Chicken Enchilada omelet and my wife got Corned Beef Hash and Eggs. She got hash browns and asked for grilled onions to be added(which was 50c extra, BTW) and I got their Country potatoes with no bell peppers. I thought my potatoes were supposed to come with onions, but I didn’t taste any. Both portions were large and quite tasty. We now have a go-to place for breakfast. Still looking for a great Sunday Brunch that is on after noon. What is that all about? Recommended.

Good little breakfast spot when you’re in the mood for breakfast or brunch in the SCV. I’ve been here a few times on the weekend and there was usually a wait of at least 30 mins to seat a party of 2 – 3. They bring out complimentary crepes which are simple, light, and delicious! I had the banana pancakes and the California Scrambled. The food comes out quickly and I appreciated that the CA scrambled wasn’t overly greasy and heavy. Honestly, the food isn’t amazing, but there aren’t many options for brunch in the SCV so Eggs and Things ends up being one of the places I bring my out-of-town-guests if we’re ever craving brunch.

Once again I found myself in Valencia and looking for a good breakfast for my son and I. We have been to eggs & things before and liked it, so the decision was easy. We had a short 10 minute wait then we were quickly whisked to our table, fully set up and ready for us. My son was quickly pouncing on the complimentary crepes that were dropped off to our table as we proceeded to order the main part of our breakfast. I went with the enchilada omelette with a biscuit & gravy on the side and my son went with the pancake breakfast. Food was just O. K nothing really outstanding but tasty and properly prepared. I think the standout thing here is the amazing service. You are never in need of anything, attention is on the dining room from the waitresses to the busboys quickly re-setting each table the second somebody leaves. Attentive service and solid food will definitely bring me back, Aloha

4 stars because it was fast seating, fast service, i ordered the Breakfast burrito, and it was ok, eggs seem under seasoned as well as the beef. Habanero salsa and sour cream made it better. But overall 4 stars.

Great, quick, friendly service. Nice, family-friendly atmosphere. Came in for breakfast with the family and they gave us a table outside, away from the crowded indoor area. While we waited for our food, they gave us complimentary crepes, which was nice. Very good, tasty food.

Came here for bfast and i can say that its a much higher quality from Dennys like bfast theme :) So heres what we had: Eggs n Things Benedict(there’s a hint of citrus flavor) & Machaca Scramble w/corn tortilla! I even bought my mom a Eggs n Things mug ^^

«Because you know I’m all about that crêpe ’Bout that crêpe No treble» The smartest thing Eggs ‘n’ Things ever did was give out complimentary crepes. So, despite the plethora of breakfast places in the SCV, when I ask my kids where they want to go, it’s always, «Hey, how about that crêpe place?»(Only thing smarter would be to re-name it «The Crêpe Place».) They have awesome omelets(try the Florentine — spinach, mushroom, swiss cheese, ham, topped with hollandaise); eggs and thick thick bacon; crispy Belgian waffles; and real oatmeal(not that instant stuff). If we get there at 8 am we get seated immediately. If you get there at 9 or later, expect a big crowd and a decent wait.

My absolute FAVORITE breakfast/brunch place in Santa Clarita. Even though I’ve been here so many times, it never gets old. My dad and I love to come here after a long bike ride on the nearby paseos. My favorites include the Eggs benedict, California scrambled, and cinnamon roll French toast.(I’ve honestly never hated anything else I’ve ordered though) I prefer the O’brien potatoes to hashbrown, but to each his own. Bonuses: Service is always great and each breakfast meal comes with a free crêpe!

First of all let me preface this review by saying I L O V E diners. I don’t know why, but I just do. I’ve been to many diners in my lifetime and it’s really a hit or miss. Glad to say, Eggs N Things was a hit! Just the name makes this restaurant unique! I didn’t realize how big this diner was until they sat us in the back. The«Eggs N Things» theme continued throughout the restaurant with chicken/roosters floor to ceiling wallpaper! There were also framed photos of chickens and rooster all over. Also many framed still art of fruit. I like the randomness. I ordered an iced coffee which was served in this huge coke cup! My friend and I both got the vegetarian eggs benedict with country style potatoes. It was good, but the benedict sauce was cloyingly lemony. I am all about the citrus, lemon on everything! However halfway through my first benedict it just became too much. I do really like the vibe of this place and I’ll definitely be back to try some more egg dishes!

Tried this place for the first time this morning. 30 minute wait but didn’t mind because good food is worth the wait. So here’s my mini breakdown: PROS: they have an outdoor speaker so you’ll definitely know when your table is ready, the pancake sampler was good – 2 fluffy, yummy pancakes, 2 slices of bacon, 2 links of sausage(sausages were meh) and two eggs, good coffee, complimentary Swedish pancake(it’s a crêpe), cute country décor, quick and nice waitress for the first 20 minutes. CONS: I get that this place gets busy but if you want a relaxing breakfast, you may want to take your food to-go. Things move fast here. Be ready to order the moment you are seated. Food came out within ten minutes, another ten minutes later we were given our check. I seriously timed this. I was still working on my food(surprise, surprise) and wanted more coffee but felt so rushed. The kicker was when my husband went to the bathroom and one of the hostess, without saying anything, took the chair he was sitting on. I mean, seriously? Anyway, we just asked for a box and gave them their table, minus chair, back. Quickest 25 minutes ever. Breakfast was good and that’s what we came here for, so yes, still 4 stars.

Good for weekdays with the family for brunch, on the weekend this place is packed. Service wasn’t as I expected for the area. I ordered coffee and water for my brunch I was very surprised that the cup I received for coffee bad oldish coffee stains on the outside. My wife asked for a new cup they brought one back quickly. Food was simple I got the waffle with strawberry wife for some kind of sandwich. I guess I expected more from this location being that their is a huge wait every weekend for breakfast. But I payed $ 24 for breakfast for two so not bad Good Eating

I am a lover of breakfast. I recently tried this place after so much success eating at another highly Unilocal rated breakfast joint in the area. This place was pretty much equally rated, so I thought I would check it out next time. Well Unilocalers, that time finally came. Eggs N Things is in an awkward retail strip area that was kind of far from the freeway. Somehow, I managed to get a perfect parking spot. I took this as a good sign. I walked in to see people waiting, but the bar was open. I went and sat down by myself. My waitress was incredibly prompt. She popped up quickly, got me my drink, and took my order upon her return. I LOVED how quick the service was. They got that part right in my book! Soon after, a regular older man sat down and started telling me about his grandkids and the rest of his family. The whole staff seemed to know him. It was cute. Great places often have local regulars, so this was a good sign for my upcoming meal. Then my crêpe arrived. It was okay, but I make better ones at home and so do some creperies I am aware of. It was a cute gesture. Then the food came. I ordered the blueberry pancakes with bacon and scrambled eggs. Yum! The pancake recipe they use is delicious. Sometimes diners have rubbery pancakes that lack flavor… this was not the case here! My eggs were good. My bacon was definitely above average. My only sad comment is I wish there were more blueberries in my pancakes. In fact, someone who ordered the waffles next to me had their plate show up and I immediately regretted not ordering strawberry… fresh and plenty of them! Overall, it was a great price with quick service and left me more than satisfied. I will be back to this charming breakfast spot. I can feel it.

Eggs N Things is easily one of my favorite breakfast joints in Santa Clarita. I’ve tried several different breakfast items on the menu, and I have yet to be disappointed. My personal fav is between the chicken fried steak + eggs and the Spanish omelette. I love the special touch of having a complimentary Swedish pancake while waiting for your breakfast. It’s like having dessert before dinner! ;) The menu is pretty basic and has almost everyone’s favorite breakfast essentials. There’s generally a wait on weekend mornings, but that’s expected from any breakfast/brunch restaurant. Skip the wait and order for takeout. Check out Eggs N Things for their great breakfast + the cute rooster wallpaper!

Ok. Lets start with waiting. Excessive! Service. Mediocre! Food. Ok but the prices are outrageous!!! I got one banana pancake(as a side order for my steak and eggs for $ 4.50!!) My boyfriend order toast bread as a side for his breakfast $ 2.25 when its ussually complimentary with the food! Just writing so you wont be dissapointed like I was!

So after a long drive from SF to SoCal, we are tired and hungry and everything in between. We Unilocaled food and this place was the only place that draw our eyes, so we inputted the address into our gps and off we went. There was a 5k run? i think going on, so parking was a little of a nightmare. When we finally park, the wait seemed pretty long, but they flipped tables quick and we were seated in no time. So let’s start with service… our waitress was amazing. She kept our beverage filled and always came to check on us if we needed anything. I had the corn beef with a sunnyside egg and hash browns. I was a little disappointed in the corn beef but it was diner food, so I had nothing against it. I would have like a more crispy texture on the corn beef but it was seasoned well and with the potatoes, who can hate on corn beef and potatoes? I wanna say my friend ad the huevos rancheros and it was delicious. I should have gotten that. Overall, experience was good. We didn’t have expectations so all our needs were met. The service was amazing. And OH! They give this wonderful complimentary crêpe pancake and it’s so good. I killed it in seconds!

Ahh it feels good to have amazing breakfast! Everytime I visit home I try to make in this place! The staff is amazing the food is beyond delicious and the crepes… well can you complain about a free crêpe??? The place is packed no matter what time you go being that their only open for a few days. The wait time however goes fast… my experience is usually when they say the wait is 20 min I get called within 10 min. I’ve tried a good variety of their breakfast menu and I love the eggs Benedict! The servings are large and I can probably share the plate with someone… but I don’t ;) I haven’t had a chance to try their lunch menu but I’m sure it’s just as good. Other than egg plantation on the other side of town this is my go to place when I visit Southern California. If only we could bring this place up north!
