I was charged 16.38 for two gallons of milk, I was over charged what a rip off. I called the store they said bring it back to do a price check, how much will I spend on gas. Pissed.

We had a set of 2 cakes, cupcakes and cake pops for my daughter’s first birthday last month. I sent a picture of what I wanted the caketop to look like and she did exactly that! In addition, she made the cupcakes and cakepops all match the same theme. It looked BEAUTIFUL! As for the taste, everyone LOVED the cake and the cake pops were a hit. I received a lot of comments about how good it tasted. I got a variety of flavors for the cake/cupcakes and everything I tasted was yummy! Very, very good! I am really glad I found a local bakery. I’ll definitely be using them again in the future. Also, prices were reasonable. Highly recommended!

Needed to update my review b/c I stopped by for their ‘Pop-up’ event yesterday. I enjoyed a Turkey Pesto and spinach on french roll(6.50). The bread was yummy and soft, it didn’t cut the roof of my mouth like hard bread can. I also tried a banana chocolate muffin, it wasn’t as big as I expected given the price(2.65). The streusel was pretty sweet, but I enjoyed the muffin part.

They are not open every day anymore, but you can still place orders for cakes and catering. They also may be doing popup events with a limited menu. Follow them on Facebook for event details. There is a popup event tomorrow

I’ve been back twice since my first experience was so great, and I was not disappointed! Same nice lady, same EXCELLENT baked goodies! They have different things all the time, they don’t bake the exact same things every day which is kind of cool. Their prices are incredible, I can’t believe how far your money goes therefor such excellent treats.

Because I’m a procrastinator, I failed to order my sons birthday cake in a timely manner. I called around to the other specialty bakeries in Santa Clarita and they all told me they needed 1 – 2 week heads up! I finally called Scrummy bites and they said they could make a Batman cake by the next day! The woman I spoke with was warm and accommodating. I ordered and picked up that next morning. Not only was the cake ADORABLE it was DELICIOUS! I will never go back to the other bakeries. This place is the best!

We had a two tier cake for us and cakes as centerpieces on the tables. Here are the results: Our cake was BEAUTIFUL! I gave Christy the ideas I had and she captured my ideas perfectly. It was such a relief knowing you could trust someone with something so important to the wedding. Everyone raved about how the venue looked with the cakes as centerpieces. Again, I gave Christy the ideas I had and she made it come to life perfectly. Everyone raved about how the cakes tasted. Some guests tried all 3 flavors. I highly recommend them for sure. It was such an important part of our special day and they came through better than we could have ever hoped!

I found a local bakery that is fantastic! I ordered a cake for a friends birthday, lemon cake with coconut frosting, my instructions were simple: Make it pretty. Not only was it classically beautiful it was delicious! It was TALL — 4 layers, and it was moist. EVERYONE loved it. They did an amazing job. The girls there were very nice and helpful. My new favorite bakery — I’ll be ordering all my cakes from them. YUMMYBITES!

I don’t know where I ate compared to these other reviewers. The food I tried wasn’t 5 stars, even for a casual eatery. I tried it 2x and am just not impressed. I wanted to love it because I am all for small business, especially a small business owned by a woman. Also because there are way too many chains in Santa Clarita and baking is a lost art. Here is where things went wrong. The first day, I used a Unilocal deal, 5 for 10.00. I ordered a tuna melt, bag of chips, snickerdoodle and lemon cooler bar. The tuna was really tasty, but the bread was thin and flimsy and couldn’t support the tuna. I also consider a tuna melt to be like a grilled cheese sandwich with tuna. This melt was like toasted bread with a slice of melted cheese and some lukewarm tuna. The snicker doodle and the lemon cooler were stale. The second time, I used a living social deal(10 for 20) and went with my wife. Since I liked the tuna so much, I decided to get it again on a regular sandwich. I asked if any of the breads were homemade and was told NO. I don’t know why I expected homemade bread at a bakery. My wife and I had sourdough and it was cold and hard. I for one do NOT like cold bread on a sandwich. Its a known fact that the fridge draws moisture from bread and speeds up the staling process. I got the soup of the day(chicken and wild rice) and the soup had a thick layer of fat on top. Very greasy. We also got a brownie, peanut butter bar and choc. chip cookie. The brownie was really cold and thus you couldn’t taste the nuances of flavor. The choc. chip cookie was stale and the PB bar was the ubiquitous no bake bar made with PB, graham crackers, powdered sugar with a layer of choc on top. The brownie recipe tasted like Ina Garten’s outrageous brownies. The special of the day was a pesto pasta salad. When I asked about the ingredients, I was told, pesto, pasta, spinach and peas. I’d bet that was Ina’s recipe too. Pesto, Pasta and Peas. Classic recipe. I was interested in getting that, but was told I’d have to wait 10min because It wasn’t made. It was the special of the day and I was there at lunch time. I thought that was kinda odd. Another thing that turned me off was seeing all the ingredients that they use out in the open. I recognized brands from Smart and Final, trader Joe’s and Costco. They should repackage the items in plastic containers so that they aren’t vulnerable to bugs. If you’re going to shop at Costco, please get the La Brea Telera Rolls. I also hate that paper they wrap the sandwiches in. I have that same paper at home and I use it to line Tupperware containers when I bake. Its also used as a basket liner in more casual restaurants. I think the sandwiches should be wrapped in parchment. Nothing was really«special», everything tasted like something I could make at home. The Farmer’s market has great produce and other items that would make some great salads/sandwiches. I think this place has a lot of potential, but there is a lot of things that need to be changed to make it 5star.

Their croissants are DIVINE! The desserts and other sandwiches we had were just okay. But I could go everyday for a croissant! Their prices were really reasonable too! It is not an actual restaurant, it is just a counter inside of a bakery where you order.

Absolutely fantastic scones, probably some of the best in Santa Clarita(Starbucks, Coffee Bean, and Peets can’t even compare). Buttery and delicious and not too sweet. I think the only place whose scones can compete is The Tea Gardens– or I guess it’s Tea Elle now. I can’t wait to try other items on the Scrummy Bites menu! The bakery is a little out of the way, sort of hidden in an industrial center in Castaic. It’s little more than a hole in the wall, but please don’t let that discourage you from trying it out. I just wish that the bakery opened a little earlier in the morning and that it was open Saturdays. It’s hard to find times to get there during my work-week, and I’m afraid that if this is a difficulty for other customers too(coupled with the bakery’s secluded location) the business might not make it. I don’t want this place to go out of business! I’d go back for the scones if nothing else! Go there. Do it. Do it for Scrummy Bites. Or for me. Either one works.

I ordered a cake for my niece’s baby shower. I was very pleased not only with the cake but also with the price. The ladies at Scrummy Bites were so accomodating they made a beautiful cake that everyone enjoyed eating. Thank you Scrummy Bites you’ve earned my business.

I had some cookies and a cupcake from Scrummy Bites and they were soooo good! My cupcake was really moist and the frosting wasn’t too sweet. It was perfect! The cookies were big, crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The owner was really nice and mentioned that they only use fresh ingredients, and you can definitely taste that they do. They also serve breakfast and lunch, so I’ll be back! The place is grab and go, so no seating, but it’s convenient and quick.

After a long day of roller coasters at Magic Mountain, I felt the need for some dessert before going home. I jumped on Unilocal and found Scrummy Bites in the near vicinity. Though a bit off the beaten path, we found the bakery. The croissants are a MUST have! Everything looked great and we will definitely be back next time we are in town.

My wife and I were at Scrummy Bites for the Grand Opening. Since I prefer savory over sweet, my favorite bites were the Bow Ties with Pesto and Chicken Salad Croissant. My wife loved pretty much everything but she can’t stop talking about the Honey Cake, in fact, we’ve already ordered one for this weekend. In house brewed coffee is to DIE for! This will be our go to place for future occasions. My new favorite Bakery! Quality product and ingredients, must have.
