Wokcano

The service was horrible in addition to the food not being fully cooked. I understand if a waiter is overbooked on tables but you need to find a way to make the service work for the paying customer. This place needs to step up on customer service and cook food better.

I’m not a cheap ass, but I don’t like paying for anything that is/​seems way overhyped for what is truthfully overpriced and lacks real quality.
I stopped going to Wokano because I hate the mall, and I could get better sushi at another place down the street. It’s only good for convenience, but do take the drive to go somewhere better.
Servers are always passive-​aggressive, and typically not very attentive.
I don’t have much to say only because I think that Wokano is overhyped, and doesn’t live up to it’s reputation.

Servers are HORRIBLE! They are mainly male servers in the Bar area who are not attentive DON’T BRING THE BILL, CALL YOU DEROGATORY NAMES because they think you skipped out on the bill when ACTUALLY they are so HORRIBLE they never picked up the bill in the folder with the CASH in it! NOW, WHO’s the Dumb «B?» Threats to Arrest our group would have been a great law suit when the camera would be pulled to see the servers nowhere in site. How employees like this are able to keep their jobs astounds me. «MIKE» the reason why this place has only 3 stars is because you condone the behaviors of your lame employees. Eventually, you will be found out and forced to move on. I hope you will learn from your behaviors when someone like ME sue you civilly.

Two stars only because I liked their sushi, but other than that all the other food wasn’t what I expected. It looked good when I had it in front of me but as soon as I tasted it, it was just so plain!!! I left so upset, because I expected better and especially because the food looked good when it really wasn’t.

I’m at Wokcanos a minimum of 3 – 4 times a month. I’ve brought lots of friends & family here & have never been disappointed… until Father’s Day. My husband didn’t feel like leaving the house so my son ordered dinner to be delivered to our home (½ mile from the restaurant). 2 ½ hours later, after my husband had a very disappointing conversation with Jeff, the manager at that time, our food finally arrived. The delivery man was embarrassed as he listened to Jeff (on speaker phone) sounding so arrogant & indifferent about the food not being delivered in a timely fashion. All in all, the food as usual, was very good but the manner in which the manager handled the situation left a bad taste with us. Had that incident NOT Occurred, I would’ve given Wokcanos 5 stars.

Love this place and the chill vibes. Always friendly staff, tonight had Courtney waiting on us which was great! I had the spicy crab tempura roll and a beer, both tasted great and were brought out quick and on time. I go here for a sure thing on a good meal and awesome service every time like tonight. Great food and amazing service. We’ve been there 3 times during the past month and I must say that every visit was great. Their sushi are really good! Keep it up.

Hadn’t been to Wakcano for a couple of years but wanted to give it another try. The night started with a couple of cocktails which were good. Had some sushi, not the greatest and the ordered some of their dinners. The filet mignon was amazing, the asparagus and white fish was also good. My daughter ordered the teriyaki chicken which was unfortunately really bad. Tasted like a frozen chicken fillet that wasn’t heated up all the way, still cold inside. The sauce was on the side so it wasn’t even cooked in the sauce and it came with some sad looking green beans all for $ 17.00! Thankfully they took it off our bill. Have to say that we were a party of 5 with three cocktails total, two specialty sushi rolls, three dinners and two cut rolls and spent $ 180.00 not including tip. Guess that’s why we don’t go very often!

Honestly I have never been more annoyed with this sushi restaurant in Valencia. There are at least 20 different sushi restaurants in Valencia and I go to THIS 1 to get kicked out. Wok is known to be open till 2:00 and that’s the reason why I’m here. But, the managers think it’s okay to «flick» the lights on at 1:30 AM. I don’t know if you all know this, but Wok closes at 2:00. So why would a restaurant turn on the «time to get the fuck out» lights on at 1:30? ON A SATURDAY NIGHT?! We are trying to party for a graduation party and homeboy manager is trying to close store down early?! Honestly I don’t get it. Not only did this restaurant loose an hour of revenue, but Wok is going to lose a solid group of people to schooners. Wanna know why!!! BECAUSE THEY DON’T TURN ON THE LIGHTS EARLY! YOURE IN THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY FOR A REASON.

The food here is great, the place can be a little on the pricey side. I came here today and I ordered the garlic noodles and substituted the chicken out for shrimp. It was really delicious. My only complaint is that it cost $ 2 more to change chicken out with shrimp, a little annoying, but overall great food.

Came here with a girl friend. It was okay. The guy servers were very attentive and friendly, but we had so many I lost track of who our server was. I had the cream cheese crab wontons they were okay. Nothing spectacular. I then ordered the California roll it was good, again nothing spectacular. My friend wasn’t too impressed with what she ordered either. I really love the ambience of the restaurant it’s super clean and trendy. I might be back. The food felt so sad and made with no love. The kind that comes out of food chains. You get me? It’s decent. I’m not going to lie. But I didn’t have a food orgasm. I was about to try one of their alcoholic beverage but read the other Unilocal reviews that said they under pour.
We will see if I’ll be back. The cooks didn’t look like they were happy working in the back maybe that’s why the food was so sad.

Got lied to by Google maps reviews, and it being «Zagat rated». Was looking forward to something decent, for lunch ordered half oysters, which were tiny as hell and only ok, Sashimi combo, rainbow roll, hot green tea, and miso. The miso was alright, the tea was served in the stupidest cup that stayed hot forever and wasn’t refilled until the end. Chopsticks were the worst quality I’ve seen in awhile, kept splintering. You don’t want to put that around your lips.
The worst part was the fish used in the Sashimi. I’ve had a lot of good quality and decent stuff, but this place shocked me on how bad it is. Fish felt fresh… fresh from the freezer. Rubbery, super watery, no flavor, salmon color coming off on the plate. The salmon was the worst, just felt so wrong when it hit my tongue. I hope I don’t get sick. Disgusting. First time I ever refused to finish sushi because I completely lost my appetite. You couldn’t pay me to finish.
Also, they took forever to get the food and process the check. Don’t be fooled by the décor, this turned into a nightmare.
I’m in a bad mood now. The price is what I would expect of decent sushi, so what a rip off. I’m expensing it anyways but such a waste of time that I could have used to go elsewhere during my lunch break.

My second time here and it did not disappoint. I really am liking Wokcano more each time I am there. The atmosphere is great. During the day the huge windows light up the dining area and sets a casual feel for lunch. As the sun goes down so does the ambient lighting inside. Candles on the table set the mood for a more romantic dinner out. Top 40 music plays to keep the vibe fun and upbeat.
Another plus was I have had great service here. I get right, had great tables out of the way and private… and our servers were awesome. Attentive and didn’t disappear. They were also very polite. Nice to have that potential obstacle off my mind when dining out.
Ok so let’s get down to it… the FOOD!
I obvi came back because I enjoyed the food here… duh. This time around I got the California Roll and Black Pepper Beef Mignon. The Cali Roll was good, no surprises there. I added on some spicy mayo for a lil kick in the crab. The Black Pepper Beef Mignon was really good. Lots of big pieces of beef lightly sauteed in a delicious sauce tossed in with cuts of onions. The beef was tender and lean — very good. I even ate up the onions because it tasted so good. The portion was big enough to share too. I ordered up the Crazy Fried Rice on the side as well and that too was big enough to share. The rice was good however I only wish it was more sticky so it was easier to eat with the chop sticks. It was like regular rice all fluffy and soft.
The drinks from the bar could be a tad stronger too. Martini was just meh, and my Ginseng Mule drink was pretty sweet — couldn’t taste much vodka in it.
Had a great time and you easily forget you are right outside the mall. I’ll probably be back for more.

Love the ambiance, the fresh flowers are a great touch. They have great bartenders.

It can get a lil noisy during a major sporting event at the bar. The crowd usually settles down quickly, not rowdy or rude. It’s a good time!

This is 3 star review and not 1 only because I have previously been here and received great service. Plus the food is always good. Here is why our experience this evening may have ruined the chances we will return.
1) 4 woman/​workers at the front desk chatting it up with each other… way too busy to help seat or even acknowledge us.
2) Took over 12 mins to even get a staff member to offer drinks… they also told us they would try to find our waitress… that took another 5 mins
3) waitress (angelica i believe) literally took forever for EVERYTHING! It was 9pm and by no means packed or appeared to be overly busy. If they were short on help… Maybe one of the 4 staff members just hanging out at the front could do something?
4) the restroom was DISGUSTING! It’s obvious it wasn’t checked/​cleaned for many many many hours.
Again, the food is good. Maybe this was an off night…

Pretty bummed. I had been here for great happy hour previously, but this time i had picked it for my future in-​laws for Mother’s Day. The bill came to $ 200 for 5 of us which wasn’t terrible (we did have appetizers, main course, 2 drinks each and dessert).
I know it’s a big holiday but one person’s food came 30 minutes late and they forgot another person’s rice. At least they didn’t charge us for either. But it really ruined the meal. In my opinion it should have been a discount of a little more than 10% of the bill. I never got my water refilled either. If you can’t handle filling a restaurant on a holiday, DON’T FILL IT!

My followers know that I like to dine alone. I came here today, alone, for lunch and experienced the dreaded «solo diner abandonment.»
On top of it, when I asked the waitress for more water so I could finish my lunch, she gave me *attitude.* it was all I had to drink and I had been sitting there for 8 – 10 minutes dry.
I had the sushi lunch combo, and it was good quality, but bland, which just added insult to injury.
Im so glad I had cash today so I didn’t have to wait for Miss Surlypants to process my card. If I had exact change I would have left it. As it was, she got a little over a buck for a tip. I hope the latte she buys with it gives her the runs.
On the way out I asked the hostess to get the manager for me. I waited 5 minutes and left. I just didn’t feel like dealing anymore. Will not be back. Do not recommend.

If I could give more stars I would. The ambience is great. The service is great. The food is beyond great!
The food is so delicious it melts in your mouth. Best Asian cuisine ever! Never have a tried something as good as this. I had the beef and broccoli my husband had the lamb and our friend had the orange chicken. So delicious. Desert was amazing as well and the wokano pear cocktail is delicious. Our server Mike made it a wonderful experience as well. He made us feel very welcomed. We will be back for more.

As a regular concert goer, you know that you don’t have that many food options after the concert is over. So when you know that there is a place that serves great tasting sushi and is open late, you know you are in heaven!
That is what this place was for us tonight. Their food tastes amazing and they are open until 2 in the morning. The décor is sooo pretty and the ambiance is very cool. I loved their crunchy roll and their garden salad. It came with a delicious ginger dressing that was out of this world.
The service was attentive and friendly. There was really nothing that went wrong with our dining experience tonight. That is why I gave this place a 5 star review!!! Wooohooooo…
