Acme Transfer and Storage Inc

I find it odd that both Amanda and Ronald have the exact same reviews of the same companies. I am a longtime frequent user of Unilocal and am concerned that the process has been allowed to be tainted by obvious biased untruths that appear to be a personal vendetta against a longtime locally family run business.
Acme has been the go to mover for numerous military families for many years and run by Mr Bob Roberts with honesty, integrity and a philosophy of solid hardworking customer service. This is the legacy he left with his son and grandson, who have the same passion for his business he did.
You want to be moved by a company that handles your items as if they were their own or their loved ones? Call Acme you will not be disappointed!

Acme won the bid to move us overseas after my husband’s retirement from the coast guard. We read these reviews and were naturally a bit concerned about our upcoming move. we contacted the company and spoke with Roger, the manager, who assured us all would be well taken care of and several days later he came in person to our home to do the pre-​move inspection. The days of packing and moving arrived and to Roger’s word, the crew of Bobby, Victor, Scott and Sonny
were phenomenal. The packing was so well done and moved at the pace we’d requested such that we could keep track of all the inventory easily. All the furniture was so well wrapped and prepared for the crates and subsequently expertly stacked within that I have little fear about the safety of the contents including my $ 10,000 piano. Save a natural disaster or container falling into the Atlantic
I feel everything will come delivered on the other end without a scratch thanks to these guys.
We’ve moved at least 6 times throughout my husband’s career
far and away these were the most professional movers we’ve encountered.
This move thanks to roger was the least stressful although it’s the most
Complicated move we’ve done as ultimately our household destination is far away. Roger spared us a lot of anxiety.
I’m sure there’s a lot of others who’ve had similar experiences with Acme but have not taken the time to record their experience. When you’re moving, you’re busy. And there are only a handful of bad reviews but these guys of over a hundred moves a year. We truly felt we owed it to roger to counter what’s been posted here. I would give without hesitation our highest recommendation.

The guys that are based out of vallejo are awesome movers! They arrived on time to deliver our supplies, and the first thing they did was introduce themselves. They were helpful and friendly the whole time. They even made jokes and made my laugh, which quite honestly just means that they go the extra mile.
When people love their job it shows, and these guys definitely love their job.
Their names were: Joesph, Joe D and Sunny.

Our stuff was in storage here from Buffalo, NY for 4 months. When they came to deliver our stuff we were missing half of it. Mostly clothing, shoes and handbag boxes. Some motorcycle parts and funiture. Some things were damaged such as chairs to dining room set and gas tank had a huge gauge in it. When I was trying to resolve this issue I had to make many phone calls to them and delt with amanager Shane. He wasn’t helpful at all then just handed me off to his General Manager… who has yet to call me. We moved with the coast guard and we have them horrible reviews so they don’t use them again. Also, the movers didn’t put together anything like they are suppose to and they didn’t lay down anything to protect carpet and just walked all over it with their dirty boots. I HIGHLY DO NOT reccomond anyone keeping storage with them. They will not help you and the movers were ok. but quick to leave.
