Great service always with a smiling waitress and the food is delicious. Best kept secret in Vallejo!

Hairy food. Pretty bad service. Food took 45 minutes to arrive after ordering. Was not worth the 45 minute wait plus the additional 45 minutes after ordering. The wait over at Momo’s is comparable, as is the food. It only took 10 minutes for the food to arrive at Momo’s. Plus at Momo’s the Bacon doesn’t have a hair in it.

I love this place. The crab sandwich is not as good as before, but I am still going to give it 5 stars for service and ambience.

Ate here a few times. For the price it is good, but beware — lot fatty stuff on the menu. Then again, it tastes pretty good.

Pricier than most joints, but I’d go back. Good country gravy, a bit goopy but more meaty flavor than most gravy mixes. No soda fountain; you’ll get a warm can and a glass of ice… which will all melt once the warm soda touches it, leaving you with watery, lukewarm soda. Thick cut bacon, but you only get 3 rashers. Go for the cornbread or biscuit.(I recommend the biscuit with a side of gravy.) Country potatoes, hash browns, or fried rice. Friend rice is pretty good but REALLYSALTY.

Don’t pass the mustard. Hahahha. We saw that this place was a nicely reviewed local business, and being us, we wanted to support local businesses. We came in and we were seated after 15 minutes, which is fair. Although what wasn’t fair was the hour and 10 minute wait for our food. And disappointingly when our food finally arrived, we were missing the bacon and hash browns and had to ask, in which the waitress said it was coming. Then when my friend reached for the mustard, it wouldn’t come out. The mustard wouldn’t come out. Why? Because the nozzle was filled to the brim with old mustard crust. Ok… So the mustard was bad. We asked for another mustard bottle. THATONEWASCRUSTYTOO. MUSTARDWOULDNOTCOMEOUT. Our third one was finally the charm. Not cool. But at least we had some dang mustard. I wish that was it, but it’s not. Another problem we had was with the grilled cheese I got. I was so disappointed when I got it, it wasn’t grilled like they described it on the menu; the cheese didn’t stick to the bread and was totally still in tact. Lukewarm. Lastly, 5.75 for a side of bacon?! Really? Maybe I wouldn’t feel like that was pricey if the food was delivered decently. Don’t always let Unilocal reviews bring you places. 4 stars doesn’t always mean the restaurant is 4 stars. Wanted to leave without giving tip but that’s not how I roll, I guess. Don’t come here. Go to Momo’s instead.

The food is a little pricey here, I paid $ 20 for omelette and coffee which was their special of the day. The portions were good and the food was solid but not necessarily spectacular. My biggest complaint is the service. The ladies were very nice however they were spread a little thin and weren’t able to come around as much as they really couldve. This was frustrating because the hostesses were just standing around whole the waitresses were busting their tails. All in all I’d say food was a 3.5 service was a 3, anf vibe was 5(aside from the crazy lady and screaming child that sat next to me).

Good day café is a must in Vallejo! If you’re looking for a café with a nice casual ambience that has freshly made food cooked to perfection, Good day café is just that. Prices are decent. Awesome customer service. They even have $ 1 toys they let little kids choose from if they finish their food!

Absolutely love this place — great food and a favorite for the locals, too. Definitely try the chicken fried steak, but I haven’t had a dish I haven’t liked yet. I’ve never had any issues with friendly and timely service. Cindy and her team have been a part of the community for many years and the café always has a family-type atmosphere.

Mothers Day!!! I was expecting a lot more ppl but it wasn’t busy @ 8:30. So my young daughter and I were sitted quickly I look @ the menu and waited for my waitress… And waited and waited about 15 mins before she came to get my order. I looked to see a guy who came on alone who got there after me already got his order. I thought maybe he’s a regular but still wasn’t too happy with that then when our food came it wasn’t hot!!! So I wasn’t happy with that either. And my toast never came. I love toast!!! So by the end of the meal I wasn’t feeling like I was getting the Mother’s Day treatment and I told her about my Unilocal check in and she never put that on the check I just paid left a note and I was out of there. I understand what today represents but can I get a little good service oh a good a flower yay!

Positive notes: the breakfast was absolutely delicious and generous. Huge, thick strips of bacon, fluffy biscuits, hashbrowns, even loved the«hot pepper» sauce on the table. Coffee was good. Negatives: the food took FOREVER… do not eat here if you’re on a time crunch. Our waitress was the most heavyset one with glasses and played the ditzy part well. After 20 minutes of waiting she didn’t stop once to check on us or give status on the food. 3 different waitresses noticed my empty coffee cup before her and each came over to fill it for me. It’s not very«café» priced, but then again this is California. I would come again for the food and hope to get a different waitress on a not so busy day.

So we went back last on Sunday of this week at around 11:00am. Totally, nice coffee smell in the air, friendly greeting, lots of activity. Just what you would want to see, lots of smiles too. The waitress we had from our first visit actually remembered us and came over to our table to say hello, nice touch. Sundays are crowded everywhere so be prepared for a wait but it was not unreasonable. Our food was hot, tasty and generous. Our young waitress was attentive and she really tried to accomodate us. What else can you ask for? I will be back again.

Once again thank you Unilocal for a great find. We wanted to stop at Momo’s café but they had a hand written sign on the door stating they would open until 10:30… We found this place on Unilocal and decided to give it a try. I was surprised to see that the place was nearly full when we walked in. The service from the start was awesome and everyone was friendly. My wife ordered a hot chocolate and the whip cream topped with sprinkles could be a meal of its own. I ordered the corn beef hash and the wife ordered a scramble with gravy sausage eggs and biscuits. I forgot the name of hers but who cares it was delicious. The homemade salsa gets 5 stars, we had to ask for more. If we are in the neighborhood, we will be stopping by again. Things happen for a reason and I am glad we found this place.

Great service, the food was really good. Pricing wasn’t too bad, and the environment of the restaurant was a at home feeling. Our Waitress Remy was the best, she suggested some places to visit up here, since we came up from San diego for a couple days I would definitely come back =)

3 – 4 stars for food. Solid 5 stars for service. Ben, the host, was wonderful! He was super friendly and really made my morning brighter. Kali, our server, and Miss Rose(who was actually a server from another station) were both really great as well. I had the French toast combo with eggs over easy and bacon. The eggs weren’t overcooked and the bacon was crispy which was great, but I wasn’t that impressed by the French toast itself.(3 stars) 4 stars for honey butter. I drowned my cornbread in it. My friends had the chicken fried steak, poppa Lola?(The name is something like that) omelette, and a chocolate chip waffle. Presentation was on point and everything tasted pretty okay to me(3 stars). My friends thought some their food was 4 star worthy so okay. All in all, we had a good experience and would definitely return here to eat.

Best breakfast in Vallejo! I order the garden omelet and sub the spinach for hot links. The hash browns are never at fault. I also go for a side of the breakfast finedenne fried rice, sooo good! Not to mention that they serve Moschettis coffee, the best there is! Great place. If they made their own bread and used local farm to table produce they would get 5 stars.

This is in a really nice area in Vallejo, the water dock is right down the street walking distance. Small, but very spacious on the inside. I got the«Good Day Omelet» not my favorite, I’m just going to say I picked the wrong dish. My girlfriend loved her country style fried steak. Only complaint about that was that gravy was to thick. Going to try this place again, but will order differently next time
