Multiple times my husband and I have visited this Jamba Juice as we have family that lives in Vallejo and multiple times my husband has specified that he wanted all the drinks well blended. Multiple times now, he was ignored and we received drinks with large chunks in them. Aside from the one time where my toddler choked on a large piece of fruit, nothing has been as bad as the ones we received yesterday. Our drinks, especially mine, was not even drinkable because the drink had been barely blended and trying to suck it through the straw was impossible due to large chunks of fruit. I drank what I could and threw the rest away. When I worked at this Jamba Juice in 2006, we had to say«hello» the moment that a customer walked through the door and we were trained and told to never sacrifice quality. Clearly management has changed and these people just don’t care. Every time we go it’s an issue but to me this is an issue we’ve ran into at a few stores. Jamba Juice isn’t cheap, when you pay money for something and make a direct request(a request you shouldn’t have to make because it’s a freaking smoothie) why would any employee feel they have a right to ignore that? I was able to handle the drinks alone when I worked there with long lines and a full store and never sacrificed quality. We used to let it go through one cycle, shake it up and then start it again. Now they do the once over and call it a day. I just wrote a complaint into the corporate office and hopefully I can get a refund and some changes will be made. No customer’s money should be taken lightly no matter how little or how much they spend. $ 20 basically down the drain.

Don’t believe the non-hype. Of the three locations within reasonable distance, this is the one which makes my pineapple dream machines as if they are on a billboard and up in lights. My energy bowls are always made properly; never too much ice/peanut butter/greek yogurt, which the others have done to me multiple times and absolutely RUINS it. I’m met with smiles, and I feel compelled to come even though I own a vitamix and keep hella fresh produce on hand. I’m a very frugal person, so me welcoming and regularly incurring an added expense says a WHOLE lot!

I’ve come here twice, and both times I was cheerfully greeted by the staff when I walked in… pleasantries were exchanged while I waited for my order, and was encouraged to have a good as I exited. Today was Christian & Christine, the names from the other day unfortunately escape me right now. Great experiences both times.

My experience is a lot different from the previous reviews, I originally wanted to get 2 Acai smoothies, since they have 2 variations now … the cashier was kind enough to explain the difference and I opted out one to get a mango chili smoothie per his recommendation and said if I don’t like it, he will make something else. I hesitate with trying a new drink with Jamba because I do not like wasting $$ on it. But today he made me feel comfortable and I actually enjoyed my drink. Overall great experience. Fast and friendly. The only downside is the mango chili smoothie was not completely full to the top and I forgot to input my number for my rewards. Maybe they can have an app like Starbucks that lets you pay and accumulate points on your app.

I love Jamba Juice and their product, but this location had me under the impression of such shitty customer service. To begin with, I walked through these doors unwelcomed. I ordered my usual small Peanut Butter Moo’d with extra ice and whey protein, which is supposed to come in an up-sized cup because the additives I chose make the drink a few ounces bigger. When I got my order I noticed that my smoothie came in a small cup instead of a medium cup(which is one way you can tell if they added your whey protein boost or not), I was confused. So I kindly asked the team member«is the whey protein in here? It’s supposed to come in a bigger cup» the girl just looked at me and said«oh, sorry» –and that’s all she did. There was no offer to fix it or anything. I mean, it’s not a big deal that I was a little ripped off and they threw out quite a bit of the smoothie that I paid for, less sugary calories for me– but at least have the decency in your customer service to address the problem and do something about it. Customer service is everything, especially at a place like Jamba Juice.

If I could, I would give zero stars. I walked in with my sister on June 20th, 2015 around 3PM. We ordered three drinks, ALL juices, not smoothies. As we were waiting, the 4 – 5 people who ordered after us were receiving their drinks. We had been waiting around 10 – 15 minutes already. I would say we waited long enough at this point, right? My sister went up to one of the smoothie makers to inquire about our order, and he said, «We’re out of limes for your drink.» My sister said, «None of our drinks require limes.» duh. He had to re-look at the order and said«oh» after like a minute. So mind you, no one started our drinks until we asked about it 10 – 15 minutes later. Then, one worker says, «You been smoking’ huh?» Well that explains the slow and unsteady pace of their work. At this point, I went up to another smoothie maker, JOE, and asked what’s taking so long and why have 4 – 5 people who ordered after us got their drinks already. He looked at me and said, «Well we only have one juicer and fresh juice takes a long time.» He then proceeded to make other people’s smoothies. He took no initiative to check on the order, or make the situation better. At this point, my sister and I decided to get a refund. The manager, CHRISTIAN took no initiative to relieve the situation or keep our patronage. We got the District Manager’s name and number. We came in around 3pm and walked out around 3:32pm. What a waste of me and my sister’s precious time. Want Jamba Juice? Go to the BENICIAONE!

Called, let it ring for literally 10 minutes, no answer, tried again, let it ring for an additional 5 minutes. All I wanted was to confirm their business hours since I was heading 30 minutes away since this was the only location open late. It’s really not that hard to answer your phone guys. Work on it.

As a former fast food worker, I know the feeling of customers coming in literally one minute before we closed… But we hardly complained about people coming in 30 minutes before closing. Twice now have I gone to this Jamba Juice and they either refuse a service because they cleaned already or because they mis-prepped 30 minutes before closing. I might feel more understanding if they didn’t give such bad customer service but both times they’ve acted like I’ve walked in one minute before they closed and gave me an attitude.

Normally I wait for about 10 minutes for my jamba juice, BUT at this particular one I waited for less than 5 minutes! I was pleased! The workers are so polite and gave great customer service! Definitely coming back!

I literally waited 15 minutes to get my smoothie. I understand that it was a little more crowded than usual, but the service was just ridiculous. First, the line to order is slow because there was only one register open despite a line all the way to the door. The girl taking orders keeps chatting with each customer…“didnt we go to middle school together? how have you been? you look the same”…who the f cares?! take the orders already. Same problem with the people making the smoothies. They see their friend ordered a drink and they start chatting…“hey you wanna watch a movie later? did you just get off work? whatd you do yesterday?”…cmon! hurry the f up. sorry. it’s how where i am right now. other than the service, the drinks and cleanliness are pretty much standard jamba juice. no restroom here btw.

For the most part, I like this location. My order is always correct and I never have to wait that long. The staff is usually friendly, but they do get a little side tracked talking away sometimes(especially the girls here). But for being in Vallejo, I definitely can’t complain too much. This location is clean too which is always a plus.

Unfortunately, this Jamba Juice would rank in the bottom tier of the company’s overall locations. My expectations when entering a Jamba Juice location are not demanding. At a well-run store you will get enthusiastic friendly service while ordering and waiting for your favorite smoothies. You don’t get the same experience at the Vallejo store. The employees here don’t focus on customer service. No greetings, smiles, conversations or sense of urgency. The store is not the cleanest.(the wheatgrass they have on display in front of their blenders is brown and wilted at times! LOL!) I’m a big fan of their Mango-A-Go Go, but unfortunately I get an inconsistent product every time. Sometimes it’s sweeter, it’s watery, too icy or they put too much of an ingredient so they put the extra in a bigger cup thinking they are making my day. I just want my beverage according to their standard recipe. Also, this location has no cold case with their sandwiches and wraps. They serve Jamba standard pastries but none of the awesome California Flatbreads. My opinion, skip this location! If you are in the Concord area visit the Diamond Blvd. or Pleasant Hill stores.
