Very affordable and perfectly portioned! They hook you up with a lot for a mini and regular plate! I’ve been to locations in Martinez and Vacaville, but here in by the movie theater they really know good olé Hawaiian portions! For the price of what you can get at many restaurants and fast food restaurants, you can get more at L&L! This has got to be the best L&L in the North Bay by far! I highly recommend their Chicken Katsu!

I don’t know why this location has so many bad reviews, I never had a bad experience coming here. The food is always so good and I love the mac salad!

The closest I’ll get to eating a meal from back home. As an authentic and native Hawaiian — born and raised on the island of Oahu, unlike the many posers in California, the food isn’t bad at all given that we r not in Hawaii. Im here at least every other week. It isn’t the best tasting food compared to local food back home — I don’t eat L&L back home when I’m visiting. The workers aren’t the nicest but are totally fine in my opinion. I really like the young Latina cashier there. The rest leave more to be desired but I’m no there to be best friends with anyone.

Poor quality food and cheap on the sauce!!! They water downed all their sauces. The Tabasco sauce mixed in a gallon of water and the ribs were not fresh.

Not bad for Vallejo, considering there’s not many options. We need more restaurants that are not fast food. I do agree they employees can be rude.

The worse gravy fries and chicken katsu I have ever had from this franchise. Definitely not worthy of a star. Lots of items on the menu were sold out. The place was dirty and that should have been a clue to not order from there. The help was non-chalant and didn’t seem to like his job. Looks very unsanitary and unhealthy.

I have to say that their seafood mix with chicken tasted disgusting! The worst L&L Hawaiian barbecue in Vallejo! I should’ve just went to the one on Broadway instead that tastes way better than this one! And the oil they use to fry their food is really old seems like they haven’t changed it in awhile. I’ll give this place one star just because their Hawaiian sun drinks is good! If you guys want better tasting food than this place go to the one on Broadway!

I keep finding myself coming back to this place because it’s the closest thing to home cooking when your mom’s tired from her night shift aha. Always loved L&L as a kid growing up, and I still do! My favorite thing on the menu is the Loco Moco which is a hamburger steak over rice, topped with gravy and a fried egg. It is the thing I long for after a long day of work haha. As for service, they’re over all pretty friendly. It can be busy and you always have to wait for your food, but it definitely teaches you patience and once you see your food it’s definitely worth the wait! Only thing I wish they had are bigger water cups! They keep getting smaller and smaller! Aside from that keep doing your thing L&L lol.

I really enjoy L&L Hawaiian BBQ but I honestly feel like there is inconsistencies with the amount of food I get.

This L&L is very slow, but the food is consistently very good. I’ve eaten at a couple of different locations and while I’m sure this one isn’t the best, it’s still quite good. Sometimes you go in and there’s a line out the door, but generally the food is worth waiting for.

Pretty decent Hawaiian food. Not too expensive other than the fact that if you get a #2 or something you still have to buy the drink separately. Food tasted good, nothing that really stands out though. Was good for the price. Would come back.

This place deserves zero stars if I could put zero stars. The tall guy with glasses that always wears a hat was very rude! I went in there to eat my lunch because I work at the theaters. Usually they give me Cayenne Aioli sauce for free because I work in the plaza(what’s .33 you know) AND my co worker that just got his food a few minutes later got his katsu sauce for free? WTF but this time I got charged for it so I didn’t buy it which I can careless for. But what pissed me off is his service. First of all, he doesn’t seem too friendly, not a smile … NOTHING! Second of all, I ask for a water cup and I get some water. The water taste like SANITIZER. THATISNOTOK. Then, I patiently wait for him to ring up 2 customers and told him that the water tastes like sanitizer! All he was doing was looking down, didn’t even make eye contact, and was like«Iono.» Then I looked at him hella dumb. Like that’s all you’re gonna say?! HELLABADSERVICE. I had to return to work so I couldn’t ask for manager. But I remember who he is and that kind of service is unacceptable because I work at a food place and our service is better than this type of shit. BTW, I still have the sanitizer taste in my mouth as I’m typing this. If that’s how their employees treat their customers. Then the manager needs to be aware of this and hire new staff. This is fucking bullshit.

This location isn’t the best, but it’s close in proximity to where I live. My favorite dish, the chicken katsu, is really hit or miss at this spot. Sometimes it’s delicious, but oftentimes you may end up throwing a good third of it out, because the meat is gooey with fat, or lowkey undercooked. No choice select pieces here. The tables are never really clean: just freed of crumbs courtesy of a dry, dingy rag. Also, there’s no public restroom available.

Bad service, and they never get it right. The workers here aren’t friendly, especially the manager guy, he never smiles. Everytime I order extra sauce, they say okay. When I get my order, there is no extra. Can they ever get it right? The food is okay, but I had better at other L&Ls, especially the one in hercules. Also, their lines are always very long, and I always have to wait 25 mins after ordering to get my food, even on a slow day sometimes. This place is small, and sometimes feels crowded. Overall it’s an okay place but I only come if I am really craving it and am near this particular location, or I have no other choice.

Used to go here at least once a week, has decent food yet I always have just chicken and rice. The teriyaki sauce is very tasty and I prefer to use that on my rice rather than soy sauce. If your in a hurry you can call ahead on your order or just run in the store and order since either way is quick.

The bbq beef is my personal fav. It just always tastes good. Also, I cannot leave without a spam musubi. I freaking love those things. Never too expensive, I think I spend less here than at a McDonald’s. Sometimes they can get super busy but I just call ahead and it all works out great. Best hawaiin food in Vallejo.

When we go here we always order a ton of food. They are always willing to accommodate, which is always good. We went here with another family(my husband’s cousin and his family). There were a good 12 of us. They were about to close in 30 – 45 minutes but they allowed us to order over the phone before we arrived so that our food would be ready. They accommodated our special orders since some our kids have food allergies and there were others that are just picky(let’s be honest they were my picky kids). They accommodated double the rice and no mac salad. While I love mac salad, I’m not going to eat all the mac salad that my kids didn’t eat with their meals. That’s just way too much for me. Everything was cooked great and they were really nice about letting us eat inside even though they were getting ready to close. They simply worked around us. We cleaned up after ourselves. Once we were done, we thanked the workers for being so pleasant and left. We made sure not to stay too much over the time they were supposed to close. 5 stars for the great workers for not immediately kicking us out on a Saturday night before they were about to close and for not messing up our meals.

I ate here today with my sister for lunch. We had the Hawaiian Hamburger combo… ANDITWASGREAT! First time I ate a hamburger where I felt really full! The menu is also fairly cheap! Small but that didn’t matter to us :-)

Every time I visit my boyfriend and we’re craving Hawaiian BBQ, you’ll probably find us here! I’m surprised to see the reviews so low since we’ve never had a bad experience here! Last time we were here we waited around 15 minutes for the food.(But it was totally worth the wait because the food was hot and delicious!) Of course the crowd looked a bit sketchy so we didn’t stay there to eat, but I’m simple reviewing the place and the quality of the food. The only reason I give them 4 stars and not 5 is because they could put a little more pep in their step. Don’t get me wrong, the staff was very helpful in answering customer’s questions on the food, but they looked like the very life was getting sucked out of them. However, it didn’t really bother me or was something I focused on. Overall, I like the food this place serves and I’ll probably return. :3

This has to be the least pleasant L&L location I’ve come across. There are no restrooms and no credit cards accepted. If you decide to use a debit card, you are charged a merchant fee of 49 cents. That reflects a lot on the owner and this establishment in particular. It makes me wonder how much they are cutting quality to save a penny. I’ve over heard the cashier telling a customer to use the restroom at the mattress store next door. Are you serious? As for the food it was OK, but the ingredients used is questionable based on their business values. The dining area is not kept clean finding myself flicking grains of rice off the table that fell off the previous customer’s mouth. I had to literally wipe the grease off the table to get comfortable enough to enjoy my lunch plate.
