If i could give them 0 stars i would. DONOTEATHERE! MYWIFEAND I GOTFOODPOISION! Then when calling they said their manager was not there and gave me a random number to call. I called 707−704−4591 which is the number they gave me. He said anyone can go eat somewhere and say the same thing. He would not give me his name, or license number. DONOTEATHERE

Not really a check in, more of a check out. I walked in not knowing what time the restaurant closes being there’s nothing posted. Was not greeted waitress avoided I contact as well as the bartender. I had to approach a server after 3 to 5 minutes. He then told me they closed at nine, unfortunately it was 8:55PM everyone then turn their heads and not even asked if I’d like to order to go. As I’m getting in the car I see a family of four walk in. No judgment here just a different race that was greeted in a different manner. Truly disappointed

Micheladas are the absolute best! Every time I go the camarones empanizados(breaded shrimp) never disappoints me. Food is fresh. Tortillas are hand made. They close late on Friday nights. I wish it was the same for Saturday and Sunday. Occasionally the have Mariachi.

This place was GREAT! Décor is pretty basic, but the margaritas were large and tasty, and the food was delicious! The staff was very friendly and efficient. We’d been looking for food Mexican food in Vallejo, and we finally found it.

Clearly I had a margarita(or two) but even so, it was as alway great and clean and good. Love the owner who knows his business, and is a great bartender. After a long day at work or when you are in the area and want superior service and hospitality, Fabian is your guy! He makes the best Margaritas in town and is incredibly sweet. By the way, the food is great as well. A hidden gem waiting to be embarked upon. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

The food is great and consitant everytime. If you like seafood they have a good selection to choose from, and is always fresh in taste. However i will say that the service is a little slow, and workers lack motivation. I give the benifit of the doubt because the food is so good that i dont hold the service against them. The owner needs to realize this because this place has a lot of potential!

My husband has been praising this place, so after getting news from my tax man Macnoel Alvarez at Tax Ace in Vallejo that I am getting a TAXREFUND, I told my husband Let’s Celebrate! !! So we came here. We had a sampler plate, salad and Strawberry marqarita and Mango Margarita. LOVEIT! It was a diverse crowd and the services was personable and professional. I will be coming again.

Just walked out after being ignored for 15 minutes. The waitress was checking on other tables while we were not even acknowledged. This was the worst service ever. What stinks is we know the food is good. But we won’t stand for lousy service. Also noticed that they waited on the table that arrived after us. Not cool.

You can’t ask for much more from a local Mexican restaurant. Solid food. Solid booze. Good selection. Even live music. This place can become a scene on the right night. Whatever you do, don’t just order tacos and burritos. Order a plate of stuff and a margarita to wash it down. You’ll enjoy it.

What a great place! Family owned & teenage kids were helping out. The fajitas were phenomenal. Full bar and really friendly atmosphere. We like to avoid Big Box and eat local whenever possible. Huge, delicious bilingual menu.

We went here on Valentine’s Day and I must say the food was AMAZING!!! Definitely authentic Mexican food. We live in Suisun but had been in the area due to taking our kids to six flags and this place is fantastic. I practically licked my plate clean our only complaint was that the salsa was really salty and spicy and the chips were quite hard! I know weird combo right? Anywho, our actual food order was amazing and every one of us(were a family of five) enjoyed our food! The wait staff probably isn’t the most attentive which is why I gave it four stars BUT the food is so good that it can be slightly overlooked. We will definitely be back again and will probably just order to go. Since moving up to this area we hadn’t found an amazing tasting Mexican place until now! Worth the drive for us to order again!

Another great dinner and service! They serve dishes not offered at other Mexican restaurants. I had a dish with Carne Asada steak and shimp. Lot’s of food and the steak was soo tasty. My first impression of a great Mexican restaurant is the quality of their salsa. This one passed with flying colors The best Mexican food in Vallejo.

I usually go to this restaurant all the time since I don’t know any other good Mexican restaurant in Vallejo coming from Oakland where there tons of good one. The food and drinks are OK. One day I decided I just wanted rice and beans the medium size and the lady wanted 11.20 I was fine considering I thought it was gone be big when my mom pick it up and brought the food I couldn’t believe what I was looking at for 11.20. I was so mad I honestly think I’m never going back you only get one try and that’s it. If you willing to pay more then what you get be my guess!

Both service and food were bad. It was a quiet evening, food took 40 minutes and that’s only for a chicken enchilada. Food immediately gave me indigestion.

Tonight was my 6th visit to Las Palmitas and my last! With each visit came more disappointment. I would say 3 or 4 star food with 2 star service. The first time I visited this place, a friend had suggested it though he never ate there either, but heard good things about the food. We were not familiar with the business hours on a Sunday and arrived just as the bartender /owner(?) was about to lock the doors. She told us they were about to close. So we said we would come back another time but she was nice enough to let in. What great service, right? Our waitress was a young girl(possibly her daughter) and the service and food were excellent. My friend and I were very happy with our visit and talked about making it one of our regular spots. Especially since we were served a few minutes before closing. A few weeks later, my friend and I decided to eat there again. We had the same young girl as our waitress and though this time the place was much busier because of the football game, the food and service were very good. I had dined there a few more times by myself as I thought the food was good. And it seemed the times I ate alone, the service was lacking. I had different waitresses each time, not the same girl as with my first visit. Tonight was horrible. I sat myself as I was told to do on previous visits. The bar area was busy but there were only 2 tables with customers and the were already eating their food. About 5 minutes later, my server tossed a menu in front of me. No greeting, no smile. I said I already knew what I wanted and she seemed a bit annoyed that she had to take out her order pad and take my order. So I gave her my order and she said she would be right back with my drink. Since I was the only new customer that walked in, I expected to have my drink fairly quickly. After about 5 minutes, I’m looking around and I see her talking to customers /friends at the bar. She finally brings my drink(Dr. Pepper) and says I’ll be back with your chips and salsa. I playing games on my cell phone, watching the TV waiting for the chips and salsa. Mind you, I haven’t eaten since noon and it was now 8 pm, I am starving! While I’m playing a game on my phone, a Mexican family is seated near me. Two adults and two children. They instantly have chips and salsa on their table and a few minutes later they have their drinks and I’m still waiting. I looked around and I can see my waitress talking and joking around with another waitress in the kitchen area. At that time I got up and left. Maybe if you are Mexican, you will get better service but tonight they lost a customer for good. I went around the corner to Napoli’s where I was greeted by a friendly waitress with a smile and in the same I was waiting for my chips and salsa at Las Palmitas, I was eating at Napoli’s.

**** 4 stars for the food — love their salsa! ** 2 stars for service. They are slow, slow, slow!!! I take our cups to the bar to ask for refills, and we have to go to the cashier to get our ticket and pay. Not sure if they are understaffed, don’t want to rush you or what … But it always takes at least an hour. The delicious food brings us back though. I love their carne asada and my husband orders the Camarones a la Diablo.

The food is not bad. Portions are reasonable. The bad part is the complete lack of service. I mean absolutely no service. No refills. No how was everything no nothing. Took about 45 min to get our order to us. Only about 10 others seated. Not very busy. Salsa is very spicy but tasted good. The Chips however were from a bag. Round generic costco corn chips. Salty as heck. One last note. They were blasting mariachi music full blast from the tv mounted on the wall. So loud that the speakers were farting and distorted. No way you could have had a conversation. There is a bar inside the restraunt. They really cater more to the bar than restraunt.
