It’s been awhile since I’ve had a super burrito this good. Lengua (tongue) was very soft and tender. The pico de gallo was some serious salsa fresca. Thin slices of avocado instead of guacamole adds a nice touch to it. Refried beans makes things taste better so I’ll go healthy and try it with black beans next time. Wrapped very nicely and did not leak all over my hands as I devoured it. Got a chance to see the owner Luis cook the cabeza, it looked and smelled so good and it will be on my to try list next time I’m here.

I have always wanted to try this place and I have not yet been here. I live nearby and pass this place everyday. I cringe when I see the blinds in the windows. Please get new blinds so it will be inviting to come and try your establishment !

Legit taqueria in Vallejo. Super Burritos are delicious, & cheap. Guy behind the counter is super friendly. Definitely a great place to pick up some tasty & quick Mexican food.

This place tasted amazing! It’s a small restaurant in the middle of An intersection. I got the wet burrito and it was to die for it only cost me 9 $ tax included and they added chips and salsa

This place is the BOMB! The al pastor is to die for! The owners of this restaurant are kind and welcoming. You can tell they put love in their food! Highly recommended! I got the burrito and tacos!

My family and I went to this place last weekend. I do have to say the food was great however service was dreadful! It took 40 minutes to get our order from when we placed it to eat. We thought it might have been because it was memorial day weekend and there was only 2 people working. My husband order the oysters platter and the carna asada plate, my son had beef enchiladas and I had the shrimp taco salad; like I said we enjoyed the food! Our 18 month old did too!
I went up to pay without looking at the bill because i figured it would be between $$ 40 – 60. Great $ 48.00 with tip. This past weekend we went again because husband was craving oysters again (and I’m the one pregnant). This time a young lady came up to us to tell us that we were not charged for the oysters last weekend and the she indicated of putting them on our bill now. Really, who does that! My husband told her I’m sorry for your business mistake but that not our problem, how are we to know what happened to the bill. After this conversation, I chimed in and told her next time you may want to just eat crow because you don’t want to lose customers and she did this in front of other customers too. I can tell you right now we did not pay extra and that will be our last visit there! Way to keep customers coming back!

This is the place if your craving the real DELICIOUS TACOS IN VALLEJO! This is my #1 GO TO for the best SUPER STEAK BURITO AND STEAK TACOS. The owner is really nice. The chili verde sauce is the best sauce ever and you better try that chili verde in all your foods cause you will love it!

They decided not to honor our Groupon! «Just not working out» said the waitress. We drove from Napa and were very disappointed. We had already sampled their chips and salsa, which were terrible, so we didn’t stay. We will never go there again! Not cool to participate in a special deal and then decide not to honor it.

Poor business practice in the owners behalf that he dishonored a valid Groupon voucher, my voucher was valid and no expired, however, he expressed he had a fraud with the groupon representative and he was dishonoring any vouchers presented to him. I feel as a customer his rant and the feud he has with groupon should not affect his customers, we as customers are unaware of the business relations/​feud he’s experiencing so why turn away customers whom have expectations of redeeming a voucher his business is selling from a reputable website/​service like groupon. I felt his attitude was very poor and I ended up paying the full price for the meal. I agree with everyone regarding the food, it’s very good and flavorful, the atmosphere was a bit loud, there was a drunk woman singing karaōke and it ruined the moment for a quiet evening. I heard one lady complain that her enchiladas tasted like the sauce was from a can and not authentic, the food I had was very flavorful and the place is clean. I’m very disappointed with the owners attitude and hope HE can resolve his issues with groupon, but he can forget me recommending him or ever returning.

I went in once a few months back and the food was good, and the sauces were great.
I’ve gone back and tried to reorder the same items and sauces and they have been unable to duplicate. One time they charged me an additional 4 dollars for their «special» sauce which is kept under the counter. Which I didn’t like and tossed.
I’m thinking that I got lucky with that first visit when the food was good, because the rest of my orders have been completely unsatisfactory as well as over-​priced.
The last time I was in there, I was standing at the counter eating chips, and the waitress moved my basket and bowl of salsa, then minutes later took it out to a table for someone else to eat. MY BASKET AND BOWL and I double dipped!
This place is very pricey for inconsistent food coming out of the kitchen. It’s a crap shoot. The tacos I ordered were so dry, it was like little chunks of rock harden pork!
I’m really not happy with this place, and I won’t be going back, and if I could remove stars from the Rating, I would. –5 stars.
My advice is to go some where else.

Veggie burrito was great rarely order the. Pick de gallo was also good. Will try more items.

Bought a Groupon deal. Best Groupon purchase ever! The shrimp ceviche is almost as good as some I’ve had in Hawaii! Also ordered one beef taco and green chicken enchiladas. Wished I would’ve made the tacos my meal because those were second best! Enchiladas were my least favorite. My boyfriend ordered beef fajitas, but they (mistakenly or purposely) gave us chicken. No big deal because those were great! It was a blessing in disguise. Of course service was good too. Highly recommended!
Definitely a hit or miss… had it again two weeks later and wasn’t the same at all

I need to try their Aguachiles I ordered tacos before I saw it on the menu. What was I thinking!!! Next time I suppose…
Get traditional Mexican food here anything for gringos isn’t all that good. :-)

Customer service is always great here! The owner is very kind every time I come here. My favorite would be the carne asada super burrito. off tops bomb as hell!
and a side of chips and guacamole. They make there guac fresh, and probably iis the best guacamole I’ve had aside of Chipotle’s.

I choose to try this place based on a recommendation from a friend and from a couple reviews on here (Hi Unilocal!). I was a little skeptical because over the years this place has changed owners and names so many times, but I still choose to give it a shot. This review is only for the super burrito I had. I will say that others that have stated that this place makes excellent burritos are right! My carnitas super burrito was hella good! I was a little caught off guard when the girl behind the counter started talking to me in a different language but maybe thats a sign that the food is going to be good. Anyhow, after I asked for english, everything was fine after that =). This may become my new burrito spot. Thanks Mi Jacalito!

Was waiting while getting some work done on my car and was looking for some decent food near by. Ordered the adobada super burrito and it was delicious. Portion size was plenty. I’ve gotten used to Baldo’s drive thru which does the job but it’s nice sit down and have some higher quality Mexican food. I’ll be back for sure.

It was the 4 star ratings that got me here as I just moved into the area and I have to say that it really doesn’t live up too the 4 stars on the food itself. Now the service is exceptional however. I ordered the caldo de res and its probably the most plain and greasiest I’ve ever had. I also expected more vegetables and more meat, less blobs of fat. The cheese quesadilla and green sauce is on point though. I was really looking forward to four star food, disappointed. I will keep looking for my favorite mexican restaurant in the area.

& P. S maybe Magen F. Should stop being cheap because no matter the price the burritos are hella bomb so if you want a cheap burrito go to the taco truck but I bet it won’t taste as amazing as Mi Jacalito’s & if you wanna be so picky go to Taco Bell don’t nobody give a fuck #Hater

I dont know how this place gets such good ratings. Maybe I’m getting the wrong thing. I believe you have to pay for chips and salsa unless my super burrito was $ 7.50 without them. Red salsa taste like pizza sauce. My «super burrito» had meat, beans, cheese and maybe one scoop of Pico, nothing else! I’d rather have taco bell.

The best Mexican Food I ever had. I had the the Mariscos Molcajete, it was spicy and the seafood was cooked perfectly. I have found my new favorite place to eat. Luis was very friendly and helpful with explaining the menu to me, his wife Ruby is an amazing cook. I will be going back soon.
